Objective:This study was performed to analyze the clinical variables associated with occurrence of delirium tremens (DT) in inpatients with alcohol dependence initially admitted with diseases unrelated to alcohol. Methods:This study included 132 inpatients seeking treatment for medical problem with acute alcohol withdrawal. The cases were divided into two groups : with DT group (n=44), without DT group (n=88). We compared the epidemiologic data, alcohol withdrawal symptoms and serum analysis data between two groups. We used the logistic regression to predict risk factors for DT. Results:The DT group had more severe alcohol withdrawal symptoms, more amount of drinking alcohol, more number of drinking per month, higher blood urea nitrogen (BUN), creatinine, amylase, C-reactive protein and lower serum total protein than the without-DT group. According to the result of a logistic regression, occurrence of DT showed correlation with the following factors : sweating, hallucination, agitation, amount of alcohol consumption, number of drinking per month. Conclusion:Our study suggests development of DT was correlated with severe alcohol withdrawal symptoms, high BUN, creatinine and low total serum protein. Therefore, during assessment of alcohol dependent patients, clinicians should keep these parameters in mind in order to prevent DT.

지리산국립공원 칠선계곡지역의 식생구조를 파악하고자 천왕봉-선녀탕 구간 계곡부에 방형구(400m2) 23개를 설정하여 식생을 조사하였다. 식물군집을 분류한 결과 23개 조사구는 구상나무군집, 들메나무-당단풍군집으로 분류되었다. 천왕봉-마폭포구간에는 대부분이 구상나무가 우점하고 있었으며, 일부 지역에서 잣나무, 당단풍, 마가목 등의 침엽수와 낙엽수종들이 혼효하고 있었다. 수종간의 상관관계에서는 가문비나무와 마가목, 주목, 쇠물푸레, 음나무; 거제수나무와 물갬나무, 층층나무; 구상나무와 잣나무; 국수나무와 사스래나무, 산겨릅나무, 산벚나무; 당단풍과 사스래나무; 들메나무와 바위말발도리, 시닥나무; 마가목과 음나무; 물갬나무와 층층나무; 비목나무와 조록싸리, 졸참나무, 쪽동백나무; 생강나무와 전나무; 서어나무와 조록싸리; 쇠물푸레와 시닥나무, 잣나무, 주목; 시닥나무와 주목; 신갈나무와 철쭉; 졸참나무와 쪽동백나무 등의 수종들 간에는 높은 정의 상관관계가 인정되었고, 구상나무와 바위말발도리; 생강나무와 잣나무의 사이에는 부의 상관관계가 인정되었다. 조사지의 군락별 종다양성 지수(H`)는 2.7478~2.9573 범위로 비교적 높게 나타났다. To investigate the vegetation structure of mountain valley from Cheonwangbong to Seonneotang, 23 plots(400m2) set up with random sampling method were surveyed. Two groups of Abies koreana community, Fraxinus mandshurica-Acer pseudo-sieboldianum community were classified by cluster analysis. Abies koreana was a major woody plant species in the valley area from Cheonwangbong to Mapogpo, and Pinus koraiensis, Acer pseudo-sieboldianum and Sorbus amurensis was partly occupied. High positive correlations was proved between Picea jezoensis and Sorbus amurensis, Taxus cuspidata, Fraxinus sieboldiana, Kalopanax pictus; Betula costata and Betula platyphylla var. japonica, Cornus controversa; Abies koreana and Pinus koraiensis; Stephanandra incisa and Betula ermani, Acer tegmentosum, Prunus sargentii; Acer pseudo-sieboldianum and Betula ermani; Fraxinus mandshurica and Deutzia prunifolia, Acer tschonoskii var. rubripes; Sorbus amurensis and Kalopanax pictus; Betula platyphylla var. japonica and Cornus controversa; Lindera erythrocarpa and Lespedeza maximowiczii, Quercus serrata, Styrax obassia; Lindera obtusiloba and Abies holophylla; Carpinus laxiflora and Lespedeza maximowiczii; Fraxinus sieboldiana and Acer tschonoskii var. rubripes, Pinus koraiensis, Taxus cuspidata; Acer tschonoskii var. rubripes and Taxus cuspidata; Quercus mongolia and Rhododendron schlippenbachii; Quercus serrata and Styrax obassia, and relatively high negative correlations was proved between Abies koreana and Deutzia prunifolia; Lindera obtusiloba and Pinus koraiensis. Species diversity(H`) of investigated groups was ranged 2.7478~2.9573.

기백산지역의 산림군집구조 파악을 위해 24개의 방형구(20m×20m)를 설치하여 산림식생생육현황을 조사하였다. 이 지역은 2개의 군집(소나무-신갈나무, 졸참나무-물푸레나무)으로 분류되었으며, 작살나무와 비목나무; 고추나무와 층층나무, 고로쇠나무; 산뽕나무와 층층나무, 고로쇠나무, 고추나무; 딱총나무와 층층나무, 고추나무, 산뽕나무; 들메나무와 고로쇠나무; 물박달나무와 다릅나무; 개암나무와 졸참나무, 딱총나무; 대팻집나무와 쪽동백나무, 정금나무; 철쭉과 쇠물푸레 등의 수종들 간에는 높은 정의 상관관계가 인정되었으며, 쇠물푸레, 고추나무, 산뽕나무는 부의 상관관계가 인정되었다. 본 조사지의 종 다양도는 2.7606~ 3.2329로 나타났다. To investigate the forest community structure in the Kibaegsan(Mt.) area, 24 plots(20m×20m) were set up with a random sampling method. Forest community in those area was classified by cluster analysis into two groups (Pinus densiflora-Quercus mongolica and Quercus serrata-Fracinus rhynchophylla community). There were strong positive correlations between Callicarpa japonica and Lindera erythrocarpa; Staphylea bumalda, Cornus controversa and Acer mono; Morus bombycis, Cornus controversa, Acer mono and Staphylea bumalda; Sambucus williamsii var. coreana, Cornus controversa, Staphylea bumalda and Morus bombycis; Fracinus mandshurica and Acer mono; Betula davurica and Maackia amurensis; Corylus heterophylla var. thunbergii, Quercus serrata and Sambucus williamsii var. coreana; Ilex macropoda, Styrax obassia and Vaccinium oldhamii; Rhododendron schlippenbachii and Fraxinus sieboldiana, and while there were negative correlations between Fraxinus sieboldiana, Staphylea bumalda and Morus bombycis. Species diversity(H′) of the investigated area was 2.7606 ~3.2329.
