염증성 장 질환 동물 모델에서 황금탕과 감초사심탕의 효능 연구

Objectives: This study investigates the mechanism of Hwanggeum-tang (HGT) and Gamchosasim-tang (GST) on inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). Methods: The mice (C57BL/6N) were treated with distilled water and 3% dextran sulfate sodium (DSS) to experimentally induce ulcerative colitis. The mice were divided into 7 groups of (6 mice: normal, negative control, positive control (with sulfasalazine), 4 experimental groups (with HGT and GST, respectively). RAW 264.7 cells were used for cell experiments. The experiment was conducted in two ways: in vitro and in vivo. Results: In the experimental group (HGT, GST) of in vitro experiments, NO production decreased, and significant changes in gene expression and protein activation were observed. The length of the colon recovered in the experimental groups (HGT, GST) of the in vivo experiment was longer than that of the negative control group, and the mucosal barrier was recovered. Sone significant changes in the amount of mRNA expression were partially observed, and significant changes in protein activation also were confirmed. Conclusions: HGT and GST are effective in treating IBD caused by DSS. In the same herbal preparation group, the higher the concentration, the better the experimental effect, and when the same concentration was tested, HGT was more effective than GST. Herbal medicine has a higher antioxidant effect than sulfasalazine, so it is also excellent for cell protection.
영화를 이용한 다단어 표현(Multi-word Expressions) 자각력 향상 연구

The purpose of this paper is two-fold: (a) to describe how to identify English multiword expressions (MWEs) according to the current literature, and (b) to suggest a way for EFL college-level students to enhance their awareness of multi-word expressions through movies. To do this, episode 5 from the miniseries The Bible was chosen as material. Two college students with advanced English volunteered for this experiment, which consisted of 6 stages. In the first stage, subjects were instructed to select their favorite phrases or expressions. In the successive three stages their favorite phrases were analyzed. In the fifth stage, they identified MWEs. In the last stage, they were interviewed. The results showed 62 favorite phrases in the first stage increased to 81 MWEs in the fifth stage. The results also showed they gave their teacher a real insight into MWEs in the figurative category of the fifth stage. In the interview, subject A recognized the importance of MWEs but did not agree with the training about how to identify MWEs. Subject B recognized the importance of MWEs and approved of the training in how to recognize MWEs. Though having different opinions about how to approach MWEs, they had one view in common: MWEs should be learned.
소아에서 폐렴구균 집락률 측정을 위해 비인두 흡인 물의 총 RNA를 이용한 실시간 중합효소 연쇄반응법

목적: 폐렴구균은 주요 비인두 상재균으로, 주위 조직을 침범하여 침습성 감염을 일으킬 수 있어 보균 율에 대한 감시가 중요하다. 본 연구에서는 임상에서 비인두 흡인물로부터 추출하고 남은 RNA를 이용 하여 폐렴구균을 확인할 수 있는 실시간 중합효소 연쇄반응(real-time reverse transcription poly-merase chain reaction [RT-PCR])법을 구축하고, 보균율 측정에 있어서의 정확성과 이점을 확인하고자 하였다. 방법: 2014년 9월부터 10월까지 중앙대학교병원에 입원하여 호흡기 바이러스 RT-PCR 검사를 시행 받은 18세 이하의 소아들로부터 비인두 흡인물을 채취하였다. 먼저 배양법과 genomic DNA (gDNA) 를 이용한 real-time PCR을 시행하여 폐렴구균 검출률의 정확성을 확인하였다. 이 중 처음 20개의 검체 를 이용하여, 고전적인 배양법과 gDNA를 이용한 real-time PCR, 그리고 RNA를 이용한 real-time RT-PCR법을 시행하고 이를 비교 분석하였다. 결과: 총 157개의 검체에서 시행한 real-time PCR 검사는 기존의 배양검사와 일치율이 0.922 (P<0.01, Fisher exact test)로 매우 높았다. 배양검사에서 음성인 133개의 검체는 real-time PCR에서도 모두 음성을 보였다. 24개의 배양 양성 검체 중 21개의 검체는 real-time PCR에서도 양성이었지만, 나머지 검체는 음성 결과를 보였다. 20개의 검체에서 시행한 real-time RT-PCR 검사는 1개 검체를 제외 하고 배양법 및 real-time PCR과 결과가 일치하였다. 한편, 배양법을 시행하고 결과를 확인하기까지 는 총 26.5시간, real-time RT-PCR 검사에는 총 4.5시간이 소요되었다. 결론: 본 연구는 비인두 집락균 확인을 위한 real-time RT-PCR법의 확립과, 폐렴구균 보균율 측정에 있어서의 real-time RT-PCR 검사의 정확성 및 편의성을 보여주었다. Real-time RT-PCR 검사법 은 주요 세균들의 보균율 연구에 있어서 시간과 노력을 줄일 수 있는 좋은 방법이며, 폐렴구균의 역학 자료 수집에 큰 도움이 될 것으로 기대한다. Purpose: Monitoring pneumococcal carriage rates is important. We developed and evaluated the accuracy of a real-time reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) protocol for the detection of Streptococcus pneumoniae . Methods: In October 2014, 157 nasopharyngeal aspirates were collected from patients aged <18 years admitted to Chung-Ang University Hospital. We developed and evaluated a real-time PCR method for detecting S. pneumoniae by comparing culture findings with the results of the real-time PCR using genomic DNA (gDNA). Of 157 samples, 20 specimens were analyzed in order to compare the results of cultures, real-time PCR, and real-time RT-PCR. Results: The concordance rate between culture findings and the results of real-time PCR was 0.922 (P <0.01, Fisher exact test). The 133 culture-negative samples were confirmed to be negative for S. pneumoniae using real-time PCR. Of the remaining 24 culture-positive samples, 21 were identified as S. pneumonia -positive using real-time PCR. The results of real-time RT-PCR and real-time PCR from 20 specimens were consistent with culture findings for all S. pneumoniae -positive samples except one. Culture and real-time RT-PCR required 26.5 and 4.5 hours to perform, respectively. Conclusions: This study established a real-time RT-PCR method for the detection of pneumococcal carriage in the nasopharynx. Real-time RT-PCR is an accurate, convenient, and time-saving method; therefore, it may be useful for collecting epidemiologic data regarding pneumococcal carriage in children.
L1을 활용한 정보처리 활성화 방안 : 영화 콘스탄틴을 중심으로

