이 논문은 제주 사회 통합을 위하여 제주어의 기능과 역할을 실증적으로 살 피고 있다. 논의의 출발은 ``언어는 사회적 약속``이라는 점, ``언어는 에네르게이아((energeia)적 요소``라는 점, 그리고 ``사용하는 언어가 다르면 그에 대응하는 생 각이나 행동도 다르다``는 언어상대성가설을 전제로 하고 있다. 사회 통합과 관련한 언어적 변인으로 방언에 대한 태도, 세대 차이, 지역적 차이를 들고, 그 변인에 따른 현상을 살폈다. 방언에 대한 태도는 예전에 비해 부정적인 견해가 완화되는 경향을 보이고 있으며, 남성이 여성보다 자기 방언에 대해 호감을 갖고 있다는 점을 확인하였다. 이에 비하면 세대 간 차이는 심각한 양상을 보여주고 있다. 제주 문화와 관련하여 22개의 어휘를 살핀 결과, 전체적으로 22개 모든 어휘의 생태 지수는 50% 미만이었다. 세대에 따라 어휘 사용 빈도에 많은 차이를 보이고 있어 앞으로 극복해야 할 과제이다. 지역적 차이도 발견되지만 이는 세대 간 차이보다는 덜 심각하다는 점을 지적하였다. 제주 사회 통합을 위해서는 방언에 대한 인식 전환이 필요하며, 제주 어 교육 강화, 제주 어와 표준어를 병행해서 사용하는 이중언어 생활을 할 때 제주어가 살아 있는 언어가 될 수 있게 하고, 그렇게 함으로써 제주 사회 통합이 자연스럽게 이루어지리라는 확신을 강조하였다. This paper empirically explores the functions of the Jeju dialect to unify Jeju`s society. The argument starts from the premises that "language is a social contract," "language is energeia", and the linguistic relativity hypothesis that "differences in language lead to differences in experience and thought." Attitudes towards the dialect, generation differences, and regional differences are taken as linguistic variables regarding the social unity, and the phenomena with respect to the variables are examined. Negative attitudes towards the dialect tend to alleviate, and males are more favorable to the dialect than females. Compared to this, generation differences show serious aspects. The result from exploring 22 words regarding Jeju`s culture found that overall ecological index of all 22 words was below 50 percent. There were big differences in the frequency of vocabulary use among generations, which has to be overcome in the future. Regional differences were also found, but they were less serious than generation differences. In order to integrate Jeju`s society, paradigm shifts in the perception of the dialect are needed. The Jeju dialect can be a living language when the Jeju dialect education is strengthened and bilingualism (the Jeju dialect and standard language) is accepted in the social contexts.

석주명의 제주어 연구 의의와 과제

이 글은 석주명(石宙明)의 제주도총서 가운데 『제주도방언집』, 『제주도자료집』, 『제주도수필』을 대상으로 하여 그의 제주어 연구 의의와 과제를 살펴보는데 있다. 그의 제주어 연구 의의는 첫째 해방 이후 한국인으로서는 최초로 방언집을 출간하였다는 점, ``제주어``라는 명칭을 사용한 점, ``제주어``를 남부어와 북부어로 구분한 점, ``제주어``와 다른 방언 나아가 외국어와 비교한 점, 그리고 ``제주어``를 소재로 한 이른바 언어 수필을 썼다는 점에서 그 의의를 찾았다. 이는 ``해방후 먼저 우리말을 찾고자`` 하는 석주명의 확고한 언어 의식에 바탕을 두고 있다. 비교언어학의 입장에서 제주어를 같은 어족에 속하는 몽골어와 만주어 이외의 언어와 비교한 점은 비전공자가 지니는 한계이며, ``비바리, 심방, ?삐``의 어원이 잘못 되었음을 지적함으로써 앞으로 해결해야 할 과제를 제시하였다. 그렇다고 하더라도 석주명의 제주어 연구는 후학들이 검증과 여러 방법을 통해서 풀어야 할 과제를 남기긴 하였지만 다각적으로 ``제주어``를 연구한 선구자적 의의는 자못 크다. This report focuses on the significance and task of the study of Jeju dialect based on Jeju Island Dialect, Data of Jeju Island and Jeju Island Essays which are parts of A Series of Studies on Jeju Island by Seok, Ju-myeong. He first published a book on dialect as Korean and used a term ``Jeju Language``. Moreover he divided ``Jeju language`` into Southern and Northern Jeju language and compare with other foreign languages. He also wrote some essays on Jeju language. These are why his study is so important and how deeply he was eager to find our language after liberation. As a matter of comparative linguistics, he compared Jeju language with other languages instead of Mogolian and Manchu which are Altaic and it showed his limitation not as a specialist. Etymologies of ``bibari``, ``simbang`` and ``nomppi`` are incorrect as well. These errors are pointed out in this report so it suggests a new task we should take care of. Seok, Ju-myeong, as a pioneer, played an important role in the study of Jeju language in many ways even though he left many tasks we have to solve and demonstrate.

A regional language, a different name of a dialect, is a language traditionally spoken in a particular area to show local people`s thoughts and sentiment. Regional literature is also national literature which expresses local identity and distinctiveness. It contains political and economical conditions, environment, custom, localism, and tradition. There is close connections between the regional language and literature. It is necessary to have the united orthography in order that regional literature becomes national literature.

다모듈 다위상 양방향 배터리 충방전 시스템의 제어기 설계 및 동특성 해석

본 논문에서는 다모듈 다위상 양방향 배터리 충방전 회로의 소신호 특성을 해석하여, 적절한 제어기 및 보상기 회로설계를 제안한다. 제안된 회로를 바탕으로 폐루프 응답 특성을 시뮬레이션과 측정을 하여 분석하고 검증한다. 최종적으로 설계된 제어기를 적용하여 양방향 배터리 충방전 회로를 동작 시켜봄으로써 안정성과 부하변동에 따른 응답 특성을 관측해 본다.

