        위상수학적 데이터 분석법을 이용한 수학학습 불안 분석 사례

        Recently, Topological Data Analysis (TDA) has attracted attention among various techniques for analyzing big data. Mapper algorithm, which is one of TDA techniques, is used to visualize the cluster diagram. In this study, students were clustered according to the characteristics and degree of mathematics anxiety using a mapper, and students were visualized according to mathematics anxiety. In order to do this, Mathematical Anxiety Scale (Ko & Yi, 2011) in the aspect of mathematical instability in terms of teaching - learning, ie, Nature of Mathematics, Learning Strategy, Test/Performance is used. And the number of questions that measure the anxiety of mathematics can be extracted by extracting the most relevant items among the items that measure the anxiety of mathematics.

        노인교육으로서의 실버수학 자료개발 및 효과성 연구

        본 연구는 우리 사회의 가장 큰 변화 중 하나인 노인인구의 증가에 따른 고령사회에 적극적인 대비책 중 일환으로, 노인 수학 교육에 관련된 자료 개발 및 적용 효과를 파악하는 데 목적이 있다. 본고를 통해 노인 교육으로서의 실버수학 자료를 개발해야 할 필요성 및 목적을 밝히고 노인학습자가 수학 학습을 할 수 있는 인지적 능력, 즉 사고 기억 계산 주의집중 등에 대한 특정들에 대한 연구가 이루어졌다. 이에 따라 노인의 지적 욕구와 신체적 정신적으로 건강한 삶을 위한 프로그램으로써의 역할을 하는 교육 자료 개발이 이루어졌으며, 개발한 자료를 노인들에게 적용해 나가면서 실버 수학의 효과를 탐색하였다. 노인학습자들에게 실버 수학을 하기 위한 수업 모형을 고안하고, 고안된 수업 모형에 따라 기본 수 연산이 가능한 학습자가 수학적 활동을 통해 정의적 인지적 영역에는 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 파악하였다. This study aims to develop materials related to math education for the aged and to identify the effects of application as part of active measures to the aging society with its growing elderly population which is one of the greatest changes in our society. In this purpose, the necessity and objectives for development of materials of 'Silver Math' as education for the aged are explained. Developing and disseminating materials with a role as a program for intelligent needs and physical and spiritual health of the aged presents standards for development of more systemic and meaningful educational materials at this point of time when the importance of education of the aged increases to help the old enjoy qualitatively successful lives in later years in the perspective of lifelong education. Also it aims to present standards of contents and requirements in learning that are adequate and meaningful to old learners at the actual learning sites where education takes place only in terms of making good use of spare time while at the same time suggesting plans of teaching and learning as well as conditions for learning environment. Next, the effectiveness of 'Silver Math' are explored by applying developed materials to the aged. materials of 'Silver Math' for the aged with contents that are appropriate to the definitive and cognitive level of the aged are presented. The developed materials for mathematical activities are divided into 'computation of basic numbers' for those wishing to learn calculation and concepts of numbers, 'active math' that corresponds to definitive factors of old learners, facilitates leisure time through mathematical activities, and Improves communication abilities through cooperative learning among learners, and 'math with thinking power' to solve simple calculation problems by applying to various actual situations.

        수학사가 학교 수학에 미치는 영향

        수학의 유용성을 더욱 강화하기 위해 수학사를 수학 교육에 도입하는 것에 관한 관심이 근래에 더욱 고조되고 있는 추세이다. 수학사가 학교 수학에 미치는 영향을 살펴보는 것은 수학사를 어떠한 측면으로 학교 수학에 가져올 것인가에 대한 통찰력을 제공할 것이다. 이를 위하여 학교 수학에서 수학사의 역할을 크게 인지적, 정의적, 사회문화적 측면에 입각하여 학생의 사고 발달과 학생의 이해 측면 그리고 학습 태도 발달과 동기 부여 마지막으로 인간적ㆍ사회문화적 경험에 미치는 영향력과 타당성을 제시함으로써 수학사가 수학 교육의 정규 커리큘럼이 되어야 하는 근거를 제시하고자 했다. 또한 우리에게 산적된 문제들, 이를테면 교수학적 접근이나 수학사적 주제들의 체제적, 구조적 접근 등도 함께 살펴 보았다. There is great enthusiasm among many mathematics educators to seek to understand how mathematical history can be employed to emphasize the usefulness of mathematics and to make it even more useful. This study focused on reviewing the history of mathematics to provide a 'source of insight.' In this study, the reasons for including the history of mathematics in the mathematics curriculum were divided into three domains: cognitive, affective, and sociocultural. Each domain included the followings: mathematical thinking and understanding; development of a positive attitude and increase motivation; and last, humanistic facets and sociocultural experience. At the same time, we need to develope a pedagogical approach that allows educators to use history properly. Furthermore, we must integrate the historical topics into regular curricula including the syllabus historically-informed grounds.

