        ■ Objectives The purpose of this clinical study is to evaluate the effect of Sosiho-tang(小柴胡湯) on a patient with Central fever due to pontine hemorrhage. ■ Methods A patient with central fever diagnosed with pontine hemorrhage was treated with herbal medication, acupuncture, electro-acupuncture(EA). Then we evaluated the improvement by average and peak of each day's body temperature. ■ Results Decrease of average and peak of each day's body temperature were observed after taking Sosiho-tang(小柴胡湯). ■ Conclusion This study proved the effect of moxibustion treatment on left side paresthesia due to central post-stroke pain.

        Claude's syndrome으로 인한 안검하수 및 운동실조에 대한 한방 복합 치료 치험 1례

        Objective: We describe the case of an 84-year-old man with a midbrain infarction causing pupil sparing oculomotor nerve palsy, with ipsilateral cerebellar ataxia diagnosed as Claude's syndrome. Methods: The patient was treated with Korean medicine, including herbal medicine, acupuncture, and electro-acupuncture, during 45 days of hospitalization. Improvements in the patient's symptoms and changes in ptosis were evaluated using the Korean version of the Scale for the Assessment and Rating of Ataxia (SARA). Results: After 45 days of treatment with the Korean medicine, the patient's symptoms, including ataxia and ptosis, improved. Conclusions: This study suggests that the treatment with Korean medicine was effective in aiding the patient's recovery.

        Feeding Effects of Halyomopha halys (Hemiptera: Pentatomidae) on Fruit Drop and Decay Rate in Mandarin Citrus Orchards

        본 연구는 만다린 감귤에 대한 썩덩나무노린재 흡즙이 낙과 및 저장 중 부패에 미치는 영향을 검토하기 위하여 실시되었다. 과실 착색 전 흡즙은 심한 낙과를 유발하였으나 착색 후 흡즙은 낙과율이 낮았다. 하지만, 부패유발 측면에서는 수확과실 및 착색전후 과실에 대한 썩덩나무노린재 흡즙이 저장 중에 부패를 유발하지 않았다. 많은 감귤농가에서는 썩덩나무노린재로 인한 낙과와 부패를 방지하기 위하여 생육후기 살충제를 자주 살포하고 있기 때문에 본 결과는 생육후기 이 해충 관리에 유용한 정보를 제공할 것이다. This study was conducted to examine the feeding effect of Halyomorpha halys ($St{\aa}l$) (Hemiptera: Pentatomidae) on the fruit drop and decay rate of Mandarin citrus fruits (Citrus unshiu). The feeding of H. halys before fruit coloring caused a severe fruit drop, while the feeding after fruit coloring induced a low level of fruit drop. However, the feeding of H. halys before or after fruit coloring did not induce significant fruit decay during cold storage. The results are expected to be useful in managing H. hlays of late season mandarine, because citrus farmers follow calendar spray to prevent fruit drop and fruit decay.

