        KBC 비구조요소 내진설계 하중

        Simple 3, 10, and 30-story buildings with a nonstructural element which is located at roof or near the middle of the building height are selected. Based on 2009 Korean Building Code, the seismic design force applied at the nonstructural element is evaluated. Response spectrum analysis is conducted with the design response acceleration spectrum of 2009 Korean Building Code and the analytical response is compared with the seismic design force from the Code. Furthermore, an artificial earthquake based on Korean design response acceleration spectrum and the 50% intensity of El Centro earthquake, which can be considered as the maximum future earthquake possibly occurring in Korea, are selected to conduct time history analysis. When the period of the nonstructural element is shorter than 0.06 second or longer than that of the 1st period of each building, the Code equations of seismic design force for nonstructural element seems to be appropriate. However, the period of the nonstructural element is close to the one of the building's higher mode periods including the 1st period, seismic force of the nonstructural element might exceed the Code specified seismic design force.

        면진장치 들림 효과를 고려한 면진된 골조의 구조 거동 평가

        적층고무 면진장치의 전단강성 뿐만 아니라 인장강성 및 압축강성을 실험적으로 구한 후 비선형 해석 프로그램을 이용하여 면진장치를 모델링 하였다. 수평력을 받는 면진된 골조의 면진장치에 전도에 의한 인장응력이 발생되게 하기 위하여 큰 초기변위를 부여한 자유진동 실험을 해석적으로 수행하였다. 적층고무 면진장치는 인장에 약하기 때문에 면진장치에서의 들림 현상을 해석적으로 구하기 위하여 면진장치의 수직방향 강성들이 해석 모델에 적절히 반영되어야 한다. After obtaining tensile and compressive stiffness as well as shear stiffness of elastomeric seismic isolator experimentally, those stiffness were modeled analytically using nonlinear computer program. To induce tensile stress due to overturning in the seismic isolators of an isolated frame for horizontal force, free vibration simulations generated by large initial displacement were conducted. Since elastomeric seismic isolator is weak for tensile stress, the axial stiffness of isolators shall be included properly in the analytical model to evaluate the uplift phenomenon of elastomeric seismic isolator.

        RC 골조의 내진설계에서 보 모멘트의 수직방향 재분배

        중진 지역에 있는 RC 골조의 횡하중에 대한 설계에서 저층부에 있는 보와 기둥의 강도는 상층부의 강도보다 커야만 한다. 그러나 횡하중에 대한 보의 설계 모멘트를 골조의 수평방향뿐만 아니라 수직방향으로 재분배 시킬 수 있고 그 결과 모든 보의 강도를 같게 할 수 있다. 본 논문은 최대한 많은 층의 보 휨 강도를 동일하게 만들기 위한 수직방향 보 모멘트 재분배의 영향을 살펴보는데 있다. 2경간-6층 RC 골조를 수직방향 모멘트 재분배를 고려한 경우와 고려치 않은 경우로 각각 설계하고 이들의 내진성능을 정적 비선형 한계하중 해석법과 동적 비선형 시간이력 해석법을 이용하여 구하였다. 해석결과 수직방향으로 보의 모멘트를 재분배하면 재분배 한 크기만큼 증가된 연성도를 요구하지만, 이 추가적인 요구는 상세설계가 잘된 RC 부재의 연성도 능력보다 작다. For the lateral load resistance of a RC frame in a medium risk seismic zone, the strength of lower story beams and columns should be larger than those of the upper stories. However, the lateral loads can be accommodated by redistributing design beam moments vertically as well as horizontally so all beams end up with identical strengths. This paper looks at the impact of the vertical redistribution of beam moments to provide identical beam strength over as many floors as possible. Two-bay six-story RC frame was designed with and without vertical beam moment redistribution and its seismic performance were evaluated by using push-over limit analysis and by non-linear time history dynamic analysis. Analytical results show that with the use of vertical beam moment redistribution the increase in the ductility demand is similar to the proportion of moment redistribution applied, but this additional demand is below the ductility capacity of well detailed RC members.

