        식사대용 식품(Ready-to-eat meals) 중 병원성 세균의 분포와 항생제 감수성 양상

        본 연구에서는 2005년 11월부터 2006년 3월 초까지 497개의 초밥, 김밥, 샌드위치 등의 식사대용 식품 검체를 수거하여 식품공전을 토대로 식사대용 식품에서 유래되는 미생물학적 인 오염도를 조사하고, 현대 사회에서 항생제 사용의 오남용으로 항생제 내성이 심각한 상황을고려하여 분리된 균에 대한 항생제 감수성 양상에 대하여 알아보고자 하였다. 수거된 검체를 실험한 결과 김밥에서 4개(1.4%)의 Escherichia coli가 분리되었고, 초밥, 샌드위치 등에서는 분리되지 앓았다. 또한 김밥에서 12개(4.4%), 초밥에서 8개(5.4%), 샌드위치에서 2개(4.3%)로 총22개(4.4%)의 Staphylococcus aureus가 분리되었다. 식사대용 식품에서 분리된 26개의 균주로 National Committee for Clinical Laboratory Standards (NCCLS)의 기준에 의거하여 vancomycin, teicoplanin, gentamycin, cipro-floxacin, synercid, cefotaxime, lincomycin, meropenem, cefazolin, amoxicillin-clavulanic acid으로 총 10개의 항생제를 사용하여 E. coli와 S. aureus의 항생제 감수성 양상을 파악해 보고자 하였다. 실험 결과 식사대용 식품에서 분리된 E. coli 4균주의 항생제 감수성 양상은 그람 음성균 치료에 주로 사용되는 항생제인 gentamycin, ciprofloxacin, cefotaxine, meropenem, cefazolin에 대해서는 감수성이 높다고 판단되었으나 amoxicillin-clavulanic acid에 대해서는 내성을 나타내었고, S. aureus의 항생제 감수성은 비교적 높다고 판단되었다. This study was performed in order to measure the level of food-borne pathogenic bacteria and antibiotic resistance pattern of found ready to eat meals such as Him-bap, Cho-bap, Hamburger, Sandwich and packed lunch boxes. A total of 497 samples were collected from supermarket and department of Seoul, Kyung-ki, Inctleon, Kang-won, Chung-Cheong from November, 2005 to March, 2006. The contaminated microorganisms were in most cases tract relative strain like E. coli and S. aureus. Result have shown E. coli was detected 4 strains and S. aureus was detected 22 strains. 26 strains were also tested the antibiotic resistance pattern. 26 strains were shown to be relatively susceptible to synercid, vancomycin, teicoplanin, ciprofloxacin, gentamycin, lincomycn, cefotaxime, meropenem, cephalosporin, amoxicillin-clavulanic acid by the MIC dilution method, but E. coli 1 strain was resistant to amoxicillin-clavulanic acid.

        12주 복합운동프로그램이 여대생의 신체조성, 체력 및 피부건강에 미치는 효과

        The purpose of this study was to analyze the effects of exercise program on the body composition, physical fitness factors and skin function of female college students. We recruited a total of 36 female students in 2015 ~ 2016 academic year, and they were voluntarily assigned into control group(n=16) and exercise group(n=20). Exercise group trained for 2 hr/day, for 3 day/week for 12 weeks. Although there were no significant differences in any body composition parameters between controls and exercise group, some physical fitness factors such as back strength, right shoulder flexibility and maximum oxygen consumption(VO₂max) were significantly improved in exercise group than controls, respectively(p<.05). In the case of skin function, although statistically not significant, exercise groups howed theelevation in moisture as well as melan in index compared with controls. Conclusion. Although our intervention showed the beneficial effect in physical fitness and skin moisture, further studies will be required to analyze the long-term efficiency and safety of this intervention.

        한국인 검도 선수군에서 COMT 및 Apo(a) 유전자 다형성의 분포

        In order to investigate the precise genetic factors related to physical, personalistic and metabolic characteristics of Korean kumdo players, we performed the genetic association study using catechol-O-methyltransferase(COMT) gene for physical fitness as well as personality trait and apolipoprotein (a)(Apo(a)) gene for metabolic characteristics as candidate genes, respectively. A total of 115 male Korean kumdo players were participated in this study, and several clinical parameters such as body compopsition, physical fitness factor, serum biochemical parameters and personality were measured from them. Also, Val158Met polymorphism in COMT gene as well as +93C/T polymorphism in Apo(a) gene were analyzed by SNaPshot method using total genomic DNA isolated from their peripheral vein, respectively. In the case of Val158Met polymorphism in COMT gene, this polymorphism was significantly associated with right grip strength in our subjects and, especially, the kumdo players with Met/Met genotype indicated higher grip strength than those with Val/Val or Val/Met genotypes(p<.05). However, in the case of +93C/T polymorphism in Apo(a) gene, this polymorphism was not significantly associated with any serum biochemical parameters including serum Lipoprotein(a)(Lp(a)) level in our subjects, respectively. In summary, Val158Met polymorphism in COMT gene may be one of useful genetic markers influencing grip strength in male Korean kumdo players.

