1. 연구의 필요성 및 목적 □ 장애여성에게 취업은 경제적 자립의 필수적인 요인임에도 불구하고, 장애여성의 고용 현황은 매우 열악한 상황임. - 2016년 현재 장애여성의 고용률은 20.8%로 전체 장애여성 5명 가운데 약 1명만이 취업 상태에 있음. - 또한 전체여성의 고용률은 50.8%로 장애여성에 비해 2배 이상 높고, 장애여성의 실업률은 다른 집단에 비해 상대적으로 높은 상황임. □ 장애여성의 고용을 확대하기 위해서는 장애여성의 취업과 노동시장 이행에 대한 체계적인 연구가 필요함. - 장애여성은 장애 차별과 성차별이라는 이중의 차별에 노출되어 있음. 그에 따라 경제 상황이 악화되고, 전반적인 고용이 위축되면 다른 집단에 비해 실업의 위험이 큰 집단임. - 따라서 장애여성 실업자와 비경제활동인구의 특성 및 노동시장 이행, 그리고 장애여성 실업자에 대한 정부 지원 방안에 대한 체계적인 연구를 통해 장애여성 고용 확대 정책을 추진할 필요가 있음. □ 이와 같은 배경 하에서 본 연구는 장애여성 실업자의 특성, 취업 등 노동시장 이행에 대한 분석, 장애여성의 취업 지원 수요 분석 등을 통해 장애여성 실업자의 취업 촉진 및 장애여성 고용 방안을 마련하기 위한 목적으로 수행되었음. - 장애여성 실업자 현황 및 노동시장 이행 분석과 함께 국외의 장애여성 취업지원 정책의 비교 분석 결과 등을 통해 장애여성 실업 해소에 필요한 구체적인 방안을 마련하고, 장애여성 고용 확대에 기여하는 것을 목적으로 함. 2. 연구내용 및 방법 가. 연구내용 □ 장애여성 실업 관련 선행연구 분석 □ 국내 정책 현황 및 국외 장애여성 실업자 지원정책 비교분석 □ 장애여성의 실업 현황 및 장애여성 경제활동상태 결정요인 분석 - 통계청의 고용보조지표를 경제활동인구조사 자료(통계청)와 장애인경제활동실태조사 자료(한국장애인고용공단 고용개발원)에 적용 - 장애여성의 실업 현황, 장애 남녀 실업자와 전체 남녀 실업자 비교, 장애 남녀 미취업자와 전체 남녀 미취업자 비교 등 - 장애여성의 시간제 일자리 선호요인 및 경제활동상태 결정요인 분석 □ 장애여성 실업자·비경제활동인구의 취업 이행 과정 분석 - 장애인고용패널조사 (1차 웨이브)(한국장애인고용공단 고용개발원) 자료를 활용하여 장애여성 실업자·비경제활동인구 특성별 취업 이행 현황과 취업 이행 결정 요인에 대한 분석 □장애여성 실업자의 취업 이행 이후 일자리 현황 분석 - 장애인고용패널조사 (1차 웨이브)(한국장애인고용공단 고용개발원) 자료를 이용하여 이전년도 미취업 상태에 있던 장애 남녀 임금근로자의 일자리 특성 검토 - 미취업 경험이 장애 남녀 임금근로자의 고용형태, 임금, 취업 안정성에 미치는 효과 분석 □ 장애여성 실업자·비경제활동인구의 취업 지원 수요 분석 - 실업 및 비경제활동상태의 장애여성을 대상으로 실시한 취업지원 수요 조사 결과를 바탕으로 취업희망 의사, 고용지원서비스 이용 경험, 직업훈련과 고용서비스 수요를 분석 □ 장애여성 실업 관련 정책과제 개발 나. 연구방법 □ 문헌 연구 □ 자료 분석 - 장애인고용패널조사, 장애인경제활동실태조사, 경제활동인구조사 등 통계 원자료 분석 □ 설문조사 - 실업 장애여성의 취업 지원 수요를 파악하기 위해 실업 및 비경제활동 장애여성 200여 명을 대상으로 설문조사 실시 - 주요 조사내용은 취업 희망 의사, 직업훈련, 고용서비스 등에 장애여성 실업자 지원 관련 정책 지원 수요로 구성 The purpose of this study is to facilitate the employment of women with disabilities and to prepare ways to employ women with disabilities by analyzing characteristics of unemployed Korean women with disabilities, their transition into the labor market, including getting a job, and demands for supporting their employment, thereby promoting their employment. To achieve this research purpose, this study analyzed the current state of unemployment of women with disabilities and the transition of unemployed women with disabilities into the labor market using the data from the Survey of Economic Activity Status of the Disabled and the Panel Survey of Employment for the Disabled. Also, the study reviewed overseas cases and identified demands for supporting their employment through a questionnaire survey of unemployed women with disabilities. Major research findings include, first, the unemployment rate of women with disabilities according to the expanded concept of unemployment by Statistics Korea is higher than the employment rates of all men, all women, and men with disabilities. Second, unemployed women with disabilities want to receive support for employment, employment retention, and vocational skill development and training. Third, according to the analysis of determinants of the economic activity status of women with disabilities using the multinomial Logit model, recipients of the basic livelihood security have a significantly higher probability of being in economically inactive status than in economically active status, and of belonging to unemployed status than to employed status. Fourth, according to the analysis of determinants of the transition of unemployed women with disabilities into the labor market using the panel binomial Logit model, the probability of their transition into employed status becomes higher if they have more certificates, if they do not have children under seven, if they are not recipients of the basic livelihood security, if they have had education and training, and if they have used employment services. Fifth, the unemployment experience of women with disabilities has a negative impact on their employment types, wages, and job security. Based on the above-mentioned research results, this study proposes expanding occupational types available for women with disabilities, operating job-preparatory programs for women with disabilities, establishing specialized employment support service centers for women with disabilities, creating a disabled women-friendly environment for education, training and working conditions, expanding various types of jobs, and preparing a legal ground for employment policies on women with disabilities.

For pancreatic islet transplantation, many kinds of polymeric and silicon based immunoisolation filters have been introduced to circumvent immune rejection,. However, these couldn’t show sufficient feasiblility on porosity, accurate cut-off range and bio-fouling effect by immne molecules. In this study, 14.6 nm pore anodic aluminum oxide (AAO) membrane was fabricated using covalently bonded poly-ethylene oxide (PEO), which was verified that the chosen pore diameter had selectivity to block the smallest immune molecule, immunoglobulin G (IgG), having sufficient porosity for glucose, insulin and oxygen to pass through. Also, to check antifouling, IgG adhesion was checked on PEO coated membrane and poly-ethylene glycol coated capsule and tubing components. Encapsulation system was developed using the membranes, sufficiently mantained survival and functionality of transplanted islets We expect that the AAO membrane will contribute immunoisolation in xenogeneic transplantations.
