      • 치어기 넙치 사료내 ${\beta}-1,3$ 글루칸의 첨가가 성장 및 비특이적 면역반응에 미치는 영향

        본 실험은 치어기 넙치에 잇어서 ${\beta}-1,3$ 글루칸을 사료내 첨가시 성장, 비특이적 면역반응 및 질병저항성에 미치는 영향을 조사하기 위하여 사료내 ${\beta}-1,3$ 글루칸을 수준별 첨가하여 실시였다. 실험어는 평균무게 3.2 g인 넙치 치어를 사용하였으며, 기초사료에 ${\beta}-1,3$ 글루칸을 대조구, ${\beta}-1,3$ 글루칸 0.01, 0.025%, 0.05% 및 0.1%를 각각 첨가하여 총 5개 실험구로 3반복배치하여 6주간 실시하였다. 총 6주간의 성장 실험결과, 면역증강물질인 ${\beta}-1,3$ 글루칸의 첨가에 따르는 사료효율과 단백질전환효율에 있어서 ${\beta}-1,3$ 글루칸 0.1%를 공급한 사료구가 대조구와 다른처리구에 비하여 유의하게 높은 값을 나타냈다(P<0.05). 증체율과 일간성장율에 있어서는 ${\beta}-1,3$ 글루칸 0.1%를 공급한 사료구가 대조구, ${\beta}-1,3$ 글루칸 0.01%, 0.025%를 첨가한 구보다 유의하게 높은 값을 나타내었지만 ${\beta}-1,3$ 글루칸 0.05%구와는 유의한 차이가 없었다. 비만도에 있어서는 ${\beta}-1,3$ 글루칸 0.05%와 0.1%를 첨가한 구가 대조구와 첨가구보다는 유의적으로 높았다. 헤마토크리트치는 ${\beta}-1,3$ 글루칸 0.05%와 0.1%첨가한 실험구가 대조구와 ${\beta}-1,3$ 글루칸을 0.01%와 0.025%를 첨가한 실험구에 비하여 유의하게 높은 값을 나타내었다(P<0.05). 혈청내 GOT에 있어서 ${\beta}-1,3$ 글루칸 0.05%와 0.1%를 첨가한 실험구가 대조구, ${\beta}-1,3$ 글루칸 0.01%와 0.025%를 첨가한 실험구보다 유의하게 낮은 값을 나타내었다(P<0.05). 비특이적 면역반응 결과에 있어서는 ${\beta}-1,3$ 글루칸을 0.05%와 0.1%를 첨가한 실험구가 혈청의 lysozyme 활성 및 두신 phagocyte의 chemiluminescent(CL) 반응에서 대조구, ${\beta}-1,3$ 글루칸 0.01%와 0.025%를 첨가한 실험구보다 유의하게 높은 값을 나타내었으나, 보체대체활성의 경로에 있어서는 전실험구간의 유의한 차이를 보이지 않았다. 공격 실험 결과에서는 ${\beta}-1,3$ 글루칸을 첨가한 실험구가 대조구에 비하여 초기폐사율이 낮음을 확인할수 있었으며, 상기 결과를 토대로, 넙치 치어의 경우 ${\beta}-1,3$ 글루칸을 0.05% 이상 0.1% 미만을 사료에 첨가하는 것이 성장, 사료효율 증진, 항산화능 및 질병저항성에 가장 좋은 효과를 나타낼 수 있을 것을 사료된다. This study was conducted to investigate the effects of dietary supplementation of ${\beta}-1,3$ glucan on growth and immune responses in juvenile olive flounder, Paralichthys olivaceus fed the white fish meal based diets for 6 weeks. Five experimental diets supplemented with ${\beta}-1,3$ glucan at 0, 0.01, 0.025, 0.05, 0.1 % (Control, $G_{0.01},\;G_{0.025},\;G_{0.05}\;and\;G_{0.1}$, respectively) of diet on a dry-matter basis. Five experimental diets were formulated to be isonitrogenous and isocaloric to contain 50.0% crude protein and 16.7 kJ available energy $g^{-1}$. Fish averaging $3.2{\pm}0.1\;g\;(mean{\pm}SD)$ were randomly distributed in each aquarium as triplicate groups of 15 fish. Weight gain (WG, %), specific growth rate (SGR, %), and feed efficiency (FE, %) of fish fed $G_{0.1}$ diet were found significantly higher than those of fish fed Control, $G_{0.01},\;G_{0.025}\;and\;G_{0.05}$ diets (P<0.05). However, there was no significant difference among the fish fed control, $G_{0.01},\;G_{0.025}$. Chemiluminescent responses (CL) of fish fed $G_{0.1}$ diet were significantly higher than those of fish fed the other diets. Serum lysozyme activities of fish fed $G_{0.05}$ and $G_{0.1}$ diets were higher than those of fish fed control, $G_{0.025}$ and $G_{0.05}$ diets. Fish fed $G_{0.1}$ diet showed a significantly lower cumulative mortality than did fish fed control diet throughout the challenge test (P<0.05). These results suggested that based on growth rate, feed efficiency, non-specific immunity and protection against microbial infections the optimum dietary ${\beta}-1,3$ gulcan could be greater than 0.05% but less than 1.0% in juvenile olive flounder, Paralichthys oilvaceus.

