        고령자 ADL 개선을 위한 기능적 운동 분석 및 선정

        Muscular strength in the elderly is important factors deciding on functional state in daily lives, and functional state shows a health condition. Resistance training to prevent loss of muscle mass and muscle fiber atrophy due to aging can increase muscle mass and strength. Recently, resistance training to improve muscular strength and endurance has been actively researched. Resistance training increases activities of daily living and ability of the elderly, which makes healthy senescent. ADL/IADL is suitable for measuring health condition of the elderly. In this study, target muscles of resistance training were chosen through a correlation analysis between ADLs and elementary motion, and we presented a procedure to select target muscles and exercise equipments. This procedure consist of a survey method that were described detailed motion of ADL/IADL. So we should be to extract resistance training machine to improve functions of regarding fundamental motion. Result of study may improve daily life activities of the elderly through objectives and scientific approaches. Furthermore, it will be helpful to studies about various fields of the elderly.

        고령여성의 근저항성트레이닝 후 트레이닝 중지가 신체조성과 Senior Fitness Test에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was to evaluate effects of detraining after muscular progressive resistance training on body composition and senior fitness test in the elderly women. Subjects were divided 2 group(20-30%RM low intensity group, 40~50%RM middle intensity group) from 14 elderly women. The subjects performed muscular progressive resistance training for 12 weeks and detraining for 12 weeks effects on body composition (LBM, body fat, %body fat), senior fitness tests(30second chair stand, arm curl, 6-minute walk, chair sit & reach, back stretch, 244 cm up & go, grip strength) have been evaluated. Analysis of the body composition, Both low intensity group and middle intensity group wasn`t significantly difference. Analysis of the senior fitness test, 30second chair stand, arm curl, 6-minute walk, chair sit & reach(right) showed significantly decreased detraining after muscular progressive resistance training in 20~30%RM low intensity group and 30 second chair stand, arm curl showed significantly decreased detraining after muscle resistance training in 40~50%RM middle intensity group. To conclude, detraining for 12 weeks after muscular progressive resistance training in the elderly women had a tendency to decrease of some SFT and intensity of muscular progressive training had influence on the principal factor of decrease of SFT.

      • 스포츠인체모델 개발을 위한 기반기술 개발

        본 연구는 한국인 스포츠 인체모델을 개발하기 위한 기반기술에 대한 연구로서, 이는 해부학적, 역학적, 생리학적 파트로 구성하였다. 해부학적 파트는 한국인의 체형을 모델링하기 위하여 성별, 연령별 기준에 따른 신체조성 DB와 인체분절계수에 대한 예측모델발로 구성하였다. 역학적 모델 파트는 운동 동작에서 나타나는 생체역학적 측정요소에 대한 데이터베이스와 운동기구 사용 시 인체의 반응을 예측할 수 있는 예측모델로 구성하였다. 생리학적 모델 파트는 한국인 체력요인 데이터베이스 구축과 운동기구 사용 시 신체의 변화를 나타내는 예측모델 개발로 구성하였다. 또한 운동기구 사용에 따른 인체영향 평가를 위해 올바른 데이터 수집과 측정, 평가를 위한 평가 표준지침을 개발하고, 이를 통해 제품 및 프로그램의 효과를 평가할 수 있는 기반을 마련하였다. 스포츠 인체모델은 운동 기구 및 프로그램의 개발 및 운동효과를 예측하기 위한 핵심기술로 활용될 수 있을 것이다. The purpose of this study is the technology for development of sports human model of Korean people. Sports human models consists of anatomical, biomechanical and physiological parts. Anatomical parts are database of body composition and prediction models. The database was developed body segment parameter for kinematical modeling in Korean. Prediction models are the algorithms for kinematical characteristics. Biomechanical parts means database of biomechanical measure data during sports activities. And they are also prediction model for estimate of biomechanical responses using sports equipment. Physiological parts are database for Korean people's physical fitness and algorithm for predict of human-body effects during training. Furthermore, we developed a guideline on measure and evaluation standards of physical fitness factor, so could be evaluate the performance and quality of sports equipment using guideline.

