        Silicon solar cell has optical losses, which can be reduced using texture structure and anti-reflection coatings. In general, texture structure is made by chemical etching or lithography process. But these are unsuitable for multi-crystalline silicon substrates because multi-crystalline silicon has not uniform orientation. Anti-reflection coating is made by vacuum equipments such as CVD, but the vacuum processing is very complicated and costly. It is well known that porous silicon acting as an anti-reflection coating reduces optical losses. Playing several roles like selective emitter and passivation as well as Anti-reflection coating in solar cells, porous silicon can be improved cell efficiency effectively. Porous silicon is formed by anodization and can be obtained in an electrolyte with hydrofluoric acid (HF-C₂H₅OH-H₂O) by two methods : electrochemical etching and chemical etching. In this paper, we produced porous silicon by electrochemical method.

        Two methods that can reduce reflectance in solar cells are surface texturing and anti-reflection coating. Wet chemical etching is a typical method that surface texturing of multi-crystalline silicon. Two kinds of silicon surface texturization of multi-crystalline silicon obtained by wet chemical etching are investigated in view of implementation in the solar cell processing. The first one was the acid texturization of saw damage on the surface of multi-crystalline silicon. The second one was porous texturization prepared by double-step chemical etching after KOH saw damage layer was previously removed. These methods of surface texturing are realized by chemical etching in acid solutions HF-HNO₃-H₂O or HF-HNO₃-CH₃COOH. In this solutions we can reduce reflectance spectra by simple process etching of multi-crystalline silicon surface. We have obtained reflectance of 26.74% in 400~1100㎚ from acidic chemical etching after KOH saw damage removal. This result is about 8% less than just saw damage removal substrate. The surface morphology observed by microscope and scanning electron microscopy (SEM).

      • 결정질 실리콘 태양전지에 적용하기 위한 도금법으로 형성환 Ni/Cu 전극에 관한 연구

        An evaporated Ti/Pd/Ag contact system is most widely used to make high-efficiency silicon solar cells, however, the system is not cost effective due to expensive materials and vacuum techniques. Commercial solar cells with screen-printed contacts formed by using Ag paste suffer from a low fill factor and a high shading loss because of high contact resistance and low aspect ratio. Low-cost Ni and Cu metal contacts have been formed by using electroless plating and electroplating techniques to replace the Ti/Pd/Ag and screen-printed Ag contacts. Ni/Cu alloy is plated on a silicon substrate by electro-deposition of the alloy from an acetate electrolyte solution, and nickel-silicide formation at the interface between the silicon and the nickel enhances stability and reduces the contact resistance. It was, therefore, found that nickel-silicide was suitable for high-efficiency solar cell applications. The Ni contact was formed on the front grid pattern by electroless plating followed by anneal ing at 380{sim}400?C for 15{sim}30 min at N_{2} gas to allow formation of a nickel-silicide in a tube furnace or a rapid thermal processing(RTP) chamber because nickel is transformed to NiSi at 380{sim}400?C. The Ni plating solution is composed of a mixture of NiCl_{2} as a main nickel source. Cu was electroplated on the Ni layer by using a light induced plating method. The Cu electroplating solution was made up of a commercially available acid sulfate bath and additives to reduce the stress of the copper layer. The Ni/Cu contact was found to be well suited for high-efficiency solar cells and was successfully formed by using electroless plating and electroplating, which are more cost effective than vacuum evaporation. In this paper, we investigated low-cost Ni/Cu contact formation by electroless and electroplating for crystalline silicon solar cells.

        It is important to reduce optical losses from front surface reflection to improve the efficiency of crystalline silicon solar cells. Surface texturing by isotropic etching with acid solution based on HF and HNO₃ is one of the promising methods that can reduce surface reflectance. Anisotropic texturing with alkali solution is not suitable for multicrystalline silicon wafers because of its various grain orientations. In this paper, we textured multicrystalline silicon wafers by simple wet chemical etching using acid solution to reduce front surface reflectance. After that, surface morphology of textured wafer was observed by Scanning Electron Microscope(SEM) and Atomic Force Microscope(AFM), surface reflectance was measured in wavelength from 400nm to 1000nm. We obtained 29.29% surface reflectance by isotropic texturing with acid solution in wavelength from 400nm to 1000nm for fabrication of multicrystalline silicon solar cells.

