This study was investigated resistance on disinfectants and antibiotics of Clostridium chauvoei isolated from dairy farm in Kyongbuk province. The results obtained were summarized as follows; C chauvoei isolated from dairy farm were susceptible to norfloxacin, penicillin, tetracycline, erythromycin, enrofloxacin, bacitracin, tyrosine, cephalothin and cefazolin but resistant to genta-micin, kanamycin, sulfamethoxazole +.trimethoprim, amikacin, neomycin streptomycin, colistin. In effect on disinfectants, C chauvoei was inhibited completely to growth in mercuric bichloride (HgCI(2)), harasol(sodium hypochloride 4-6%), long-life(high boiling tar acids et al) and phenol(C(6) H(5)OH), but growth in all-stop(didecyl dimethyl ammonium chloride 10%), powercide(potassium monopersulphate 50% et al), antec vercon-s(triple salt 50% et al), and taego-51(6-alkyl-2.6-diaza-hexane-carbonic acid-1·HCl et al). The effect of disinfectant was excellent in mercuric bichloride and harasol.

This study was carried out species identification and antibiotics susceptibility of Staphylococci isolated from bovine mastitic milk, chicks, Korean indigenous goats, pigs and mice in northern area of Kyungbuk. The result were summarized as follows; A total of 71 Staphylococci were isolated from bovine mastitic milk, chicken, pig, Korean indigenous goat and mouse. The results of identification of 71 Staphylococci revealed that S aureus was most important pathogen in animals tested. Of 39 Staphylococci from bovine mastitic milk, 16 of 39 isolates (41%) were S aureus and 9 of 39 isolates (23%) were S hyicus subsp chromogens. The results of susceptibility test to 16 antibiotics revealed that 91.5% of all isolates were resistant to more than 1 antibiotic and resistance to penicillin was most high(76.1%). All isolates were susceptible to vancomycin.
경북북부지역 젖소 유방염 우유 및 각족 동물로부터 불리한 staphylococcus aureus의 항균제 내성과 MRSA검출에 관한 연구

This study was carried out the antimicrobial resistance of staphylococcus aureus isolated from bovine mastitic milk, chickens, korean native cattle, korean native goats, pigs, dog and mice in northern area of kyongbuk. The result were summarised as follows; A total of 149 S aureus were isolated from bovine mastitic milk, chickens, korean native cattle, korean native goats, pigs, dog and mice. In 80 isolates of S aureus from bovine mastitic milk, 60% of isolates revealed resistance to penicillin and ampicillin, 19% to gentarnicin, 6% to tetracycline, In 36 isolates of S aureus from chickens, 72% of isolates revealed resistance to tetracycline, 58% to penicillin and ampicillin, 42% to streptomycin, 31% to lincomycin, 25% to norfloxacin, 22% to gentamicin. In 17 isolates of S aureus from korean native cattle, 100% of isolates revealed resistance to penicillin and ampicillin, 88% to lincomycin, 76% to tetracycline. 2 MRSA were isolated from the isolates of S aureus from bovine mastitic milk and revealed multi-drug resistance.