        非定型 構造物의 비틀림 저감을 위한 摩擦振子시스템의 適用

        The purpose of this study is to investigate the applicability of Friction Pendulum System (FPS) to reduce the torsional<br/> behavior of asymmetric structures subjected to earthquake loading. To achieve this goal, an one bay-three story shear building<br/> was selected. The distribution of floor masses was varied to obtain different eccentricities between mass center and rigidity<br/> center of the shear building. The analytical study shows that during earthquake loading, the twisting deformation of the irregular<br/> structures can be minimized by applying seismic isolators, especially FPS, regardless of the mass eccentricity ratio of the<br/> structure. To investigate the possibility of application of the FPS to the real irregular structures, an irregular shaped<br/> residential-commercial building was selected and an earthquake analysis was conducted. FPS was located either between<br/> commercial area and footings or between residential area and transfer girders. Analytical results show that because the rigidity<br/> center of the FPS is automatically coincident with the mass center, the good structural performance can be expected by using<br/> FPS for torsionally vulnerable structures.

        외상환자의 병원 전 및 병원단계 중증도 평가의 일치도

        Purpose: The field trauma triage for injured patients is essential for trauma care system. In this study, agreement of patient evaluation between by prehospital EMS personnel and by hospital staffs and the appropriateness of prehospital triage were evaluated. Methods: This observational study was conducted from September to October 2012 for 5 weeks. During this period, EMT evaluated patient’s severity according to guideline for field triage and recorded. Same guideline was applied in 26 hospitals for patients with EMS use. Kappa statistics were used to measure agreement for each item of guideline. Finally, over-triage and under-triage rate of EMT were calculated. Results: During study period, total 3,106 patients were transferred to 26 hospital emergency departments with EMS use. Kappa statistics for “vital signs” items were 0.45 for mentality lower than V and 0.44 for systolic blood pressure lower than 90 mmHg as a moderate agreement. In “anatomy of injury” items Kappa statistics were very low. In “mechanism of injury” items Kappa statistics were 0.28 for high-rise fall down and 0.27 for high energy traffic accident but in other items Kappa statistics were very low. 362 patients (12.0%) were over-triaged and 281 patients (9.3%) were under-triaged. Conclusion: Field triage can be applied but need to evaluate and modify in order to become accurate and sensitive for decision of transportation. [ J Trauma Inj 2014; 27: 126-32 ]

      • 군인의 발목 외상 중 후송 기준에 대한 고찰

        Objectives: The purpose of the study is to analyze the patients visiting emergency room because of ankle injuries to check the efficiency of current evacuation system. Methods: Medical records of the patients from June 2016 to November 2016 were analyzed retrospectively to find out the necessity of emergent treatment. The average duration of off-duty period according to severity of ankle sprain was further investigated by using SPSS 23 for statistical analysis. Results: Total 47 patients visited ER because of ankle injury during study period. Mean age was 22.55±3.26. The number of patient rank was Private 6(12.7%), Private first class 20(42.6%), Corporal 13(27.7%), Sergeant 5(10.6%), Sergeant first class 1(2.1%), Second lieutenant 1(2.1%), Major 1(2.1%) retrospectively. The cause of ankle injury was Futsal 21(44.7%), Soccer 10(21.3%), Run 6(12.8%), Etc. 4(8.5%), Foot volleyball 3(6.4%), Basketball 3(6.4%), retrospectively. Final diagnosis was sprain 41(87.2%), fracture 4(8.5%), dislocation 2(4.3) retrospectively. The grade of ankle sprain was I 1(2.1%), II 5(10.6%), III 41(87.2%) retrospectively. T-test, chi-squrare test and Fisher s exact test was done for dislocation which needed emergent treatment. However, none of the variant showed statistical significance. The average duration of off-duty period according to severity of ankle sprain was 5.66±0.88 weeks. Conclusions: This study can proviae medical information to military commanders for making selective and focused evacuation decision of ankle sprain injury patients. Thus, more effective evacuation system can minimize loss of military force.