      • 패턴인식용 VLSI 펄스형 디지탈 다계층 신경망의 구조및 동작 특성

        대규모 병렬처리가 가능하고 칩당 뉴론 집적도가 높은 펄스형 디지털 다계층 신경망 구조를 제안하였다. 제안된 신경망에서는 대수적인 신경망연산이 의사-랜덤 펄스 시퀀스(pseudo-random pulse sequences)와 단순 디지털 논리 게이트를 이용하여 확률적 프로세스로 대치되었다. 확률적 프로세스의 결과로 나타나는 신경망 연산의 통계적 모델을 제시하였으며 이를 바탕으로 랜덤잡음의 영향과 연산의 정확도를 분석하였다. 이진인식 문제를 적용하여 제안된 신경망의 성능을 평가하고 제시한 통계적 분석결과의 정당성을 검증하였다. Gate 레벨과 register transfer 레벨로 기술된 신경망의 VHDL 모델의 시뮬레이션 결과는 개발된 통계적모델로 예측된 인식추정치와 실제 인식률이 거의 일치함을 보였으며, 또한 숫자인식률에 있어서도 일반 Back-Propagation 신경망의 인식률과 거의 차이가 없음을 보였다. In this paper, a pulse-mode digital multilayer neural network with a massively parallel yet compact and flexible network architecture is presented. Algebraicneural operations are replaced by stochastic processes using pseudo-random pulse sequences and simple logic gates are used as basic computing elements. The distributions of the results from the stochastic processes are approximated using the hypergeometric distribution. A statistical model of the noise(error) is developed to estimate the relative accuracy associated with stochastic computing in terms of mean and variance. Numerical character recognition problems are applied to the network to evaluate the network performance and to justify the validity of analytic results based on the developed statistical model. The network architectures are modeled in VHDL using the mixed descriptions of gate-level and register transfer level (RTL). Experiments show that the statistical model successfully predicts the accuracy of the operations performed in the network and that the character classification rate of the network is competitive to that of ordinary Back-Propagation networks.

        A New Algorithm for the Estimation of Variable Time Delay of Discrete Systems

        A new on-line estimation algorithm for a time varying time delay is proposed. This algorithm is based on the concept of minimization of prediction error. As only the parameters directly related to the poles and zeros of the process are estimated in the algorithm, persistently exciting condition for the convergence of parameters can be less restrictive. Under some assumptions which is necessary in adaptive control, it is shown that this algorithm estimates time varying time delay accurately. In view of computational burden, this algorithm needs far less amount of calculations than other methods. The larger the time delay is, the more effective this algorithm is . Computer simulation shows good properties of the algorithm. This algorithm can be used effectively in adaptive control of large dead time processes.

        이중범프포일 공기베어링의 성능에 미치는 마찰효과

        This paper deals with friction effects on the performance of double-bumped AFBs. The stiffness and damping coefficients of the double bump vary depending on the external load and its friction coefficient. The double bump can be either in the single or double active region depending on vertical deflection. The equivalent stiffness and damping coefficients of the bump system are derived from the vertical and horizontal deflection of the bump, including the friction effect. A static and dynamic performance analysis is carried out by using the finite difference method and the perturbation technique. The results of the performance analysis for a double-bumped AFB are compared with those obtained for a single-bumped AFB. This paper successfully proves that a double bumped AFB has higher load capacity, stiffness, and damping than a single-bumped AFB in a heavily loaded condition.

