In general, the deterioration induced by the freezing and thawing cyclic in concrete structures often leads to the reduction in concrete durability by the cracking or surface spalling. If it can prediction of concrete deterioration subjected to cyclic freezing and thawing, we can rationally do the design of mix proportion in view of concrete durability and the maintenance management of concrete structures. Therefore in this study a prediction model of deterioration for concrete structures subjected to the irregular freezing and thawing is developed from the results of accelerated laboratory freezing and thawing test using the constant temperature condition and the in-situ weathering data for concrete structures of nuclear power plant.

In this study, we are to investigate experimentally for the influence of properties of concrete on using insulation-form when it placed in cold weather regions. As the experimental results, the using insulation-form in winter season showed possibility of prevention effectively from initial frost damage. It is effective on the prevention of initial frost damage when the small concrete structures section used insulation form. However, it have a bad influence on strength development because the heat of hydration is higher than needed when the large section concrete structures used insulation-form. Therefore, it is necessary to consider concrete structures section size and temperature in the using insulation-form.
한랭지에 있어서 고로슬래그미분말 혼입 고유동콘크리트의 강도발현과 내동해성에 관한 연구

Concrete incorporating high volume ground granulated blast-furnace slag placed in cold weather regions might be in danger of initial frost damage because dependently on the mix proportions, the setting and the hardening would be remarkably delayed. Therefore, this study is to investigate the lowering of quality and the countermeasure to self-compacting concrete with ground granulated blast-furnace slag when being subjected to freeze at early age. As the experimental results, the self-compacting concrete attacked to initial frost damage is remarkably lowered both strength development and resistance to freezing and thawing. However, it is effective on improvement of long term strength and resistance to freezing and thawing to apply water curing to the concrete after initial frost damage. Furthermore, water curing at 30°C improves early strength as well as long term strength and resistance 세 freezing and thawing.

We developed the deterioration restraining agent(DRA) that can block deterioration factor such as CO<sub>2</sub> gas, chloride ion and enhance waterproofing ability when applying DRA to degraded concrete or new concrete structures. In this study, it investigate on penetration performance, water tightness and durability in order to analyze the performance of concrete applied deterioration restraining agent. As a result. DRA can penetrate about 10mm from concrete surface and increase water tightness, durability when applying DRA to concrete.