      • 곡면형 무동력 트레드밀의 곡률반경에 따른 주행특성 비교

        This investigation was undertaken to examine the biomechanical responses during walking and running on a Non-Motorized Curved Treadmill(NMCT). In this study, three different radius of curvature(2500㎜, 3000㎜, 3500㎜) of the NMCT were used to treadmill walking and running according to the three different speeds(70, 110, 170 step/min), and the speeds were controled by cadence. Subjects walked for three minutes with breaks between trials of speed and curvature to prevent fatigue. Twenty-seven retroreflective markers affixed to the full body were used to record three-dimensional kinematics(60Hz, Osprey, Motion Analysis Corp., USA) on the three different curvature of the NMCT with three different speeds. The step length was increased, and initial contact position on the treadmill belt has moved backward at lesser curvature. But the step width and deviation of center of body mass in the Anterior-Posterior direction were increased at the decreased radius of curvature, which mean the stability of walking and running on the NMCT was decreased. Consequently, the curvature needs larger radius to make stable walking and running, on the other hand, it needs lesser radius to walk and run easily on the NMCT.

        주성분분석을 이용한 한국인 체력연령 추정에 관한 연구

        The purpose of this study is to estimate the health related physical fitness age using principal component analysis in Korean adults. Method of physical fitness age was suggested using correlation analysis, one-way ANOVA and principal component analysis based on physical fitness test in Korean. Six hundred thirty healthy people were volunteered to participate in the study. Physical fitness status were analyzed consider age groups and trend of physical fitness status by age were identified from results of physical fitness test. Minitab R16.0 was used for statistical analysis. Eight items were determined through correlation analysis. Principal component analysis was used for estimation of physical fitness age. The first principal component was interpreted as health related physical fitness age and principal component scores were calculated with a high correlation to age. Multiple regression analysis was used for estimation of the principal component scores. The principal component scores were converted by the mean and standard deviation of chronobiological age. The converted principal component scores were finally revised by using Z-score. Equations for estimation of physical fitness age were developed. Normality test using Ryan-Joiner test and cross validity analysis were used for verification. As a result, the prediction equation based on principal component analysis was found to obtain significant results. From the results, it could be utilized for evaluation of physical fitness test and development of application.

      • 착석자세 모니터링 시스템 개발을 위한 착석자세 추정 연구

        Posture correcting system applies to the office chair that monitoring a sitting posture and send feedback to the user at real time basis. In the previous study, pressure sensors has been equipped both on the backrest and the seat pan to estimate sitting posture from five different posture types. In this preliminary study, posture detecting experiment has performed only using seat pressure sensors for reducing product cost. A subject was seated on the seat pressure mat and asked to change posture during measurement of the load at four divided sectors. The result says that the percentage of total force on seat pan compared with body weight (%BW) is a suitable index for assessing whether the users back lean against the backrest or not. Consequently, five different major sitting postures could be detected only using seat pressure sensors. The posture measuring technique is expected to be applied to the posture monitoring chair with resonable price.

        무동력 트레드밀, 동력 트레드밀과 지상에서 달리기 운동 시 근 활성도와 근 피로도 비교

        The purpose of this study was to measure the muscle activity and muscle fatigue of the trunk and lower extremity muscles during running on the Non-motorized Treadmill, Motorized Treadmill and Overground. In 15 healthy male, we compared muscle activity and muscle fatigue during running exercise with a constant distance from a Non-motorized Treadmill, Motorized Treadmill and Overground with self selected constant velocity. We will identify the characteristics of each exercise condition and use it as the basic data for selecting the most suitable exercise condition for the purpose such as training, conditioning, rehabilitation in the future. This study suggests that the characteristics of each exercise condition are understood by comparing the muscle activity and muscle fatigue during Non-motorized Treadmill, Motorized Treadmill and Overground, In future studies, more data will be collected by using various age groups and various speeds. Based on this, we will be able to present effective exercise. The muscle activity and muscle fatigue of trunk and lower extremity muscles were different in exercise condition and exercise period. However, there was no significant difference in all exercise conditions and exercise periods. This suggests that various variables such as subject, exercise condition, and exercise intensity should be considered as a result of contradiction with previous studies.

      • 접이식 자전거 힌지체결기구 유형에 따른 체결력 분석

        The hinge mechanism on folding bicycle is one of the most important design factors, which allows the bicycle frame to fold and to make size reduction. The hinge mechanism contains clamping mechanism which controls locking and release of frame rotation. Hinge and clamping mechanism is critical to the cycling safety and it affects usability and appearance also. But the study on the bicycle hinge mechanism has not been performed. In this study concept analysis of clamping function was carried out in order to enhance understanding of the hinge mechanism and three types of clamping mechanism were suggested. The force shifting procedure from the grasping force to the clamping force was analyzed and the amount of camping force was calculated at each types of mechanism. We expect this study contributes to the improvement of usability and appearance on folding bicycle.
