Among the non-contact thermal property measurement techniques, a method utilizing the photothermal effect has been verified for their reliability by many researchers. Among them, the photothermal displacement method, the photothermal deflection method, and the photothermal deflection dollinear method are the most recently proposed thermal property measurement techniques. However, the thermal properties measurement technique previously discussed has various limitations for the measurement, depending on the characteristics of the materials such as absorption and transparency. Therefore, a universal thermal property measurement technique is needed. In this paper, we build a numerical model for reverse photothermal deflection method. In order to validate the numerical model, the grid dependence was verified and the optimum number of grids was obtained. From the comparison of the analytical analysis and the numerical results shows about 0.1% difference each other.
누적 입자의 직경에 따른 HEPA 필터 성능 변화 특성에 대한 실험적 연구

In previous paper investigated the HEPA(High Efficiency Particulate Air filter) filter change of the performance(such as filtration efficiency, flow rate and pressure drop) with accumulated ultra-fine particle under 0.3 μm. The electrostatic force is decrease the ultra-fine and fine particle to accumulate in the HEPA filter. Fine particle is larger the inertial impaction and interception effect of the dust cake generation. For this reason, filtration efficiency tend to decreased during accumulated ultra-fine particle. on the other hand fine particle is increased as the accumulated filtration efficiency. In this study investigated the performance change accumulate ultra-fine particle, then fine particle.
주름진 필터의 형상변수 및 투과율에 따른 압력강하에 대한 실험적 연구

최근 대기오염으로 인해 공기정화 시장이 확대되며 공기청정기 사용률이 증가하고 있다. 공기청정기는 보편적으로 집진 효율이 100%에 달하는 필터를 사용하기 때문에 풍량이 곧 공기청정기의 성능을 나타내는 지표인 분진청정화 능력이 된다. 일반적으로 필터의 집진효율이 증가하면 투과율은 감소하기 때문에 압력강하가 증가하여 풍량이 감소하게 된다. 이에 따라 공기청정기의 성능 확보를 위해서는 필터의 압력강하 특성을 정확하게 파악할 필요가 있다. 필터는 투과면적을 증가시키기 위해 주름진 형상으로 만들어지는데, 주름진 필터에서는 다공성 매질인 필터를 통과하며 생성되는 압력강하와 주름 형상에 의해 생성되는 압력강하가 복합적으로 발생한다. 이러한 영향을 분석하기 위해 본 연구에서는 서로 다른 투과율을 갖는 H-10, H-11, H-13 급의 세 가지 필터를 사용하여 다양한 주름 간격, 주름 깊이를 갖는 필터에 대한 압력강하를 측정하였다. 또한, 특성변수들을 이용하여 상관식을 도출하였으며 본 연구의 결과는 향후 공기청정기의 집진필터를 설계하는데 유용한 데이터로 활용될 것으로 사료된다.
금속-수지 이중층 구조에서의 광열편향법을 이용한 금속 두께측정에 대한 수치해석적 연구

In this study, the thickness for first layer of metal-resin double layer materials is measured using photothermal deflection method. While the modulated pump beam is irradiating on material, the periodic temperature distribution changes occur in the material due to photothermal effect. The periodic temperature distribution depends on the effective thermal diffusion coefficient in the range of thermal wave influence inside the material. According to the thickness for first layer, the effective thermal diffusion coefficient will be changed, which results in phase change of probe beam. Based on these phenomena, the profiles of phase change according to the various thickness for first layer for five-step of frequency were obtained using numerical analysis. Also, numerical results were non-dimensionalized. It can be identified that the phase profiles have the same tendency regardless of frequency changes if the dimensional parameter is identical. As a result, the thickness for first layer can be determined by the frequency of pump beam and the phase delay of probe beam.
향 연기 누적에 따른 HEPA 필터 성능 변화의 실험적 연구

It is known that the ultra-fine dust is fatal to human health, and HEPA filter is one of the efficient ways to remove it at home, office and etc. The present work studied the variation of HEPA filter performance(pressure drop, dust collection efficiency and etc.) as ultra-fine dust under 0.3μ was accumulated on the filter and the characteristic difference from the results of the regular test dust whose diameter ranges from 0 to 100μ. Incense smoke was used to generate the ultra-fine dust for the test. Generally it is known that as the regular test dust is accumulated on a filter pressure drop increases and dust collection efficiency of the filter remains constant or increases. However It was fount that the accumulation of ultra-fine dust on HEPA filter resulted in a considerable reduction in the dust collection efficiency while the pressure drop remains almost constant, which is quite different from the results of regular test dust.
