In this study, the surface roughness characteristics of MBsBE were investigated according to cutting conditions. The surface characteristics of machined surface are usually investigated at various cutting conditions such as cutting speed, feed rate, cutting depth of workpiece. Experiments were conducted in a CNC lathe and the surface roughness of workpiece for dry and wet cutting were estimated. Machining was performed with cutting speed of 150, 160, 170 and 180m/min, feed rate of 0.05, 0.1, 0.15 and 0.2mm/rev. and cutting depth of 0.1, 0.2, 0.3 and 0.4mm respectively. As a method of evaluation, surface roughness was measured for each cutting
