Recently, the frequency and range of algae occurrence in major rivers and lakes are increasing due to the increase in water temperature due to climate change, the inflow of excessive nutrients, and changes in the river environment. Abnormal algae include green algae and red algae. Green algae is a phenomenon in which blue-green algae such as chlorophyll (Chl-a) in the water grow excessively and the color of the water changes to dark green. In this study, a 3D virtual world of digital twin was built to monitor and control water quality information measured in ecological rivers and lakes in the living environment in real time from a remote location, and a sensor measuring device for water quality information based on the Internet of Things (IOT) sensor. We propose to build a smart water environment service platform that can provide algae warning and water quality forecasting by predicting the causes and spread patterns of water pollution such as algae based on AI machine learning-based collected data analysis.

DME is expected for future clean energy, especially for application to diesel engine. But DME fuel for adapt to commercial diesel engine has a defect, because of its chemical properties. So, we had to develope a DME high pressure pump for common-rail injection system. The DME high pressure pump is horizontal two plunger type pump. because of its simple structure, and minimum components. And at the development of DME high pressure pump, it is considered the DME fuel properties like as low lubrication property, low bulk modulus property and low density and calorific value properties. DME pump design concept of this study is general and thus may be applied to the common-rail systems for other alternative fuel.

Higher specific power and thermal efficiency of DISI system compared to those of MPI system has led to wide adoption of DISI system for SI engines. Since DISI system injects fuel directly into the cylinder, wall wetting may occur and it must be prevented to reduce HC emission. In order to prevent wall wetting, spray characteristics of multi-hole injector must be studied more carefully. Previous studies have focused on the measurement of multi-hole injector performance using single fuel but only a few studies have been done on the multi-hole injector performance using a variety of fuels Although gasoline sold in other countries have similar components, they have different properties such as volatility. It is reported that the use of low volatility gasoline leads to increase in HC emission. Therefore, in this study, the effect of fuel properties on the spray penetration length and spray width was studied by injecting various fuels at the various injection pressure and ambient pressure, and taking images of fuel injection using high speed CCD camera. The obtained images were analyzed by the image processing code and spray penetration length and spray area of various fuels were compared.

Turbocharger technologies are regarded as a key technology to realize engine downsizing for CO2 reduction of IC engine. But, a commercialized turbocharger test bench is so expensive to various researches on the turbocharger development and applications in a research lab. So, in this paper, easy turbocharger test method are proposed and test results are verified with reference data of a commercialized turbocharger. Proposed test system and test methods could be simplified using turbocharger mean-value models. And, it was found from the result that benchmarking turbocharger"s compressor performance could be evaluated in about 10% .
