암모니아 급성노출에 따른 대왕범바리(Epinephelus fuscoguttatus ♀×E. lanceolatus ♂)의 혈액성상 및 혈장성분의 변화

Hybrid grouper(Epinephelus fuscoguttatus ♀×E. lanceolatus ♂) (mean weight 25.7±3.5g, mean length 11.2±0.9cm) were exposed to different ammonia concentrations of 0, 5, 10, 20, and 40mg L<sup>-1</sup> for 96 hours. The hematological hematocrit and hemoglobin parameters of the hybrid grouper were significantly decreased by 20 mg L<sup>-1</sup> ammonia exposure. In the organic plasma components, calcium was significantly decreased, whereas there was no change in magnesium. In the organic plasma components, the glucose and cholesterol values of the hybrid grouper were significantly increased by ammonia exposure. In the enzymatic plasma components, the ALP(Alkaline phosphatase) value of the hybrid grouper was also significantly increased by ammonia exposure. The results of this study demonstrate that acute ammonia exposure to hybrid grouper induced changes in hematological parameters and plasma components. Therefore, acute ammonia exposure over 20 mg L<sup>-1</sup> appears to be toxic to hybrid grouper and the results can be used as a major indicator in breeding hybrid grouper. 본 실험에서 암모니아 급성 노출은 대왕범바리의 혈액학적 성상 및 혈장 성분에 유의적 변화를 나타내었다. 본 실험의 결과 20mg L<sup>-1</sup> 이상의 급성 암모니아 노출은 대왕범바리의 혈액학적 성상 및 혈장 성분에 영향을 주어 생리적 변화를 일으키며, 40mg L<sup>-1</sup>의 급성 암모니아 농도는 대량 폐사를 유발할 수 있음을 나타낸다. 향후 대왕범바리 바이오플락 양식기술 적용을 위한 양식연구에 이러한 결과를 지표로 활용할 수 있을 것이다.
나노 입자 적층 시스템(NPDS)을 이용한 염료 감응 태양전지 - 전기 변색 통합 소자 및 에너지 하베스팅 시스템에 대한 연구

본 연구에서는 나노 입자 적층 시스템(Nano Particle Deposition System, NPDS)을 이용하여 전기변색소자의 작동 전극을 적층하고 또한 염료 감응 태양전지의 반도체 층으로 사용되는 $TiO_2$층 및 전기변색소자의 이온 저장 층으로 사용되는 Antimony Tin Oxide(ATO) 층을 제작하였다. NPDS는 상온 건식 분말 적층법으로 노즐을 통하여 초음속으로 가속된 분말의 높은 에너지를 이용하여 기판에 적층하는 새로운 개념의 건식 적층 방법이다. 본 연구에서 코팅된 물질의 두께는 전기변색소자의 투과율에 영향을 끼치는데, 이는 표면 프로파일 측정법(surface profiling method)으로 측정하였으며, 적층된 $TiO_2$와 ATO 및 복합 층의 미세 구조를 확인하기 위해 SEM을 이용한 분석을 진행하였다. 한편 염료 감응 태양전지의 광 변환 효율은 솔라 시뮬레이터로 분석하였다. 또한 UV-visible spectrometer와 power source를 이용하여 630 nm 대역에서 전기 변색 소자가 갖는 투과도 변화와 낮은 전압에서의 작동 및 변색 횟수를 측정하였으며, 결과적으로 상기 과정을 거쳐 제작되고, 측정된 염료 감응 태양전지 - 전기 변색 통합 구조 소자를 자체 제작한 에너지 하베스팅 시스템과 연결하여 통합 구조 소자 내 태양전지의 전압 발생을 통해 자체 구동이 가능한 전기 변색 소자 시스템 제작에 성공하였다. NPDS를 통해 제작된 변색 소자의 경우, 최대 49%의 투과도 변화와 500회 작동에서 C-V curve를 유지함을 측정하여 성능과 내구성을 입증하였고, 통합 소자 내 태양 전지의 광 변환 효율은 최대 2.55%로 측정되었으며, 통합 소자 내 변색 소자의 경우 최대 26%의 투과도 변화를 보였다. In this study, Antimony Tin Oxide (ATO) ion storage layer and $TiO_2$ working electrode were fabricated using Nano Particle Deposition System. NPDS is the cutting-edge technology among the dry deposition methods. Accelerated particles are deposited on the substrate through the nozzle using NPDS. The thicknesses for coated layers were measured and layer's morphology was acquired using SEM. The fabricated electrochromic cell's transmittance was measured using UV-Visible spectrometer and power source at 630 nm. As a result, the integrated electrochromic/DSSC hybrid system was successfully fabricated as an energy harvesting system. The fabricated electrochromic cell was self-operated using DSSC as a power source. In conclusion, the electrochromic cell was operated for 500 cycles, with 49% of maximum transmittance change. Also the photovoltaic efficiency for DSSC was measured to be 2.55% while the electrochromic cell on the integrated system had resulted in 26% of maximum transmittance change.
미세 갑상선 유두상암에서 양측성과 연관된 임상 병리학적 인자에 대한 분석

