It was previously introduced a new displacement measuring technique using terrestrial laser scanning (TLS) that remotely samples the surface of an object using laser pulses and generates the three-dimensional (3D) coordinates of numerous points on the surface. In this paper, for an assessment of the capabilities of the measuring technique about existing structures, the field tests for vertical displacement measurement of an existing long span steel box-girder are experimentally carried out. The performance of the technique is evaluated by comparing the displacements obtained from TLS system and displacements directly measured from linear variable displacement transducer (LVDT).

The sub-micro vibration problem in technology facility has been important as essential factor having an effect on performance of manufactures. To design long-span of production lines with increasing the manufacture equipment is essentially demanded in the most recent, accordingly a matter of concern about vibration isolation also is growing. While international competitive power of Internal electronic and IT industry maintains the highest level, technical know-how of facilities field in technology facility has depended on a developed country. Therefore, there is a need of total analysis to design the long-span structure system on industrial demand of technology facility and to improve the vibration isolation level. In this study, we research dynamic characteristics and vibration response of floor system in the design of long-span structure system and would like to propose an alternative proposal to improve sub-micro vibration isolation level. In the study result, when return plenum floor stiffness is increased in order to reduce vibration of floor system, we can make certain of vibration reduction effect from increasing slab thickness of return plenum, changing the number of beam and a design plan and increasing section size of beam.

In the long-span sub-micro vibration control structures, one of the essential factor together with vibration control comply a term of works. therefore applying precast concrete is a point of the present time when we consider to reduction of a term of works. we must devise other special floor system, if it go over the maximum manufactured precast concrete member size. The purpose of this experimental study is to examine the structural properties of X-braced PC column-girder joint in long span sub-micro vibration control structure system of length over 17 meter. The test result showed that X-brace was appeared stress concentration and each point strains of reinforcement bar appeared load-strain curve.
대형 구조물의 효율적인 구조해석을 위한 리눅스 클러스터링

The efficiency of structural design process for large-scale structures highly depends on the efficiency of structural analysis model because design is an iterative process with several trial designs in a sequence. Furthermore the most time consuming part of the structural analysis model is the solution process of the resulting linear simultaneous equations. In this paper, distributed structural analysis model based on preconditioned conjugate gradient (PCG) algorithms are developed and implemented both on a cluster of Linux PCs and CRAY T3E. The performances of the distributed PCG algorithm implemented on two computing system such as a cluster of Linux PCs and the widely used massively parallel machine CRAY T3E are compared in terms of various factors including speedup curves. The distributed algorithm is applied to structural analysis of large-scale space truss structures.