        Influences of Exercise Program with Encouragement in a Boarding Camp on Physical Function and Blood BDNF Level in College Women

        연구목적 : 비록 활발한 신체활동과 규칙적인 운동의 수행이 신체적으로나 정신적으로 유익한 건강증진효과를 나타낸다는 많은 연구결과들이 알려져 있기는 하지만, 규칙적인 운동 프로그램의 수행과 관련해서 사회적인 격려의 영향을 분석한 연구결과는 매우 부족한 상태에 있다. 이러한 이유로 인하여, 본 연구에서는 운동 프로그램의 수행에 있어서 사회적인 격려의 영향을 분석하기 위한 연구를 수행하였다. 연구방법 : 총 46명의 여대생들(평균 연령; 19.5 ± 0.1세)이 본 연구에 참여하였으며, 이들은 자발적인 의사에 따라서, 대조군(n = 14)과 운동군(n = 32)으로 나누어졌으며, 운동군의 경우에는, 격려의 유무에 따라서, 격려-운동군(n = 15)과 비격려-운동군(n = 17)으로 다시 세분하였다. 본 연구에 참여한연구 참여자들 중에서, 격려의 여부와 관계 없이 모든 운동군(n = 32)은 총 10일 동안에 걸쳐서 기숙사의 캠프에서 합숙 생활을 하면서, 규칙적인 운동 프로그램을 수행하였다. 또한, 본 연구에 참여한 모든 연구 참여자들(n = 46)은 본 연구 프로그램을 수행하기 전과 후의 2 차례에 걸쳐서 신체구성, 체력요인 및 혈중 생화학적인 변인들에 대한 측정과 검사를 수행하였다. 연구결과 : 반복측정에 의한 이원분산분석을 수행한 결과, 정신건강의 지표인 혈중 IGF-1 농도와 함께, BDNF 농도에 있어서, 시기와 집단에 의한 유의미한 상호작용 효과가 관측되었을 뿐 아니라, 격려-운동군의 경우에는, 본 연구 프로그램의 수행에 의해서 혈중 IGF-1 농도와 BDNF 농도가 각각 대략 4.1% 및 35.1% 정도씩 증가하는 양상을 나타내었다. 하지만, 격려-비운동군의 경우에는 각각 대략 10.9%와 18.8% 정도씩 감소하는 양상을 나타내었을 뿐 아니라, 그 농도가 대조군보다도 더 낮아진 양상을 나타내었다. 결론 : 본 연구결과를 요약하면, 기숙사의 캠프와 같이 다소 통제된 상황 하에서 운동 프로그램을 수행하는 경우에는, 운동 프로그램의 담당자에 의한 지속적인 관심과 격려가 운동 프로그램을 수행하는 참여자들의 정신건강을 나타내는 지표의 일종인 혈중 BDNF 농도를 증가시키는데 있어서 유용한 수단이 될 수 있음을 시사하고 있다. 따라서, 추후에는, 보다 더 많은 피험자들을 대상으로 해서, 본 연구결과의 재현성 여부를 입증하기 위한 후속연구를 수행하는 일이 필요할 것으로 생각된다.

        BMX 레이서의 신체적 · 심리적 요인에 대한 CNTF 및 COMT 유전자 다형성의 영향

        The purpose of this study was to compare physical and psychological factors of Korean male controls and bicycle motorcross(BMX) racers, and analyze the influences of genetic polymorphisms in the CNTF(1357G/A, rs#1800169) and COMT(Val158Met, rs#4680) genes. A total of 68 unrelated males including 38 controls(mean age; 19.7 years) and BMX racers(mean age; 23.5 years) were participated in this study, and body composition, right grip strength and personality trait measured from all subjects studied. In addition, total genomic DNA was isolated from peripheral vein blood of each subject, and two genetic polymorphisms in both CNTF and COMT genes were analyzed by SNaPshot method. There was the significant difference in right grip strength value between male controls and BMX racers(p<.05). With respect to personality trait, male BMX racers indicated significantly higher novelty seeking(NS) value as well as lower harm avoidance(HA) and reward dependence(RD) values than those of the same sex controls(p<.05). There were no significant differences in genotype and allele distributions of G1357A polymorphism in CNTF gene and Val158Met polymorphism in COMT gene between normal controls and BMX racers, respectively. However, the Val158Met polymorphism in COMT gene indicated the marginal association with NS2 subscale of NS scale as well as significant association with %body fat in BMX racers(p<.05). Further studies using more candidate genes and various extreme sports items including snowboard and alpine ski will be required to clarify the precise genetic predisposition related to physical and psychological factors of extreme sports.

