        치위생과 학생들의 장애인에 대한 인식도에 관한 조사연구

        본 연구는 장애인 구강관리를 담당할 치위생과 학생들의 교육 방향성을 제시하고, 장애인에 대한 건전한 인식도를 높이고자, 전남지역에 소재한 3개 대학 치위생과 학생 538명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 장애인에 대한 태도 및 장애인 구강관리에 대한 태도를 조사한 결과, 친구나 가족 중에 장애인이 있는 경우나, 장애시설에서 봉사활동 또는 구강보건활동 경험이 있는 경우는 장애인에 대해 긍정적인 태도를 보이는 것으로 조사되었고, 특히 장애인 구강보건활동 경험이 있는 경우에는 장애인 구강보건에 더욱 긍정적인 태도를 내타내었다. 이에 장애인 접촉의 기회를 늘려 장애인과의 거리감을 좁히고, 장애인 구강관리에 더욱 긍정적이고 적극적인 태도를 형성하는 것이 필요하다고 하겠으며, 뿐만 아니라 장애인 환자 진료 시 가장 문제점이 되는 의사소통의 어려움, 장애인 치료에 대한 경험부족, 장애인 치료에 대한 지식 부족 등을 해결하기 위해서는 87.5%가 교육이 필요하다 하였고, 교육의 형태는 이론과 실습의 병행교육이 필요하다고 했다. 또한 국가에서도 장애인 구강보건에 대한 체계적인 정책을 수립하여 장애인 구강건강프로그램을 개발하고 장애인 진료에 소요되는 많은 시간과 노력에 보상할 수 있는 의료보험제도개발 등이 필요하다고 사료된다. The purpose of this study was to investigate consciousness about the disabled on dental hygiene students and search for course of dental hygiene education as oral health care with the disabled. The subjects in this study were 538 dental hygiene students from three college in Jeonnam province. For statistical analyses of collected data, the descriptive analyses and chi-square were adopted. The obtained results were as follows. Seniors showed positive attitude about the disabled and dental service of the disabled(p<0.05). The common types of contact the disabled were physical. Cerebral palsy and inner disabled were rarely. The problems are difficulty in communication, short of clinical experience in dental service of the disabled, noncooperation of the disabled, short of knowledge in dental service of the disabled. To dental service of the disabled, demand as necessity of education was 87.5%, theory and practice at the same time was 68.0% in pattern of education. Finally, 49.5% of respondents observed special dental clinic to utilization pattern of dental service of the disabled.

