This paper suggests a control technique of the two axes precision stage. The stage is supported by four flexible spring hinges and driven by two piezoelectric actuators. The dynamic motion of the stage is analysed by the finite element method and identified by the frequency domain modeling technique based on the experimental data. The sliding mode control with integrator is applied to improve the tracking ability of the stage to the complex reference input signal. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed modeling schemes and control algorithm can be used effectively for the two axes stage.
압전소자를 이용한 에너지 수확장치의 수학적 모델과 파워 출력 예측

본 연구는 압전소자와 전기회로가 포함된 외팔보 에너지 수확장치의 수학적 모델을 제안한다. 제안된 모델은 오일러 베르누이 보 이론을 기반으로 해밀턴 정리와 진동파형 기법을 이용하여 유도한다. 이 모델을 이용하여 압전소자의 크기에 따른 발전량 변화, 전기회의 인덕터, 양의 콘덴서, 음의 콘덴서에 의한 발전량의 변화와 생성주파수 대역의 변화, 부하에 따른 발전량을 비교한다. 또한 에너지 수확장치의 최대 출력파워를 가지게 하는 인덕터 값과 부하 값이 존재함을 보이고 인덕터 튜닝법과 부하 튜닝법을 통해 에너지 수확장치의 설계방법을 제시한다. The objective of this research is to develop the mathematical model of an energy harvesting system with piezoelectric device and electric circuit. The proposed model, which is based on Euler-Bernoulli beam theory, is derived by employing Hamilton’s principle. The usefulness of the model is discussed by assessing the results obtained in terms of various design parameters, such as the size of piezoelectric patch or layer, electric circuitry with negative capacitance and mechanical load.
비례 솔레노이드 밸브의 운동해석 및 LQG/LTR 제어

본 논문에서는 솔레노이드 밸브의 동특성 분석 후, 적분기가 추가된 LQG/LTR 제어기를 설계한다. 솔레노이드 밸브의 동특성은 백색잡음 입력 신호에 대한 출력응답을 측정하여 얻은 주파수 응답과 커브피팅을 통해 규명된다. 본 논문에서 적분기가 추가된 LQG/LTR 제어의 목적은 시스템의 응답성을 향상시킬 뿐만 아니라 복잡한 입력신호에 대한 추종 능력도 향상시키는 것이다. 마지막으로 실험을 통해 제어기의 성능이 검증되며, 성능이 향상되었음을 확인할 수 있다. In this study, dynamic analysis of a proportional solenoid valve is performed, and an LQG/LTR controller with an integrator is designed to control the proportional solenoid valve. The dynamic characteristic of a valve is identified using experimental data by employing the frequency-domain modeling technique. The purpose of LQG/LTR control with an integrator is to enhance the system response and to improve the tracking accuracy for a complex input signal. Experimental tests are performed to verify the performance of the controller, and the results prove the high performance of the controller.

A LQG/LTR(linear quadratic Gaussian/loop transfer recovery) controller with an integrator is designed to control the electro-hydraulic positioning system. Without considering the nonlinearity in the dead-zone, computer simulations are performed and show good performances and tracking abilities with the feedback controller based on the linear system model. However, the performance of the closed loop hydraulic positioning system shows big steady-state error in real system because of the dead-zone. In this paper, the feedback controller with a nonlinear compensator is introduced to overcome the dead-zone phenomenon in hydraulic systems. The inverse dead-zone as a nonlinear compensator is used to cancel out the dead-zone phenomenon. Experimental tests are performed to verify the performance of the controller.

This paper presents an inchworm with three piezoelectric actuators. The dynamic stiffness of the inchworm is generally low compared to its driving condition, so mechanical vibration may degenerate the motion accuracy of the inchworm. The dynamic model of inchworm is identified by curve fitting technique based on the experimental frequency response function. For the precision motion control and low residual vibration of inchworm, driving input signal is designed by using cycloid step input and LQG control technique. Experimental result shows that proposed input shaping method is applicable effectively to the inchworm.
반응성 마그네트론 스퍼터링법에 의한 Nickel Oxide 박막 제작 특성에 관한 연구

In this paper, the DE(double erosion) cathode for the reactive magnetron sputtering system is developed for high deposition rate and high target utilization efficiency. The utilization efficiency of the developed DE cathode is 22% higher than that of normal SE(single erosion) cathode. Sputtering process for the nickel oxide thin films with the DE cathode is performed under the following conditions; power with $1kW{\sim}3kW$, pressure with 4mtorr and 8mtorr, oxygen flow ratio with $0%{\sim}80%$. As a result, the hysteresis phenomenon of discharge voltage in 4mtorr is lower than that in 8mtorr and the hysteresis phenomenon of discharge voltage is getting lower as the applied power is getting higher. The structure of cross section and surface roughness of the thin films are observed by FE-SEM and AFM. The structure of cross section of the thin films is columnar and the average surface roughness under oxygen flow ratio of 0%, 52.5% and 65.0% are $2.08{\AA}$, $2.20{\AA}$ and $0.854{\AA}$, respectively.