        온도에 따른 화살깍지벌레 여름세대 성충의 산란특성

        화살깍지벌레 여름성충의 산란수를 항온조건에서 조사하였다. 총 산란수는 온도가 증가함에 따라 $29^{\circ}C$까지는 증가하였고 그 후 감소하였다. 최대 산란수는 암컷당 평균 $29^{\circ}C$에서 254.5개로 나타났다. 성충은 주기적인 산란활동을 보였으나, 그 형태는 온도에 따라 달랐다. 처리온도 $25^{\circ}C$와 $29^{\circ}C$에서는 3개 이상의 산란주기가 나타났다. 다른 온도에서는 두 번째 산란주기가 불완전하거나 확실하지 않았다. 첫 번째 산란주기 산란수는 온도에 따라 유의한 차이를 보였으며 $25^{\circ}C$와 $29^{\circ}C$에서 많았다. 또한 이후 산란주기의 산란수도 $13^{\circ}C$, $17^{\circ}C$ 및 $21^{\circ}C$에서는 $25^{\circ}C$와 $29^{\circ}C$ 보다 낮았다. 부화약충의 암컷 : 수컷 성비는 $13^{\circ}C$, $17^{\circ}C$, $25^{\circ}C$, $29^{\circ}C$, $33^{\circ}C$에서 각각 1 : 0.48, 1 : 4.79, 1 : 2.48, 1 : 1.85, 1 : 0.56로 조사되었다. The fecundity of summer generation adults of arrowhead scale, Unaspis yanonensis (Kuwana) (Hemiptera: Diaspididae), was examined at constant temperatures. The total fecundity increased up to $29^{\circ}C$ and declined thereafter. Total fecundity reached a maximum of 254.5 eggs (crawlers) per female at $29^{\circ}C$. Females showed periodic oviposition activity but the pattern differed with temperature. Three or more oviposition cycles were occurred at 25 and $29^{\circ}C$. At the other temperatures, the 2nd oviposition cycle was reduced or obscure. And oviposition cycle after the 2nd cycle was not obvious at low or high temperatures. The fecundity of the 1st cycle was significantly different according to temperature, showing higher fecundity at 25 and $29^{\circ}C$. Fecundity after 1st cycle at 13, 17 and $21^{\circ}C$ were lower than at 25 and $29^{\circ}C$. The sex ratios of hatched nymphs in terms of female : male in 13, 17, 25, 29 and $33^{\circ}C$ were 1 : 0.48, 1 : 4.79, 1 : 2.48, 1 : 1.85 and 1 : 0.56, respectively.

        다발성 뇌경색으로 인한 거짓연수마비 환자의 연하장애 및 어삽에 유효하였던 한방 치료 1례 - 반하후박탕을 중심으로

        Objective: The purpose of this clinical study is to report the effect of Banhahoobak-tang in the case of a 57-year-old woman with multiple cerebral infarction causing dysphagia and dysarthria diagnosed as pseudobulbar palsy. Methods: A patient was treated with Korean medicine, including herbal medication, acupuncture, and language therapy. We focused on the effect of Banhahoobak-tang by evaluating improvements in symptoms by examining times of aspiration and changes in Speech Mechanism Screening Test scores. Results: After three months of Korean medicine treatment and language therapy, there was improvement in the patient's symptoms, including dysphagia and dysarthria. Conclusions: This study suggests that Korean medicine treatment could be effective for improving the symptoms of pseudobulbar palsy in patients. Specifically, herbal medicine (Banhahoobak-tang) could be an effective choice for treating dysphagia.

        엔트로피를 응용한 바디아트 작품 제작 연구

        Entropy is a unit of the degree of disorder, and the amount of entropy is characterized by the thermodynamic theory, in which it is said to increase irreversibly in all the phenomena of material-energy, from micro-thermal motion to the human environment, and even up to the energy of the Earth. In this study entropy was grafted into the contemporary art fields of painting, sculpture, and architecture, categorized into the perspectives of producers and receivers, and through this, the characteristics of entropy were analyzed to find the phenomenon of entropy appearing in multiple dimensions. The purpose of producing body art works is to derive and classify the characteristics of entropy appearing in contemporary art in the process of body art work production and to apply the characteristics to produce body art work. The research method of this study combines literature research and empirical research. As a method of literature research, it examines entropy, contemporary art, and body art through data collection and analysis of domestic and international prior studies, books, and newspaper articles, and targets catalogs, magazines, and web pages of exclusive works by contemporary artists. By producing 12 pieces of work using the characteristics of entropy, body art, like other art fields, has the entropy characteristics of order, disorder, diversity, versatility, atypical, usefulness, and complexity. It can found that the characteristics of entropy can be expressed in the work through the materialization of body art and art behavior of visualization.

