In order to study the genetic structure and gene frequencies in Korean population, 200 liver and 400 blood samples were screened for 6-PGD, IDH, LDH, MDH, SDH, and α-GPD belonging to oxidoreductase. In six kinds of enzymes studied, 6 PGD and MDH-m were polymorphic and the rest were monomorphic. The gene frequency at 6-PGD-A and 6-PGD-C in liver and blood was 0.910 and 0.090, 0.915 and 0.085, respectively. In the genetic structure of MDH, only one MDH-m variant was observed among 200 liver samples.

Red cell adenylate kinase(AK) phenotype and gene frequency was determined by horizontal starch gel electrophoresis for 509 unrelated adult individuals living in the 6 provinces of Korea> Only one type of AK 1 phenotype was found for all individuals surveyed, thus the genes for AK systems were fixed for single allele, AK1. The frequencies of AK1 and AK2 were 1.000 and 0.000, respectively in Korea. In the literature data on the phenotypes and gene frequencies of the AK are widely scattered have been complied, and here certain trends in the AK2 gene distribution were considered.

본 논문에서는 근거리의 기계나 장치들을무선으로 원격 제어 하기 위한무선 데이터 통신용 송수신기 모듈을 설계하였다. 개발된 모률은 ISM 대역에서 424MHz 주파수를 이용하고, 153.6Kbps 의 전송속도로 데이터를 전송할 수 있다 . 모률에서 데이터를 전송할 때, 데이터를 인식하고 제어하기 위한 프로세서는 알테라사의 CPLD 칩을 사용 하여 VHDL로 프로그래ald하여 구현한다. 향후, 모률의 소형화와 높은 전송속도 등에 대한 연구를 계속하여 무선식별장치 (RFID) 기술에 적용할 것이다. In this paper, we designed radio data transceiver to control the machine or equipments for automation in local areas. The designed module can transmit data with 153.6Kbps and uses 424MHz RF carrier to transmit data in the ISM band regulation. It has a processor, CPLD chip of the Altera Company, to control the data in transmitting and receiving. The processor is implemented by programming with VHDL. We will make this module with compact in dimension and higher data rate and apply to RFID technology.

The authors have found that the lectin extracted from Banha (Pinellia ternata) induces mitosis of human peripheral blood lymphocytes in vitro. The mitogenic activity of lectin reached maximum level at the concentration of 5㎍/ml.

초고속 인터넷의 보급, 디지털 정보장비의 확산 및 생활 패턴의 변화에 따라 흠 네트워크의 필요성이 점차 확대되고 있다. 이에 따라 본 논문에서는 홈 네트워크화를 위해서 8051 MCU, 하드와이어드 TCP/IP(W3150A)를 이용하여 임베디드 이더넷 모듈을 설계, 구현하였다. 타겟 머신에 간단한 웹 서버를 구축하고 이를 이용한 원격제어 프로그램을 포팅하여 원격지에서도 인터넷으로 가전기기를 제어할 수 있도록 하였다. 개발한 모듈을 이용하여 유비쿼터스 시대에 저가격으로 홈 오토메이션을 구현할 수 있으리라 생각한다. Upon the changes of human life style due to the distribution of ultra-high speed internet services and the development of high-tech information equipment, the idea of necessity fer home networking has been widely accepted. Thus, "embedded ethernet module" was designed in this paper for the stabilization of home networking by using 8051 MCU, Hardwired TCP/IP (W3150A). By executing remote software on established simple web-server on the target machine, controlling electric equipment became available elsewhere. With this module, establishing a low-cost home automations system would become possible in a ubiquitous society.
부탄과 프로판 혼합비율에 따른 액상 LPG 분사시 Icing 특성

LPG(Liquified Petroleum Gas) fuel for vehicles has lots of advantages such as low emission level, cheaper fuel cost and enough infrastructure. Therefore it arouses interest as an alternative engine to reduce emission of diesel engines. Especially MPI(Multi Point Injection) type LPLi(Liquid Phase LPG injection) system could have overcome the disadvantages of mixer types such as low engine performance, decreased charging efficiency and cold starting difficulty. However ice formation on the nozzle tip and intake port due to the freezing of moisture around the components is often observed in LPLi systems. This icing phenomenon is the direct cause of unstable engine combustion, resulting in engine emissions. Therefore in this research, a spray visualization test for LPG injection was carried out to obtain the basic information of an LPLi injector, then the effects of butane and propane mixing rates on ice formation at the intake port and nozzle tip was investigated. As a result, the icing characteristics of them showed contrary results according to the mixing rates.

In this dissertation reports an experimental development of 4.9GHz and 12.25GHz microwave spatial filter using FSS(Frequency Selective Surface) method. In electric circuits, filters are one of the fundamental devices. In microwave engineering, the counterpart of a fiter is a frequency selective surface. Similar to the frequency fiters in traditional RF circuits, the FSS may have low-pass or high-pass spectral behavior, depending on the array element type. More recently, the capabilities of the FSS have been extended by the combination of other components or modules, For example, microwave oven, satellite sys tem, wireless power transmission system, and so on. In generally, Frequency selective Surface with square-loop element have been designed for single frequency band. Their resonant frequencies are fairly stable with respect to changes in incident angle and polarization. In addition the grid geometry is Symmetrical in the x and y direction. This implies that it is also good for circular polarization. In double square-loop elements has a same conditions as a square-loop element. But it has a multi-band frequency band characteristics. A frequency selective surface was designed using a basis function and manufactured using HMIC method. When applied FSS Structure, insertion loss was under 1dB as the passband and over 20dB as the stopband.These results should be useful for future wireless communication system design.

We examined Y chromosomal DNA polymorphisms at the DYS19 and DXYS5Y loci in a total of 480 unrelated male samples from the Korean population. All five common alleles were identified at the tetranucleotide microsatellite locus DYS19 in this study. The C allele was the most frequent (212/480), followed by D (136/480), B (75/480), E (36/480) and A (21/480) allele. The frequency of Y2 allele at the DXYS5Y locus was found to be 4.6% (22/480). Combining the allelic variation at these two loci resulted in a total of 9 combination haplotypes. The mean combination haplotype diversity wIns 0.72. Based on the results of these two loci, Korean and Japanese populations may share some common genetic structure that is rare or absent in the other ethnic groups. The genetic similarity between Korean and Japanese populations may be due to the large infusion of Y chromosomes through the Yayoi migration starting 2,300 years ago from Korea to Japan.