        학습 튜터링 프로그램이 대인관계, 자기주도적 학습력과 학업적 자기효능감에 미치는 효과

        본 연구는 학습 튜터링 프로그램이 대인관계와 주도적 학습력 및 학업적 자기효능감에 미치는 영향을 분석하는데 그 목적이 있다. 연구 목적에 따라 설정한 연구 문제는 학습 튜터링 프로그램이 대인관계, 주도적 학습력, 학업적 자기효능감에 영향을 미치는가를 알아보기 위해 프로그램 실시 전, 후 대인관계, 자기주도학습력, 학업적 자기효능감에 변화가 있는가를 살펴보고자, 2017년 9월 18일부터 11월 17일까지 한 학기동안 학습 튜터링 프로그램에 참여한 재학생 214명을 대상으로 자기기입식 설문지법을 통해 자료를 수집하였으며 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 튜터링 프로그램 참여 후 자기주도 학습력과 개인학습성향은 튜터링 프로그램 참여 전보다 다소 감소됨을 보였고, 대인관계와 학업적 자기효능감은 향상됨을 보였다. 성별에 따라서도 튜터링 프로그램 전, 후 가장 크게 향상된 부분은 대인관계이고, 학년과 참여 동기에서도 가장 향상된 부분은 대인관계이었으며, 그 다음으로는 학업적 자기효능감인 것으로 나타났다. 다시 말하면 튜터링 프로그램을 시행하여 가장 크게 변화되고, 효과를 나타내는 부분이 대인관계와 학업적 자기효능감이라 말할 수 있는 결과를 보였다. 결국, 대인관계 및 학업적 자기효능감의 향상은 학생들의 학교적응뿐만 아니라 학업수준까지 향상시켜 결국에는 중도탈락을 예방하여 대학 기관의 안정적 운영과 질적 경쟁력 제고에 기여할 수 있는 우수한 학습 프로그램이라 판단한다. The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of an academic tutoring program on interpersonal relationships, self- directed learning capability and academic self-efficacy. The research question posed in this study was whether an academic tutoring program would affect interpersonal relationships, self-directed learning capability and academic self-efficacy. To address the research question, a self-administered survey was conducted to gather data on 214 students who participated in an academic tutoring program during a semester from September 4 to November 10, 2017. The findings of the study were as follows: After their participation in the tutoring program, there was a little decrease in self-directed learning capability and personal learning orientation, and they made progress in interpersonal relationships and academic self-efficacy. By gender, there was the greatest improvement in interpersonal relationships as well after their participation in the tutoring program. By academic year and motivation for participation, they showed the best improvement in interpersonal relationships as well, followed by academic self-efficacy. In other words, it could be said that the parts which the tutoring program brought about the biggest change to and worked best on were interpersonal relationships and academic self-efficacy. In conclusion, the improvement of interpersonal relationships and academic self-efficacy could boost not only the school adjustment of students but their academic levels and then eventually prevent them from dropping out. Therefore this program seems to be one of outstanding learning programs that could make a contribution to the stable management and qualitative competitiveness of universities.

        색채 선호를 통한 치과위생사의 성향 분석

        본 연구는 CRR (Colour Reflection Reading) 분석법을 이용하여 지역사회 치과위생사의 색채 선호를 통해 특정 집단의 성향을 알아보고자 하였다. 광주·전남 지역의 치과 병·의원에 재직 중인 치과위생사 총 238명을 대상으로 자기기입식 설문조사를 시행하였다. 8가지 색상 중 선택하는 순서에 따라 유형을 구별하였으며, SPSS 22.0 통계프로그램을 통해 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 첫 번째 색으로는 마젠타, 두 번째는 노랑, 세 번째로 마젠타 색상을 선호하는 것으로 나타났다. 연령별 선호 색채는 모든 연령에서 첫 번째 색으로 마젠타를 선호하였고, 결혼과 자녀 유무에 따른 결과는 두 번째 색에서 기혼은 노랑, 미혼은 파랑을 선호하는 것으로 동일하게 나타났다. 이 연구결과는 선호 색채 및 보색을 활용하여 스트레스 완화나 심리적 안정을 고려한 근무 환경 조성 등 인적자원 관리를 위한 자료로 활용하고자 한다. This study aimed to examine the personality traits of a specific group using color reflection reading (CRR) analysis. An experiment was conducted to examine the color preferences of dental hygienists in a certain community. The color psychology test was conducted with 238 dental hygienists currently employed in dental clinics or hospitals in Gwangju, Jeollanam-do, in the form of a self-administered questionnaire. Participating dental hygienists were differentiated into groups by their order of selection of eight different colors, and the results were analyzed using SPSS 22.0. The analysis results showed that the most common first-, second-, and third-choice colors were magenta, yellow, and magenta, respectively. By age, magenta was the most common first-choice color in all age groups. When the results were analyzed by marital status and the presence or absence of offspring, the same results were obtained. Yellow and blue were the most common second-choice colors for married and unmarried participants, respectively. The findings were expected to provide data for human resource management, such as for developing better working environments that account for stress relief or psychological stability using color preferences or complementary colors.

