한국의 전통 그래뉼레이션에 관한 연구 -제작과정 분석을 중심으로-

본 연구는 한국 고대의 삼국시대에 꽃피웠지만 현재는 사용되지 않고 있는 우리나라 전통 그래뉼레이션의 제작기술 연구이다. 기법의 제작기술 연구에 앞서 현재 국내에서 정립되지 못한 기법의 명칭과 의미가 기초사료의 구축을 어렵게 만드는 요인으로 작용하고 있어 명칭과 의미의 고찰을 선행하였다. 명칭은 그래뉼레이션으로 통일하였으며 금, 은, 동 또는 이들의 합금으로 알갱이를 만들고, 공융접합 방식으로 접합하는 독립적인 금속 세공장식기법으로 정의하였다. 연구의 대상은 우리나라에서 발전한 그래뉼레이션의 제작과정이며 연구방법은 기법을 삼국시대 유물의 표면묘사와 일치하게 재현하는 김영창 누금공예연구소 소장의 시연을 분석 및 정리하였다. 우리나라의 그래뉼레이션은 서구 문화권에서 실크로드를 통해 고구려와 백제, 신라로 전래된 기법이므로 서양방식의 원리와 과정을 선행 분석하였으며 이것은 4장에서 자세히 다루었다. 그래뉼레이션은 금속 알갱이를 이용한 특수한 접합 방식으로 알갱이와 바탕금속간의 접착 면이 뚜렷하게 구분되어 세밀한 표현과 묘사에 탁월한 기법이다. 현재 우리나라에 남아있는 김영창의 시연을 분석한 결과 한국적 방식의 구리화합물 제조와 특유의 첨가제를 개발해 사용하는 등 서양에서 전래된 기법이 우리나라에 정착하여 독자적으로 발전하였으며 기술력도 빼어나다는 것을 알 수 있다. 본 연구를 통하여 우리나라에 전래된 그래뉼레이션이 향후 한국의 금속공예기법으로써 지속가능한 연구주제가 되어 현대적 접목이 이루어지기를 기대한다. The purpose of this study is to investigate Korean Traditional Granulation which had reached its climax in the Three Kingdoms of Korea but is not currently being used. Before the research, this study contemplates about name and meaning of the technique, which has undefined in Korea and made it difficult to build a basis for the study. This study standardizes the name of technique as granulation and defines it as an independent metal craft technique which makes granules with gold, silver, copper or alloy of them and binds metals by using Eutectic Soldering. The subject of this study is advanced production process of our Granulation Technique and the method of this study is analyzing and organizing of demonstration of Kim Young Chang, a head of Granulation Laboratory, who reenacts process and technique as relics of Silla. Granulation was conveyed from western cultural area to Goguryeo, Baekje and Silla along the Silk Road. Therefore, this study analyzed the principle and technical process of western Granulation, which is covered in detail in Chapter 4. Granulation refers to the specific binding process in which adheres a granule to a metal surface. It is also known as Eutectic Soldering, one that has distinctly divided adhesive surface between grain and metal surface so it has been exceptional technique for delicate description. Analysis result of demonstration of Kim Young Chang, now remanent in Korea, show our Granulation was from western but developed of its own, like production of copper compound in Korean way and invention of special additive, also validate our granulation is remarkable. It is expected to be a sustainable subject of research as an independent Korean metal craft technique that combines with modern metal craft.

SWEEPA: 업무 효율성 향상을 위한 실내 폐기물 추적 시스템 디자인

본 연구는 청소 용역 노동자와 용역 업체를 대상으로 실내에서 폐기물을 수집하는 과정을 조사하고, 기술적 적용을 통해 보다 효율적인 폐기물 수집시스템을 제시한다. 연구를 통해 설계된 Sweepa 시스템은 센서를 통해 폐기물 양을 추적하여 사용자가 폐기물 수집 경로를 자율적으로 설계하고, 축적된 데이터베이스 분석을 통해 생산적인 인적 자원 관리를 가능케 한다. Sweepa is an indoor waste monitoring system that allows workers to check the status level of waste in trashcans throughout a site. By using sensors to measure the fill-level of waste in the trashcans, Sweepa notifies cleaning staff members which trashcans need to be emptied. Through this, Sweepa aims to enhance productivity, increase efficiency and improve the work environment of the cleaning staff.