The purpose of this paper is to suggest a way to effectively memorize utterances in movie scripts. Ekuni, Vaz, and Bueno (2011, p. 333) mentioned that “the depth processing is associated with high levels of retention and long-term traces.” Semantic processing is one example of deeper levels of processing. In this paper, L1 translation is used for deeper levels of processing. Four high-intermediate level college students participated. In the movie Constantine, three types of utterances were chosen: practical expressions, difficult expressions, and touching expressions. Two tests were administered: One immediate recall test and one delayed recall test. Two reports were from the two tests handed in. The results showed that the four students were excellent in both the immediate recall test and the delayed recall test in terms of memory and recall. In the first report, the students mentioned that their memory and recall were based on semantic processing. In the second report, they confessed that they needed repeated practice or a strategy for maintenance of memory. Two students preferred touching expressions, one student preferred practical expressions, and the last one liked all three different types of expressions. In this respect, L1 translation helped deep processing for the different types of expressions in the movie.
해저 채굴용 해양 로봇 해석을 위한 입자법 및 다물체동역학 기반 연성해석

This research presents a co-simulation method of deep-sea excavation operations for Cyber Physics Operation System(CPOS) implementation of marine robots. Multi-body dynamics (MBD) is used to describe the deep-sea excavator, and discrete element method (DEM) is employed to modeling and co-simulation of the excavation operation under seabed. In DEM, the reference bonding force between particles are employed to well describe characteristics of the seabed. Finally, the co-simulation is established by using RecurDyn and EDEM software environments. To validate the system, we compared the results with the seafloor sulfide deposition mining simulation.

A Two Degrees-of-freedom PID controller for dry clutch launch control is proposed in this paper. A simulation of dynamic drivetrain model based on Design of Experiment is executed by selecting adequate output responses which quantify control parameter, feeling of gear shift and shifting time. This process proves that determining parameters of PID controller by DOE enables to increase robustness of controller than determining parameters of PID controller by eidetic method comparing S/N ratio of each method.
지능시스템의 내배엽성 모델링 : 지능적 카드 게임 경기자

본 논문은 제어대상체의 지식을 이용하여 적절한 의사결정을 내리거나 또는 지속적으로 변화하는 주변환경에 적응해 나갈 수 있는 지능시스템 설계를 위한 내배엽성 모델링 방법론을 제시한다. 이러한 지능적 내배엽성 시스템은 의사결정 모델, 지식기반의 내부모델, 그리고 내부모델의 구축모델 등을 기반으로 달성될 수 있다. 학습기능의 모델링을 위하여 수정된 귀납추론 방법과 적응형 전문가 시스템 방법이 제안되었다. 제시된 방법론은 지능적 학습 및 의사결정 기능을 갖춘 지능적 카드경기자 모델링이 예를 통하여 그 가능성을 검증하였다. This paper presents an endomorphic modeling methodology for designing intelligent systems that can determine by itself using its knowledge of the world and adapt itself to continuously changing circumstances. We have developed such an intelligent endomorphic system by integrating the decision making component and knowledge based internal model with internal model construction model. Learning capabilities are established using the modified inductive reasoning and adaptive expert system techniques we developed. Proposed methodology has been successfully applied to a design of intelligent card game players capable of supporting the intelligent learning and decision making.

고령화 사회 진행되고 1언 가구가 늘어나변서 노인들의 치매가 악화되는 경우가 발생하고 있다. 그래서 노인들은 이러한 치매 악화를 예방하기 위해 여가활동을 하며 사람들을 만나고자 한다. 하지만 노인은 인지적, 신체적, 노화가 진행되어 활동이 큰 여가활동에 제약이 따르고 규칙이 복잡하고 친숙하지 못한 기존의 게임을 배우기 어렵다. 본 연구는 문헌조사와 현장조사 및 전문가 인터뷰등의 의견을 종합, 분석하여 새로운 형태의 치매 예방을 위한 게임을 개발하였다. 또한 한국의 전통적인 소재와 이미지를 활용하여 노인들이 간단한 규칙을 통해 쉽게 배우도록 하고, 여러 사람과 어울리변서 사회적 상호 작용 및 두뇌 활동을 촉진 시킬수 있는 보드게임과 신체적, 인지적 제약을 고려한 보드게임 도구를 제안한다.