        양치시설 설치여부에 따른 일부 초등학생의 구강건강관리행태

        Objectives: The purpose of the study was to investigate oral health-related behaviors of some elementary school students by installation of toothbrushing facility. Methods: A self-reported questionnaire was completed, out by 377 elementary school students with toothbrushing facility, and by 260 elementary school students with no toothbrushing facility in M city from November to December, 2015. The data were analyzed by χ2-test, t-test and stepwise multiple regression analysis using SPSS 12.0 program. The questionnaire comprised toothbrushing practice(2 items), satisfaction of toothbrushing facility(1 item), oral health knowledge(4 items), fluoride recognition(1 item), and necessity of fluoride mouthrinse(1 item). Results: The level of oral health knowledge was high in toothbrushing facility school. But toothbrushing practice was higher in school of no toothbrushing facility(63.8%) than the school with toothbrushing facility(49.1%)(p<0.001). The number of brushing times a week was also higher in school of no toothbrushing facility(1.98 times) than the toothbrushing facility school(1.59 times)(p=0.011). The dominant reason for no brushing was not recognition(65.8%) in toothbrushing facility school, lack of places(61.3%) in non toothbrushing facility school. Conclusions: In order to improve the oral health in elementary school students, it is necessary to provide toothbrushing education and toothbrushing facility in elementary schools.

        수돗물불소농도조정사업에 관한 목포시민의 의식에 관한 조사

        Objectives: The purpose of this study was to obtain the community residents` support and approval on the water fluoridation program in Mokpo, Korea. Methods: Questionnaires of this were 1085 adults, over the age of 20, who resided in the Mokpo city for over the 1year. In order to analyze the factors that were related to the approval on administering water fluoridation program, the data analyzed using a chi-squared test and a multiple logistic regression analysis. Results: Respondents approving the implementation of water fluoridation were 50.5%. The general factors of approval were age, education, Monthly household income. The knowledge factors of approval were experience of hearing of this program, the knowledge of the purpose of this program, the knowledge of the some regions in South Korea had been implement water fluoridation. The results of multiple logistic regression analysis were the awareness of oral health and the knowledge level of water fluoridation were related with this program approval. Conclusions: In order to enhance the rate of approval on administrating the water fluoridation, it is necessary to publicize the purpose, effect, and stability of this program, through a diverse mass media and reinforce the health education program to oral health management.

      • 치위생과 학생들의 장애인에 대한 태도

        The purpose of this study was to examine the general attitude of dental hygiene students toward the disabled and their oral care in an effort to improve their awareness of the disabled and their accessibility to them and suggest some of the right directions for dental hygiene education related to dental treatment for the disabled. The subjects in this study were dental hygiene students at three different colleges located in South Jeolla Province. The general attitude of the selected students toward the disabled and their oral care were investigated from November 1 to December 20, 2007. The findings of the study were as follows: When their general attitude toward disabled people was checked, they agreed the most that there was nothing that the disabled lagged behind nondisabled people. Those who felt the need for that took a more positive attitude in eight items, and the differences between them and the others were significant. Whether they were cognizant of the necessity of dental treatment education for the disabled made the most significant differences to each variable of their attitude toward the oral care of disabled people, and those who were aware of the necessity showed a more positive attitude in five items. The differences between them and the others were significant. The findings of the study illustrated that the dental hygiene students took a relatively favorable attitude toward disabled people’s oral health care, and that they hardly felt a sense of distance to them. So it can be predicted that they will get to take the right attitude to them in the future. Yet the dental hygiene curriculum should give more weight to dental treatment education for the disabled and offer more relevant information, since they didn’t get high scores on positive attitude.