        고압하에서 브롬화벤질류의 반응에 대한 속도론적 연구

        3-피콜린과 파라치환 브롬화벤질류의 반응을 온도와 압력 및 치환기 변화에 따라 속도론적으로 연구하였다. 속도상수로부터 활성화 파라미터들과 Hammett .rho.값을 계산하였다.결과적으로 반응중심에는 양의 전하가 진전되고 결합형성 보다는 결합파괴가 촉진됨을 알 수 있었다. 압력증가에 따라 반응 속도와 전하이동능력은 증가하고, 낮은 온도에서의 전하이동에 대한 압력효과가 더욱 크게 작용하고 있음을 알 수 있다. Kinetics for the reaction of para-substituted benzyl bromides with 3-picoline have been studied with the changes of substituent, pressure and temperature. The activation parameters and the Hammett ρ-values were determined from the values of rate constants. The results of these studies showed that the positive charge developed in the reaction center and bond cleavage was greater than bond formation. The reaction rate and the ability of charge transfer were increased with elevating pressure. The effect of pressure for the charge transfer was more enhanced at low temperatures.

        이중범프포일 공기베어링의 성능해석

        This paper presents a theoretical model for the analysis of double-bumped AFBs. The stiffness and damping coefficients of the double bump vary depending on the external load and its friction coefficient. In the case of a lightly loaded condition where only the upper bump contributes to deformation, the double bump is in the single active region. In the case of a heavily loaded condition where both the upper and lower bumps contribute to deformation, the double bump is in the double active region. So the double bump can be either in the single or double active region depending on vertical deflection. The equivalent stiffness and damping coefficients of the bump system are derived from the vertical and horizontal deflection of the bump, including the friction effect. A static and dynamic performance analysis is carried out by using the finite difference method and the perturbation technique. The results of the performance analysis for a double-bumped AFB are compared with those obtained for a single-bumped AFB.         Objective Verification of Acute Tinnitus and Validation of Efficacy of Systemic Steroids in Rats

        Background: This study was performed to identify acute tinnitus and evaluate the efficacy of steroids for noise-induced acute tinnitus by measuring the gap-prepulse inhibition of the acoustic startle (GPIAS) value in an animal model. Methods: Nineteen rats (the noise group [n = 7] and the noise + dexamethasone [DEX] group [n = 12]) were exposed to narrow-band noise centered at 16 kHz from a sound generator for 4 hours. The noise + DEX group received intraperitoneal steroid administration daily for 5 days (1.5 mg/kg/day) after completing noise exposure. Auditory brainstem response and GPIAS value were measured just prior to, and 1 day after noise exposure and on days 1 and 10 days after completing steroid administration. The changes in cochlear structure were evaluated by histological analysis. Results: The threshold shift was checked 1 and 10 days after intraperitoneal steroid injection, and no differences in threshold shift were observed between the two groups in each frequency except for 32 kHz 1 day after steroid injection. The mean GPIAS value in the noise + DEX group (36.4% ± 14.1%) was significantly higher than that in the noise group (16.4% ± 18.8%) 10 days after intraperitoneal steroid administration (P = 0.017). There were no pathological changes associated with noise trauma in the two groups as determined on hematoxylin and eosin and immunohistochemical staining. Conclusion: An acute tinnitus model with minimal structural changes by noise exposure was set up, and used to verify tinnitus objectively by measuring the GPIAS value. Steroid therapy for control of tinnitus was validated in this animal model.

        The Interaction of Gallium Iodide with n-Propyl Iodide in Nitrobenzene and m-Xylene on High Vacuum