        초등학생의 수학학습 포기 인식과 정의적 요인 연관성 분석

        An increasing number of students are giving up on learning mathematics at all grade levels, including elementary school. The study in this paper considers seven non-cognitive student characteristics to identify which are strongly correlated with giving up on mathematics at the elementary school level. Data were collected with a survey on the non-cognitive domain of mathematics learning that was developed by the Korea Foundation for the Advancement of Science and Creativity in 2015. The data were collected from 3,636 elementary school students in Korea, and we analyzed the data using the statistical computing program R. Of the seven components, efficacy and interest have a strong correlation with students` tendency to profess that they have given up trying to learn mathematics. The findings of the study shed light on which non-cognitive domain areas mathematics teachers need to pay more attention to in order to make their teaching effective. This study further investigated the correlation between responses to each of the 24 survey items and students` claim that they have given up on mathematics.         수학학습 상담을 위한 진단 검사지 개발 연구

        본 연구는 수학학습 상담 시 활용할 사전 진단 검사지를 개발하기 위한 연구이다. 이를 위하여 학생들을 진단하기 위한 발문들을 도출해 내어 검사지를 구성하고, 이에 대한 표준화 작업을 실시하여 초등 5~6학년용과 중등 1~2학년용의 진단 검사지를 제작하였다. 검사지는 총 3부로 나누어, 1부 수학학습심리, 2부 수학학습 방법, 3부 수학학습개인 성향으로 구성하였다. 수학학습심리는 ``수학학습능력 자신감``, ``수학불안``, ``수학학습 태도`` 요인으로, 수학학습 방법은 ``수학학습 자기관리``와 ``수학학습 전략`` 요인으로, 수학학습 개인 성향은 ``수학학습 습관``과 ``수학학습 관리 방법``, ``동기``, ``성향``을 묻는 문항으로 구성하였다. 이러한 진단 검사지는 학생들의 수학학습 상담을 위한 기초자료로 활용할 수 있다. In this research, The objective of the present study was to develop a preliminary diagnostic worksheet for use in consultations for learning mathematics. In order to achieve this, the worksheet was constructed with questions designed to assess the students. Through standardization, diagnostic worksheets for primary school students in grades 5 and 6 and secondary school students in grades 7 and 8 were produced. The diagnostic worksheet was divided into three sections, consisting of the psychology of learning mathematics in section 1, the methodology in learning mathematics in section 2, and personal preferences in learning mathematics in section 3. The psychology of learning mathematics was composed of questions on factors such as, "confidence in math learning ability," "math anxiety," and "attitude in learning mathematics." Moreover, factors in methodology in learning mathematics were "self-management in learning mathematics" and "math learning strategies." Those for personal preferences in learning mathematics asked about "motivation" and "preferences" with questions about "math learning habits" and "management methods for learning math." This diagnostic worksheet can be used as basic material in consulting students on learning mathematics.

        RPP(Role-Play Presentation)를 통한 교사의 AI 교사와의 지각된 상호작용성 분석

        본 연구에서는 롤플레이 게임(Role-play Game) 개념을 차용한 역할연기발표(Role-play Presentation) 기법을 적용하여 미래 교육에서 인간 교사-인공지능 교사 간의 상호작용성에 대한 교사의 인식과 기대감을 시각화함으로써 교사들의 협업과정에서 성과 있는 토론활동을 수행할 수 있도록 하였다. 분석 결과 교사는 수업 상황에서 인간 교사가 수업의 주도권과 학생과의 상호작용 활성화를 전제로 수업의 질적 향상과 개별학습을 지원할 수 있는 보조 도구로써의 인공지능 교사의 상호작용 요인들을 제안하고 있었다. As many changes in the future society represented by the age of artificial intelligence(AI) are expected to come, efforts are being made to draw the shape of the future education and various research methods are being employed to support the attempts. While many research studies use methods for deriving generalized results such as expert survey and trend analysis in along with a review of literature, there are attempts to apply the scenario methodology to explore ideas and information needed within a changing context. A scenario method, one of the experiential learning strategies, aims to seek various and alternative approaches by establishing a plan from the present conditions considering future changes. In this study, in-service teachers’ perceptions and expectations of the interactivity between human and AI teachers were visualized by applying the role-play presentation technique that grafted the concept of role-play game to the scenario method. In addition, the mandal-art method was introduced to support in conducting productive discussion during the teachers’ collaboration. This method appeared to help to depict teachers' perceptions of AI teachers in the detailed and concrete form, which may flow in the abstract otherwise. Through analyses of the teachers’ role-play presentations with the implementation of the madal-art method it was suggested that most teachers would want to collaborate with an AI teacher for improved instruction and individualized student learning while they would take the instructional authority over the AI teacher in the classroom.

