This study was conducted to investigate the effects of microbial fertilizers on the yields of Leaf lettuce, chemical components of soil,and the microbial floras. Six microbial fertilizers,MPK+Husk+Palma, Husk+Palma, MPK+Compost, Compost, Bio livestock cattle system (BLCS) cattle dropping, and Tomi, were used. All of the microbial fertilizers were tend to increase yields of Leaf lettuce, especially MPK+Husk+Palma treatment was most effective. In a chemical components of soil, concentrations of K, Mg were increased with Tomi treatment, however, the other concentrations of soil chemical components were not different. In a microbial floras of soil, Tomi, Husk+Palma, and MPK+Husk+Palma treated plots increased in numbers of total bacteria and bacillus. Tomi treated plot increased in numbers of actinomycetes and fungi, also. The other microbial floras of soil were not different, however. The microbial fertilizers may affect the useful microbial floras, therefore, it would be increase yield of Leaf lettuce treated with them.

Light transmittance of glass, PC, PET, and PE house were 64.7, 61.3, 60.7 and 56.4%, respectively. They were totally lower than transparency of their covering materials because of shading with frame and equipments. The best shading part of greenhouse recoded light transmittance of 36-40% was below gutter. Temperature in greenhouse from 21:00 to 08:00 was high in order of glass, PC, PET, and PE house according to accumulated heat energy in soil. The results of investigation for green pepper canopy and growth, plant height and node length in the glass house were longer than any other greenhouse. But the green pepper canopy for group production was best in the glass house because of higher light transmittance and diffussion of greenhouse. Therefore branch angle and canopy width of green pepper in glass house were more wide, and number of organs like leaf, stem and fruit of green pepper in the glass house were more than any other greenhouse.

There are many materials and agents in soft plastics film for Protected Cultivation. These are Polyethylene, Ethylene-vinylacetate, Polyvinylchloride ect. in materials and Stabilizer, Surfactant, Antihazier ect. in agents. This study was conducted to know characteristics of light transmission, minimum temperature in winter and tomato growth, yield. The results are summarized as follows ; 1. Changsu was shown the most stable change of contact angle which was influenced water droplet in inner film surface. 2. Light transmission was decreased in proportion of increasing contact angle after 10 months. 3. Effect of temperature maintenance in Samjung PE was 27% higher than PE. 4. Light transmission and efficienty of Samjung PE were 78.0% and 72.8%, it was 6.3% and 3.5% higher than PE(control), respectively. 5. Samjung PE was superior to any other materials in view of tomato growth and yield.

This study was carried out to investigate the effect of soil microorganisms on yield of radish (Raphanus sativus L.). Six soil microorganisms, MPK+Husk+Palma, Husk+Palma, MPK+Compost, Compost, Bio livestock cattle system (BLCS) cattle dropping, and Tomi, were used. All of soil microorganisms were very effective to increase yields of radish. Especially, MPK+Husk+Palma treated plot was the most effective than any other plots. As a result of analysis of plant chemical components, compost treatment showed higher concentration of Mn than other soil microorganism treatments. In a chemical components of soil, concentrations of P and Mg were increased with Tomi treatment, and Na was increased with BLCS cattle dropping treatment. The other concentrations of plant and soil chemical components were not different, however. In a microbial properties of soil, Tomi, Husk+Palma, and MPK+Husk+Palma treated plots increased in the number of total bacteria and bacilli. Tomi treated plot increased in the number of actinomycetes and Fungi. The other microbial properties of soil were not different. It would be assumed that yield increase of radish might be due to the beneficial microbial properties, therefore, those would increase yields of radish.