        Acid Texturing에 의한 태양전지용 다결정 실리콘 기판의 표면 반사율 감소

        To improve efficiency of solar cells, it is important to make a light trapping structure to reduce surface reflectance for increasing absorption of sun light within the solar cells. One of the promising methods that can reduce surface reflectance is isotropic texturing with acid solution based on hydrofluoric acid(HF), nitric acid($HNO_3$), and organic additives. Anisotropic texturing with alkali solution is not suitable for multicrystalline silicon wafers because of its different grain orientation. Isotropic texturing with acid solution can uniformly etch multicrystalline silicon wafers unrelated with grain orientation, so we can get low surface reflectance. In this paper, the acid texturing solution is made up of only HF and $HNO_3$ for easy controlling the concentration and low cost compared to acid solution with organic additives. $HNO_3$ concentration and dipping time were varied to find the condition of minimum surface reflectance. Textured surfaces were observed Scanning Electron Microscope(SEM) and surface reflectance were measured. The best result of arithmetic mean(wavelength from 400 nm to 1000 nm) reflectance with acid texturing is 4.64 % less than alkali texturing.

        도시지역 일부 성인 여성들의 보완대체요법 이용과 건강증진활동

        본 연구는 도시지역 일부 여성들의 대체요법 사용 특성과 건강증진활동에 대한 인식도, 태도 및 실천을 알아보고, 건강증진활동에 대한 인식도, 태도 및 실천에 영향을 미치는 요인을 규명해 보고자 실시하였다. 조사대상은 경기도내 도시지역에서 5년 이상 거주하고 있는 30세 이상 성인 여성 321명이고 2016년 5월 1일부터 2016년 6월 30일까지의 기간 동안에 구조화된 무기명 자기기입식 설문지를 이용하였다. 주요 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 대상자의 보완대체요법 사용 특성은 보완대체요법을 사용하는 대상자는 65.4% 로 나타났고 수기요법과 약초요법을 많이 사용하는 것으로 나타났다. 건강증진활동에 대한 인식도는 연령, 학력, 월수입, 보완대체요법을 사용하는 군, 보완대체요법 사용 후 만족, 보완대체요법 사용 이유가 몸에 좋기 때문 등이 유의하게 높았다. 건강증진활동 인식도에 영향을 미치는 요인으로는 연령, 학력, 월수입, 대체요법 사용여부 및 보완대체요법 사용 후 만족도가 유의하였고 이들의 설명력은 39.3%이었다. 건강증진활동 태도에 영향을 미치는 요인으로는 연령, 학력, 결혼상태, 월수입, 보완대체요법 사용여부 및 보완대체요법 사용 후 만족도가 유의하였고 이들의 설명력은 32.5%이었다. 건강증진활동 실천에 영향을 미치는 요인으로는 결혼상태, 직업유무 및 보완대체요법 사용여부가 유의하였고 이들의 설명력은 28.2%이었다. 본 연구의 결과를 바탕으로 성인여성의 건강을 유지하고 삶의 질을 향상시키기 위하여 보완대체요법과 관계되는 추후 계속적인 연구와 보완대체요법의 과학적인 효과검증의 필요성을 제언한다. The purpose of this study was to investigate the general characteristics of use of complementary and alternative medicine(CAM). and awareness, attitude and practice of health promotion activities of some adult women in urban areas and to identify the factors affecting awareness, attitude and practice of health promoting activities. We especially focused on the factors that affected their awareness, attitudes, and practice levels. The subjects were 321 adult women who had lived in the Gyeonggi-do area for more than 5 years. The survey was conducted using a structured anonymous self-administrated questionnaire from May 1, 2016 to June 30, 2016. Multiple regression analysis showed that the following factors significantly affected awareness of health-promoting activities: age, education, monthly income, usage of CAM and satisfaction level after using CAM. The explanatory power of these variables was 39.3%. The factors that significantly affected attitudes about health-promoting activities were age, education, marital status, monthly income, usage of CAM, and satisfaction level. The explanatory power of these variables was 32.5%. The factors that significantly affected practice levels of health-promoting activities were marital status, employment status, and usage of CAM. The explanatory power of these variables was 28.2%. Based on the results of this study, we suggest the necessity of further research and complementary alternative therapies related to CAM to improve the quality of life and to maintain the health of adult women.
