This study purposes to provide a basic resource for effectively using products of hair manicure through the tests on Pigmentation Level according to the moisture content when hair manicure is treated and the repetition frequency of hair manicure treatment. Hair samples were acquired from one healthy woman in mid―20’s. They were tied up 2 grams per sample and their ends were fixed with silicon respectively. Moisture was spread on each healthy hair sample according to its content ― The control group(A), Moisture 1g(B), Moisture 2g(C), Moisture 3g(D) and Moisture 4g(E). Damaged hair samples are done with the same way - The control group(A'), Moisture 1g(B'), Moisture 2g(C'), Moisture 3g(D') and Moisture 4g(E'). Finally, hair manicure was treated on the samples and spectra colorimeter was used to measure hair color. For the other test, each healthy and damaged hair samples were classfied by the repetition frequency of hair manicure treatment after spreading 1 gram of moisture on it ― Healthy hair samples : The control group(a), once treatment(b), twice(c), three times(d), four times(e) and five times(f), Damaged hair samples : The control group(a'), once treatment(b'), twice(c'), three times(d'), four times(e') and five times(f'). Pigmentation Level according to moisture content is highly measured at Moisture 1g(C) of healthy hair sample(a*=4.51, △E*ab=3.10) and Moisture 1g(C') of damaged hair sample.(a*=54.67, △E*ab=57.29) When hair manicure is repeatedly treated, Pigmentation Level according to moisture content is highly measured at five times(f) of healthy hair sample(a*=8.89, △E*ab=7.66) and five times(f') of damaged hair sample.(a*=58.66, △E*ab=59.58).
