배전계통은 수용가에 전력을 공급하는 설비로서 계통의 안정적인 운영을 위하여 배전계통의 신뢰도를 산정하는 것은 중요한 의미를 갖는다. 본 논문에서는 배전계통을 구성하는 설비와 수용가의 전력 공급 유무에 따른 신뢰도를 산정하였다. Fault Tree Analysis(FTA)는 시스템의 고장을 해석하는 방법으로 사용된다. 시스템의 고장을 발생시키는 사건원인을 분석하여 Fault Tree(FT: 고장목)를 작성하고, 시스템을 구성하는 설비들의 고장확률 계산을 통하여 전 시스템의 신뢰성을 산정할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 Relex 7.7 프로그램을 사용 하여 FTA를 수행하였다.

A railway substation transforms the electric power transmitted from a electric power company and supply it to the railway power system for the operation of traction system. For the approriate operation of the traction system, it is very important to keep the security of electric power system. This paper proposes the assuming the case that an AC railway substation does not operate rightly, and making Fault Tree and Event Tree and evaluating the reliability of railway substation. The analyzed results can be used to improve the system reliability.

Electric railway system consists of traction power system, rolling stock, track, and overhead line system. A railway substation transforms the electric power transmitted from a electric power company and supply it to the railway power system for the operation of traction system.. It is very important to prevent a possible accident and keep the security of electric power system. This paper proposes a reliability analysis of AC railway substation by using Fault Tree Analysis(FTA). Failure rates of each equipment of railway substation are used to evaluate the reliability of railway substation. The analyzed results can be used to improve the system reliability. FTA is performed by the commercialized program of Relex(Ver. 7.7).

As catenary supply electric power directly to the railway system, it is very important to prevent an accident of a catenary for appropriate train operations. This paper analyzed the outage data for British catenary safety analysis report and Korean data to compare the reliability of the railway systems. The analyzed data were applied to Fault Tree Analysis(FTA) algorithm to calculate the reliability indices of a railway system. Failure rate of an electric railway system through FTA were calculated for each element and the entire railway system. The reliability indices can be used to determine the eqipment to be replaced [or the entire system reliability improvement.