        대학운동선수 및 체육학과 학생들의 에스트로젠 수용체-α 유전자 다형성 분포와 생리학적 변인들의 특성차이

        Blood pressure, obesity and bone mineral density are multifactorial traits influenced by genetic and environmental factors. The purpose of this study was to clarify the associations among three genetic polymorphisms in the ER-α gene and several clinical phenotypes in college athletes and major students in physical education. Seventy two healthy young men including 34 athletes and 38 controls were recruited in the sudy. Pheripheral blood samples were collected from each individuals and total genomic DNA were isolated from buffy coat Experiments were performed by anthropometric and genetic nalyses. Statistical analysis were carried out using unpaired t-test or one-way ANOVA test for quantitative data such as anthropometrical and biochemical parameters, and x2-test for categorical data such as genotype and allele distributions. The results were produced as follows. Firstly, for PouII RFLP in 5-UTR of ER-α gene, this site was monomorphic in our subjects, and further analysis could not performed. Secondly, in the case of PoaII RFLP in the intron 1 of this gene, this polymorphism was significantly associated with SBP and DBP values in controls (p<.05). Therefore, this polymorphism might be useful as a genetic marker for inter-individual susceptibility in blood pressure regulation. Lastly, XbaI RFLP in the intron 1 of this gene was significantly associated with SBP, DBP, height, weight, BMR and spinal BMC values in young men (p<.05). Therefore, it is likely that this polymorphism is useful as a predictive marker for inter-individual susceptibility to several clinical phenotypes such as blood pressure, obesity and bone mineral density in korean college athletes and major students in physical education.

        9주 동안에 걸친 함초섭취 및 복합운동이 비만 여대생에 대한 신체조성, 혈중 생화학적 변인 및 피부미용에 미치는 효과

        This study tried to investigate the effects of jointed grasswort(Salicornia herbacea L.) consumption and combined exercise during 9 weeks on the body composition, blood biochemical parameters and skin function in women of 20 years. A total of 40 female subjects were participated in this study, and they were randomly divided into 4 gropus including placebo group(n=10), jointed grasswort group(n=10), placebo + exercise group(n=10) and jointed grasswort + exercise group(n=10), respectively. In the case of the body composition, jointed grasswort + exercise group indicated higher increase in fat-free mass, muscle mass and skeletal muscle mass than other groups after experiment during 9 weeks(p<.05). However, jointed grasswort consumption and/or combined exercise program during 9 weeks did not show any beneficial effects for blood lipid profiles or C-reactive protein(CRP) level. With respect to skin function, only jointed grasswort consumption show significanly higher skin moisturing effect than other groups(P<.05). In summary, data from our study suggest that although jointed grasswort consumption with combined exercise may be useful as the body composition of participants, it likely that only grasswort consumption are beneficial to attain the skin moisturing effect. Further studies using larger sample size and longer study period will be required.

      • 한국인 집단에서 사립체 DNA에 존재하는 5178 A/C 다형성과 고혈압과의 관련성에 관한 연구

        고혈압은 다양한 유전적 요인과 환경적 요인이 상호작용하는 다인자성 질환으로 알려져 있으며, 최근의 연구에 의하면 사립체 DNA에 존재하는 유전적 다형성이 고혈압과 유의한 관련성을 나타낸다는 보고가 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 한국인 집단을 대상으로 하여 사립체 DNA의 5178번째 위치의 염기서열에 존재하는 A/C 다형성이 고혈압과 관련성을 나타내는지를 분석하였다. 환자-대조군 연구를 수행한 결과, 사립체 DNA의 5178번째 위치에 존재하는 다형성의 대립 유전자 빈도는 한국인에서 고혈압군과 정상 혈압군 사이에 유의한 차이를 나타내지 않았다. 따라서, 이 다형성은 적어도 한국인에 대해서는 고혈압에 유의하게 영향을 미치는 유전적 소인은 아닌 것으로 사료된다.

        50대의 비만한 중년여성의 함초섭취와 복합운동 프로그램의 수행이 건강증진 및 체력향상에 미치는 영향

        In this study, we investigated the effects of jointed grasswort(Salicornia herbacea L.) consumption and combined exercise during 8 weeks on ther body composition, physical fitness factors and blood biochemical markers including lipid and iron metabolism in middle-aged(mean age: 55.1±4.1 years) obese women. A total of 109 middle-aged women were participated in this study, and they were classified into 4 study groups such as placebo group(n=30), jointed grasswort group(n=26), placebo + exercise group(n=25) and jointed grasswort+exercise group(n=28), respectively. In the case of jointed grasswort group and jointed grasswort+exercise group, the jointed grasswort bolus of 15 g per day for 8 weeks were consumed, and combined exercise program including aerobic exercise and resistance exercise were performed for 8 weeks in placebo+exercise group and jointed grasswort+exercise group. When we compared the changes by these interventions on health or physical fitness associated variables among 4 groups, there were significant difference in the changes of fat mass and leg flexion strength(LFS) values by these interventions among 4 groups, respectively(p<.05), and especially, jointed grasswort + exercise group showed more positive effects than other 3 groups. Therefore, our data suggest that jointed grasswort consumption and the practice of combined exercise mayt be useful tool in the reduction of body fat and the improvement of LFS value in middele-aged women of 50 years. Further studies using larger sample size including male subjects will be required to clarify the health-improving effects by these interventions.