무게중심과 수평잡기를 활용한 프로젝트학습이 초등 과학영재의 과학 관련 태도에 미치는 영향

이 연구는 무게중심과 수평잡기를 활용한 프로젝트학습이 초등 과학영재의 과학 관련 태도에 영향을 미치는지 분석하는 것이다. 이를 위해 J시 소재 과학영재학급의 초등 과학영재 38명을 대상으로 프로젝트학습을 적용하였다. 과학에 대한 태도와 과학적 태도에 대한 사전 사후검사를 실시하였고, 대응표본 t-검정을 이용해 검사 결과를 분석하였다. 분석 결과 초등 과학영재들의 과학에 대한 태도와 과학적 태도는 사전 사후검사 간 통계적으로 유의미한 차이를 나타냈다. 특히 과학에 대한 인식은 ‘과학에 대한 인식’, ‘과학교육에 대한 인식’, ‘과학 관련 직업에 대한 인식’, ‘과학-기술-사회의 상호관련성에 대한 인식’의 전체 범주에서 유의미한 차이를 보였다. 과학적 태도에서는 호기심, 개방성, 협동성, 끈기성, 창의성이 사후검사에서 유의미하게 높은 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 결과를 토대로 ‘수평잡기’를 활용한 프로젝트학습이 초등 과학영재의 과학 관련 태도에 긍정적인 영향을 미친 것으로 판단된다. 이 연구의 결과는 학습자 스스로 과제를 수행토록 하고, 모둠원들과 협력하도록 하는 프로젝트학습 활동이 과학영재교육 현장에서 효과적인 교수 전략임을 시사하고 있다. This study was to analyze whether project learning using leveling and center of gravity affects science-related attitudes of science gifted students in elementary school. To this end, project learning was applied to 38 scientifically gifted elementary students in scientifically gifted classes located in J city. Pre and post-test were conducted on the attitude toward science and the scientific attitude, and the test results were analyzed using the paired sample t-test. As a result of the analysis, the scientifically gifted elementary students’ attitude toward science and the scientific attitude showed a statistically significant difference between the pre and post-test. In particular, the perception toward science showed significant differences in all categories of perception of science , perception of science education , perception of science-related job , and perception of the interrelationship among science-technology-society . In the scientific attitudes, curiosity, openness, cooperation, tenacity, and creativity were found to be significantly higher in the post-검정. Based on these results, it is judged that project learning using ‘leveling’ had a positive effect on science-related attitudes of scientifically gifted elementary students. The results of this study suggest that project learning activities that allow learners to perform tasks on their own and cooperate with group members are effective teaching strategy in the field of scientifically gifted education.

새로 발굴한 방언 (20)

이 글은 지금까지 소개되지 않은 방언 어휘를 새로 발굴해서 소개하는 스무번째 연재물이다. ‘새로 발굴한 방언(20)’에 소개한 어휘들은 각 지역의 장년층 이상의 토박이들이 일상생활에서 쓰이고 있는 것들이다. 여기에 새로 소개하는 방언 어휘는 충청도와 전라도, 제주도, 경상도 지역에서 수집한 열한 개다. 이 글에 소개하는 충청도 방언은 지금은 거의 사라진 전통 혼례식과 관련된 어휘 두 개이고, 전라도 방언은 역사적인 변천을 거친 가축을 직업적으로 잡는 사람, 표준어의 의미와 용법과 다른 동사 두 개 등 세 개다. 그리고 제주도 방언은 소와 관련된 어휘 세 개가 소개되었고 경상도 방언은 건물과 관련된 어휘 두 개와 벼농사와 관련된 어휘 하나 등 세 개다. 이 글에 새로 소개된 방언 어휘들은 표준어와 형태는 같지만 의미나 용법에 차이를 보이는 것도 있고, 특정 지역에 한정되어 쓰이는 어휘도 있다. 용법이나 의미는 같지만 형태만 다른 것들도 있고 어원(語源)이나 어휘 체계에 차이가 있는 예들도 있고, 사회문화적인 차이로 방언 간에 차이를 보이는 어휘들도 있다. 따라서 “새로 발굴한 방언”에서 소개하는 방언형과 표준어를 고식적으로 대응시키는 일은 삼가야 된다. 또한 여기에 소개하는 어휘들은 사용지역으로 표시된 관련 지역 외에서도 형태나 의미와 용법에서 차이를 달리하여 쓰일 수도 있다는 점에 유념해야 한다. The purpose of this paper is to introduce and investigate the new dialect words that are used in a regional dialect in Korea. Eleven dialect words are introduced in this paper. This eleven dialect words are all the important linguistic material from the lexical and cultural point of view. This dialect materials were recorded from native speaker's dialogue or dictation. This dialects include two new words in Chungcheong-do and three new words in Jeolla-do, Jeju-do and Kyeongsang-do dialect respectively. Chungcheong-do dialect words were written by Park Kyeongrae(Semyung University). All two words are related with a traditional wedding. Jeolla-do dialect words were written by Lee Gigap(Mokpo National University). Three words are related with a butcher and two verb. Jeju-do dialect words were written by Kang Youngbong(Jeju National University). Three words are related with a cow all. We set out the standard word corresponds to dialect, a part of speech, a definition of the dialect word, a diversity forms of the each dialect word, related area, illustrative sentences and explanation to each dialect word. We can find through this work that the new dialect words makes significant contribution to study of the dialect. And the new dialect words enrich our vocabulary.