        니트로벤젠 및 m-크실렌 용액내에서 1-요오드화프로판의 용해도를 8$^{\circ}$, 15$^{\circ}$및 25$^{\circ}C$에서 요오드화칼륨이 존재할 때와 존재하지 않을 때의 두 경우에 대하여 각각 측정하여 보았다. 요오드화칼륨이 존재하지 않을 때에 m-크실렌에서 1-요오드화프로판의 용해도가 니트로벤젠에서 보다 크다. 이것은 1-요오드화프로판과 m-크실렌의 상호작용이 니트로벤젠보다 더 강하다는 것을 나타낸다. 그리고 요오드화칼륨이 존재할 경우에는 용액내에서 1-요오드화프로판과 요오드화칼륨이 불안정한 착물이 생성된다. 이 착물을 여러 경우로 가정하여 계산하여 본 결과 1:1 착물일 때, 불안정 상수 K값이 비교적 일정한 값을 나타내었다. 그러므로 1:1 착물 n-C$_3H_7I{\cdot}GaI_3$가 형성됨을 알았으며, 이 착물은 용액내에서 다음 평형식에 의해서 이루어 진다고 본다. n-C$_3H_7I{\cdot}GaI_3{\rightleftharpoons}n-C_3H_7I+1/2Ga_2I_6$ 요오드화칼륨과 1-요오드화프로판의 착물의 불안정도를 이와 대응하는 요오드화메틸과 비교하여 보았다. 또한 이 착물의 해리에 대한 엔탈피, 자유에너지 및 엔트로피 변화도 산출하였다. The solubilities of the n-propyl iodide in nitrobenzene and m-xylene have been measured at 8$^{\circ}$, 15$^{\circ}$ and 25$^{\circ}C$ in the presence and the absence of gallium iodide. When gallium iodide does not exist in the system, the solubility of n-propyl iodide in m-xylene is greater than in nitrobenzene, indicating a stronger interaction of n-propyl iodide with m-xylene than that with nitrobenzene. It could be thought that n-propyl iodide forms unstable complex with gallium iodide in the presence of gaillium iodide in the system. This complex has been assumed in various ways and evaluated, that instability constant (K value) is relatively certain under the assumption of 1:1 complex, n-C$_3H_7I{\cdot}GaI_3$. Therefore, the complex would form the following equilibrium in the solution: n-C$_3H_7{\cdot}GaI _3{\rightleftharpoons}n-C_3H_7I+1/2Ga_2I_6$ the instability of the complex of n-propyl iodide with gallium iodide is compared with similar complexes of gallium iodide with methyl iodide. The changes of enthalpy, free energy and entropy for the dissociation of the complex are also calculated.

        염화벤조일류와 피리딘과의 반응에 대한 압력의 영향

        Kinetic studies for the reaction of pyridine with substituted benzoyl chlorides were conducted under various pressures (1-1000 bar) in acetonitrile. From rate constants, the activation parameters (${\Delta}V^{\neq}$, ${\Delta}{\beta}^{\neq}$,${\Delta}H^{\neq}$, ${\Delta}S^{\neq}$ and ${\Delta}G^{\neq}$) were evaluated. Rates of these reaction increased with an increase in the pressure. The activation volume, the activation compressibility coefficient and the activation entropy were negative. From substituents effect and these results, it was found that these reactions proceed through $S_N2$ mechanism, but the structure of transition state was slightly changed with substituents and pressure. Acetonitrile 용매내에서 pyridine과 치환된 benzoyl chloride류의 반응을 압력변화(1-1000 bar)에 따라 속도론적으로 연구하였다. 속도상수로부터 활성화파라미터들(Δ$V^{\neq}$, ${\Delta}{\beta}^{\neq}$, ${\Delta}H^{\neq}$, ${\Delta}S^{\neq}$ and ${\Delta}G^{\neq}$)을 구하였다. 압력이 증가함에 따라 속도상수는 증가하고 ${\Delta}V^{\neq}$, ${\Delta}{\beta}^{\neq}$, 및 ${\Delta}S^{\neq}$는 모두 음의 값을 나타내었으며, 치환기효과와 종합하여 반응메카니즘을 고찰한 결과 전체적인 반응은 $S_N2$ 반응메카니즘으로 진행되나, 치환체와 압력변화에 따라 전이상태 구조에 약간의 변화가 있으리라 생각된다.

      • QFT를 이용한 파라미터 불확실성을 갖는 비최소위상 제어시스템의 강인한 제어기 설계

        본 논문은 파라미터 불확실성을 갖는 비최소위상 시스템의 강인제어 문제를 고려한다. 먼저 불확실성을 갖는 비최소위상 시스템을 구간 최소위상 전달함수군과 Pade'근사화 형태로 시간지연 성분으로 변환하는 새로운 방법을 제시한다. 제안하게 될 제어기는 비최소위상 플랜트로 인한 시간지연 거동을 보상할 수 있도록 Smith 예측기 구조를 갖는 보상기로 구성된다. 최소위상 플랜트군의 피드백 제어기는 구조적 불확실성에 대해 주파수 영역의 설계사양의 강인 안정도를 만족하도록 QFT를 이용하여 설계되었다. 전체 시스템의 안정도와 성능은 예제를 통하여 입증한다. We consider the robust control problem for non-minimum phase(NMP) systems with parametric uncertainty. First, a new method that translates such an uncertain NMP system into a interval family of minimum phase(MP) transfer functions followed a time delay term in the form of Pade' approximation is presented. The controller to be proposed consists of a compensator with Smith predictor structure, so that it can compensate the time delay behaviour due to NMP plant. Therein, the main feedback controller for a family of MP plants has been designed by using quantitative feedback theory(QFT) such that satisfies the robust stability against the structured uncertainty. The stability and performance of overall system are examined through an illustrative example.