        스마트 기기 활용 시니어 수학 앱 개발을 위한 어포던스 설계 전략

        본 연구는 노인 학습자를 대상으로 스마트 기기를 활용하여 수학학습 활동을 할 수 있는 수학 앱 구현의 일환으로 진행되었다. 실버 세대와 같이 아직은 스마트 기기에 익숙하지 않은 사람들에게는 학습을 위한 적합한 행동유발의 기능이 무엇보다 중요하다. 본 연구에서는 스마트 기기를 활용한 수학학습의 자료에서 교육의 목적을 달성하면서도 사용자의 편의성을 증진시키기 위하여 노인 학습자의 특성을 고려한 어포던스 설계를 구축하고자 하였다. 이러한 설계 가이드라인 제시를 위하여 시니어 스마트 교육 시스템의 어포던스를 증진시킬 수 있는 인지적, 물리적, 감각적, 어포던스의 특징 및 요소를 제시하였다. The research was carried out to be part of a mathematics app stimulation that enables the elderly to learn mathematics by using Smart devices. Particularly appropriate method / function that leads to learning is very important for people who are not accustomed to Smart devices like the elderly. The research was conducted to build affordance strategy based on the consideration of characteristics of senior learners. It aims to achieve both the goals of education through mathematics learning materials provided by smart devices and also to improve user convenience. It suggests cognitive, physical and sensory features and factors to improve affordance of Smart learning system.

        스마트 기기 활용 시니어 수학 자료 개발 연구

        본 고는 노인학습자 대상의 사용자 중심 설계에 바탕을 둔 앱 개발 연구의 일환으로, 시니어 수학 앱 개발 연구이다. 시니어 수학 앱에서 제공된 수학 콘텐츠는 ‘수리문해(Numeracy)’에 초점을 두었으며 노인 세대에 친숙한 소재와 활동적 요소를 도입하여 구성하였다. 수학 앱 개발을 위한 수학 콘텐츠와 사용자 인터페이스를 확정하기 위하여 9명의 노인학습자를 대상으로 교수 실험을 실시하였다. 또한 교수 실험 결과를 모니터링하기 위하여 CIPP 프로그램 평가모형을 활용하였다. 이에 따라 ‘교육목표’, ‘요구분석’, ‘교육환경’, ‘커리큘럼’, ‘학습내용’, ‘학습 소재’, ‘상호작용’, ‘프로그램 관리’, ‘지원환경’, ‘만족도’, ‘학습 결과’, ‘학습의 지속가능성’ 등의 요인을 점검하고 이에 대한 피드백에 따라 시니어 수학 앱을 개발하였다. This study is part of app development research based on user centered design which targets silver generation learners. The mathematical contents provided by Senior math application focus on Numeracy issues. In order to finalize the user interface and the mathematical contents which is for developing the mathematic application, teaching experiment was carried out through 9 senior learners. Also CIPP program evaluation model was used for monitoring the result of this teaching experiment. Factors such as ``educational objectives`` ``requirement analysis`` ``educational environment`` ``curriculum`` ``learning content`` ``learning matter`` ``interaction`` ``program administration`` ``supporting environment`` ``satisfaction`` ``study result`` ``substantiality of learning`` were checked and as a result the Senior Mathematic application was developed through these feedbacks.

        자기주도학습과 자기조절학습 프로그램이 수학의 인지적 영역과 정의적 영역에 주는 효과에 대한 메타분석

        The purpose of this study was to report the effects of self-directed and self-regulated learning programs on elementary, middle, and high school students through meta-analysis of previous studies. For this research, 22 of previous studies were selected which were all conducted in the country, and calculated the effect size of ‘standardized change of the mean difference’ for many factors included in each research. The findings were as follows: first, the overall effect sizes of self-directed and self regulated learning programs on elementary, middle, and high school students were .665 and .702 in the affective and cognitive domain, respectively, meaning that the self-directed and self-regulated learning programs had average or greater effects on elementary, middle, and high school students and exerted somewhat greater effects in the cognitive domain. Second, when the areas of moderating effects were divided into self directed and self-regulated learning, the former and latter had more influences on the cognitive and affective domains, respectively. Third, the elementary school level recorded a larger effect size both in the affective and cognitive domains than the secondary school level. Fourth, the findings show that the characteristics of affective domain, "reflective thinking" and "self-confidence," recorded a very large effect size both at the elementary and secondary school levels. Finally, the programs were more effective when the application period was one to four weeks in the affective domain and more than four weeks in the cognitive domain. And, Significance and implications of this research were discussed.