Purpose: Papillary thyroid carcinoma is the most common malignant tumor originating from the thyroid. The recent increase in frequency of thyroid ultrasonography is increasing the diagnostic rate of thyroid cancer, especially of the small-sized cancer. The appropriate extent of surgery for thyroid micropapillary carcinoma is still under debate, and bilaterality of the tumor may be an important factor determining the extent. Therefore, this study analyzed the clinicopathologic factors related to tumor bilaterality in order to help decide the extent of treatment. Methods: Subjects included 134 patients who received total thyroidectomy and central neck lymph node dissection at Wonju Christian Hospital under the diagnosis of thyroid micropapillary cancer from January 1<SUP>st</SUP>, 1994 to December 31<SUP>st</SUP>, 2009. The frequency of bilateral tumor among the subjects were studied, and the relationship between bilaterality and clinicopathologic factors, including patients' gender, age, tumor size, multiple mass in single lobe, capsule invasion, extrathyroidal extension, lymphovascular space invasion, central neck node invasion and lateral neck node invasion was analyzed. Results: There were 32 cases (23.9%) of bilateral tumor. Statistically significant factors related to bilaterality included two or more mass in a single lobe, perithyroidal soft tissue invasion. Conclusion: When we plan thyroidectomy for thyroid micropapillary cancer, one cannot rule out the possibility of bilateral thyroid micropapillary cancer in patients with clinicopathologic factors related to bilaterality. Closer preoperative examination is thought to be required for such patients. (Korean J Endocrine Surg 2011;11:18-21)
Combination of EMTDC and MATLAB for UPQC-SMES system simulation

The PSCAD/EMTDC (Power System Computer Aided Design/ElectroMagnetic Transient DC) is generally used to simulate a power network. However, it is difficult to analyze the characteristics of power devices, such as magnetic field, temperature variation, and stress using EMTDC. MATLAB is able to analyze the characteristics of power devices using numeric formula and interconnect with other software packages. Similarly, EMTDC also allows communication through its FORTRAN interface. This paper describes the combination of EMTDC and MATLAB for UPQC-SMES (Unified Power Quality Conditioner-Superconducting Magnetic Energy Storage) system simulation and the results are discussed in detail.
자속추정기를 사용한 IPM Sensorless 제어방법

본 논문은 매입자석형 동기전동기 (Interior Permanent Magnet Motor, 이하 IPM)의 Sensorless 제어에 관한 것이다. IPM에서 벡터제어를 수행하기 위해서는 계자분 전류와 토크분 전류로 나누어서 제어를 해줘야 한다. 이때, 토크는 영구자석과 직교하는 방향으로 토크분 전류를 인가해줘야 하기 때문에, 영구자속에 의해 발생하는 자속의 정확한 위치를 알아야 하고, 그로 인하여 엔코더 등의 자극위치센서를 사용해야 한다. 따라서, IPM은 일반적으로 Sensored제어를 하게 된다. 그러나, 고가의 장치인 엔코더 등의 자극위치센서를 사용하지 않고 적절한 제어를 수행해주기 위하여 여러 sensorless 기법들이 개발되어 발전되었다. 본 논문에서는 자속추정기를 이용하여 자속을 추정하고, 이를 이용하여 모터의 회전속도 및 회전각을 추정함으로써 Sensorless제어가 가능하였다. 본 제어 알고리즘은 자사 벡터제어 인버터인 iV5를 통해 실험하여 확인하였다.
전도 냉각형 10kJ 고온 초전도 에너지 저장장치의 열 부하 특성 해석

The characteristics of the Superconducting Magnetic Energy Storage (SMES) system are faster response, longer life time, more economical, and environment friendly than other Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) using battery. Fast charge and discharge time of SMES system can provide powerful performance of improving power quality in the grid. In order to demonstrate the effectiveness of SMES, the authors make a 10kJ SMES system for connection with RTDS (Real Time Digital Simulator). Because the characteristics of superconducting magnet are very important in SMES system, the necessary items such as thermal characteristic, mechanical stress and protection circuit should be considered. In this paper, the authors experimented thermal characteristics of the 10kJ SMES system. The experiment was accomplished using a simulation coils made of aluminium. It has same dimension of the 10kJ class HTS SMES coil. The coil was cooled with GM (Gifford -McMahon) cryocooler through the OFHC (Oxgen Free High thermal Conductivity) conduction bar. The test results of cool down and heat loads characteristics of the simulation coils are described in detail.

Although a majority of patients with splenic rupture present acutely, up to 15% present with a delayed rupture days to weeks following a substantial abdominal injury. The mortality for patients presenting with acute splenic rupture is approximately 1% whereas that associated with delayed rupture approaches 15%. Although many cases of delayed splenic rupture have been reported, the majority of those reports present delayed splenic rupture associated with an underlying systemic disorder such as liver or kidney disease, or another hematologic disorder. We found a delayed splenic rupture case that documented the normal spleens of young healthy soldiers after trivial abdominal trauma, and we have had successful treatment experience with delayed rupture of a normal spleen after trivial trauma. Therefore, we want to review the literature and discuss the phenomenon of delayed rupture of the spleen following trivial trauma.
LTPS와 IGZO TFT를 이용한 AMOLED 디스플레이용 CMOS Inverter 회로 구현

In this paper, a hybrid complementary metal oxide semiconductor (CMOS) inverter composed of p-type lowtemperature poly-crystalline silicon (LTPS) thin-film transistor (TFT) using excimer laser annealing(ELA) of amorphous Si and n-type amorphous indium-gallium-zinc oxide (a-IGZO) TFT is reported. The inverter exhibits a full swing output and a large noise margin. With these hybrid TFT circuit components, more power-efficient CMOS digital circuits for active-matrix organic light emitting diode display can be implemented.