        구강근육마사지 후 타액분비량, 구강건조감, 삶의 질의 변화

        Objectives: The purpose of the study is to investigate the change of the salivary flow rate, xerostomia, and oral health-related quality of life in the elderly people after the application of oral massage. Methods: The subjects were 101 elderly people at two senior welfare centers in Mokpo from November, 2012 to January, 2013 by the application of oral massage. The final subjects were 56 elderly people who participated in the massage more than 15 times of 20. They were measured for saliva flow rate, xerostomia, and OHIP. On the first and the last day, a self-reported questionnaire was completed by the elderly people. The questionnaire consisted of general characteristics of the subjects, oral health related knowledge, symptoms and behavior of xerostomia, and OHIP. OHIP included functional limitation, physical pain, psychological discomfort, physical disability, psychological disability, social disability, and handicap, and was measured by Likert 5 point scale. Results: The salivary flow rate of the elderly people increased after the implementation of the program. There was a significant improvement in xerostomia, functional limitation, physical pain, psychological discomfort, and social efficacy (p<0.001). Conclusions : The oral massage program enhanced the oral function of the elderly people, and had an influence on the improvement of oral health-related quality of life.

        한국산 생약으로부터 항암물질의 개발(제6보). -금은화 Ethyl Acetate 가용성 분획의 인체 구강유상피암종세포에 미치는 세포독성작용-

        This study was carried out to develop antitumor agents based on effects of the ethyl acetate soluble fraction of the methanolic extract of Lonicerae flos on human oral epitheloid carcinoma cells. Human oral epitheloid carcinoma cells were cultured in RPMI-1640 media containing 10% fetal bovine serum, antibiotic, and fungizone. After incubation for 24 hrs, the cells were treated with A, B, C, D, and E fractions for 48hrs under the same condition. MTT (3-(4,5-Dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyl-2H-tetrazoliumbromide), NR (Neutral red) and SRB (Sulforhodamine B protein) assay were performed. The light microscopic findings were observed by inverted microscope. In MTT assay, fraction B was shown significant antitumor activity (P<0.001), fraction E was shown significant antitumor activities (P<0.05), but the other fractions were not shown. In NR assay, fraction B was shown significant antitumor activity (P<0.001). In SRB assay, fractions B was shown significant antitumor activities (P<0.01). fractions A and D were shown significant antitumor activities (P<0.05). but the other fractions were not shown. In light microscopy. the fraction B of the ethyl acetate soluble fraction of the methanolic extract of Lonicerae flos showed the highest antitumor activity. These finding suggested that fraction B possessed the most antitumorous agent.

        일부 보육교사들의 구강건강인식, 구강건강행위, 자아존중감 및 OHIP-14와의 연관성과 영향요인

        Objectives: The purpose of the study is to investigate the correlation and influencing factors of oral health awareness, oral health behaviors, self-esteem and OHIP-14. Methods: A self-reported questionnaire was filled out by 313 childcare teachers in Jeonnam from June 4 to 14, 2013. The questionnaire consisted of 3 questions of general characteristics, 4 questions of occupation, 1 question of oral health education experience, and 1 question of oral health education participation. The instrument for awareness and behavior of oral health were modified and consisted of 10 questions of awareness and 10 questions of behavior by Likert 5 scale. Cronbach``s alpha was 0.718 in awareness and 0.812 in behavior. Instrument for self-esteem was modified from Rosenberg. Self-esteem questionnaire consisted fo 5 questions of positive answers and 5 questions of negative answers by Likert 5 scale. Cronbach``s alpha in self esteem was 0.846 in the study. Oral Health Impact Profile-14(OHIP-14) was adapted from Slade by Likert 5 scale and consisted fo 14 questions. Cronbach’s alpha was 0.934 in the study. Data were analyzed by chi square test, t-test, one way ANOVA, Scheffe multiple range test, Pearason``s correlation test, and stepwise multiple regression test. Results: There were positive correlations between oral health awareness, oral health behavior(r=0.502), and self-esteem(r=0.332), but negative correlations with OHIP-14. Oral health behavior showed positive correlations with self-esteem(r=0.230). The factors on oral health awareness were high oral health behavior and self esteem, low OHIP-14, and active participation in education. Self-esteem was closely related to high with high oral health awareness. low OHIP-14, low job satisfaction. Conclusions: Childcare teachers play the very important roles in the development of oral health education program for children and continuous education.
