Comparison of Improved Explicit Method and Predictor Correct α-Method

Dynamic application lower mode response is of interest, however the higher modes of spatially discretized equations generally do not represent the real behavior. Some implicit algorithms, therefore, are introduced to filter out the high-frequency modes. The objective of this study is to introduce the P-method and PC ${\alpha}$-method to compare that with dissipation method and Newmark method through the stability analysis and numerical example. PC ${\alpha}$-method gives more accuracy than other methods because it based on the ${\alpha}$-method inherits the superior properties of the implicit ${\alpha}$-method. In finite element analysis, the PC ${\alpha}$-method is more useful than other methods because it is the explicit scheme and it achieve the second order accuracy and numerical damping simultaneously.

This paper proposes an isolated bidirectional three-phase push-pull dc-dc converter for high power application such as eco-friendly vehicles, renewable energy systems, energy storage systems, and solid-state transformers. The proposed converter achieves ZVS turn-on of all switches and volume of passive components is small by an effect of three-phase interleaving. The proposed converter has identical switching pattern for both boost and buck mode, and therefore can provide seamless characteristic at the mode transition. A 3kW prototype of the proposed converter has been built and tested to verify the validity of the proposed operation.

The main aim of this study was to evaluate the bending and torsional behaviors of representative regular type cap beams in elevated guideway structures. Al/2 scale model copping beam, excluding the column portion, was designed, constructed, and tested. The capping beam was subjected to horizontal monotonic and cyclic loads with a constant vertical load over the loading stage. The damage was very much dominated by torsion. Experiment results showed thatt the spiral confinement in the beam helped to restrain the opening of torsional cracks in the column zone. Hence, the torsional strength of the cap beam contributes greatly to the conditions of the column.
친환경 UM수지를 사용한 폴리머 시멘트 모르타르의 강도 및 내구성에 관한 연구

본 연구에서는 콘크리트의 내구수명 개선을 위한 친환경 수지인 UM수지 화합물을 혼합한 시멘트 모르타르 의 특성을 연구하였다. 친환경수지인 UM수지를 일반 시멘트 모르타르와 일정비율로 혼합하였다. UM수지를 혼합한 폴리머 시멘트 모르타르에 대하여 압축강도, 쪼갬인장강도, 휨강도, 흡수율 및 내약품성 실험을 수행하였다. 재료실험 결과 친환경 수지인 UM수지를 함유한 시멘트 모르타르는 압축강도와 쪼갬인장강도는 감소하는 반면 휨강도와 흡수 율 및 내약품성에서는 성능이 개선되었다. 친환경 UM수지 폴리머 시멘트 모르타르는 콘크리트 내구성 보강성능이 우수하였다. In this study, the characteristics of polymer-modified mortar which include UM resin, eco-friendly resin, was studied for improving the durability of concrete. UM and cement mortar were mixed with a certain percentage. Eco-friendly UM resin polymer-modified mortar was evaluated by compressive strength, splitting tensile strength, flexural strength, water absorption and chemical resistance experiments. The characteristics of eco-friendly UM resin polymer-modified mortar were evaluated by experiments. Performance of compressive strength and splitting tensile strength were decreasing. On the other hand, performance of flexural strength, water absorption and chemical resistance were increasing. Eco-friendly UM resin polymer-modified mortar reinforced concrete durability performance is excellent.