        Sb 첨가에 따른 VWTi 촉매의 암모니아 선택적 촉매 환원(SCR)을 통한 질소산화물 저감

        NH<sub>3</sub>-SCR에서 상용촉매로 사용되고 있는 VWTi (VOx/WO<sub>3</sub>-TiO<sub>2</sub>)는 300~400 ℃에서 우수한 탈질성능을 나타내지만 300 ℃ 이하 저온에서는 효율이 저하되는 문제가 있다. 저온 탈질효율을 높이기 위하여 promoter를 첨가한 촉매 연구는 꾸준히 진행되고 있으나 촉매의 저온 탈질효율 증진원인과 촉매특성에 관한 연구는 미비한 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 VWTi에 Sb(antimony)를 첨가함으로써 300 ℃ 이하의 NH<sub>3</sub>-SCR 반응에서 탈질 성능이 10% 이상 증진되는 것을 확인하였고, 이 때 외부확산/내부확산에 의한 영향을 배제하고자 공간속도와 촉매입자 크기를 제어하였다. 또한 Sb의 첨가 유·무에 따른 촉매특성을 BET, TEM/EDS, O<sub>2</sub>-TPD, H<sub>2</sub>-TPR, DRIFTs 분석을 수행하여 고찰하였다. Sb의 첨가는 촉매의 표면 흡착 산소 종을 증가시켰으며, 이에 따라 저온에서 촉매의 산화·환원(redox) 특성이 증진되어 우수한 탈질성능을 나타내는 것으로 판단되었다. VWTi, which is used as a commercial catalyst in NH<sub>3</sub>-SCR, exhibits excellent denitrification performance at 300 to 400 ℃, but there is a problem that efficiency decreases at low temperatures below 300 ℃. Research on catalysts containing promoter to increase low-temperature denitrification efficiency is steadily progressing. However, research on the cause of the improvement in low-temperature denitrification efficiency of the catalyst and the catalyst properties is insufficient. In this study, it was confirmed that by adding Sb to VWTi, denitrification performance was improved by more than 10% in NH<sub>3</sub>-SCR reaction below 300 ℃. At this time, the space velocity and the size of the catalyst particles were controlled to exclude the influence of external/internal diffusion. In addition, the catalytic properties according to the presence or absence of Sb were investigated by performing BET, TEM/EDS, O<sub>2</sub>-TPD, H<sub>2</sub>-TPR and DRIFTs analysis. It was judged that the addition of Sb increased the adsorbed oxygen species on the surface of the catalyst, thereby enhancing the redox properties of the catalyst at low temperature and exhibiting excellent denitrification performance.

      • 고추 품종별 물리성과 수확기 탈실효율 분석

        본 연구의 목적은 품종별로 고추의 물리성 및 탈실효율 측정에 대한 적정 방법과 유의성에 대해 알아보는 것이다. 고추 시료는 청양 농가에서 많이 재배하고 있는 12종의 고추를 사용하였다. 고추의 물리성으로 고추 식물체의 초장, 초폭, 줄기 길이, 줄기 직경, 과실 길이, 과실 직경, 과실 무게, 주당 과실수, 숙과정도, 함수율, 탈실방향 90° 탈실력, 탈실방향 180° 탈실력 총 12가지 항목을 측정하였다. 탈실부 측정 실험은 탈실효율, 정상과율, 줄기부착과율, 손상과율 총 4가지의 항목으로 측정하였다. 측정 실험결과, 고추의 물리성에서 줄기 길이, 줄기 직경, 과실 길이, 과실 직경, 주당 과실수, 숙과정도, 함수율, 탈실방향 180° 탈실력에서 품종 간 유의성이 존재하는 것으로 나타났으며, 탈실부 측정 실험에서는 탈실효율을 제외한 정상과율, 줄기부착과율, 손상과율에서 품종 간 유의성이 존재하는 것으로 나타났다. The purpose of this research was to find out appropriate methods for a pepper harvester by analyzing physical properties and harvest efficiency of 12 commercial pepper cultivars. We measured total 12 physical properties of pepper plants and fruits, including the length and width of pepper plants, the length and diameter of stems, and the length, diameter, and weight of fruits, the number of fruits on each plant, the ripeness ratio, moisture content, and tensile forces of 90° and 180°. Performance of picking head part of the harvester was analyzed by measuring the harvest efficiency and the number of whole fruits, fruits connected with twig, and damaged fruits. As a result, this study revealed that the physical properties and the harvest efficiency of peppers were significantly different among pepper cultivars.
