        마이크로다공성재료의 합성과 촉매적성능 (CHA, ERI, and MTT types)

        삼차원적 골격구조를 가지며 세공의 크기와 산성도가 유사한 SAPO-44, SAPO-34(CHA type), SAPO-17(ERI type), 그리고 1차원적 고격구조를 가진 ZSM-23(MTT type) 촉매재료를 합성하고, 메탄올 전환방응에 있어서의 촉매적 성능을 비교 검토하였다. 이들의 산성도 세기는 SAPO-44>SAPO-34>SAPO-17>ZSM-23 순으로 나타났다. 메탄올 전환반응을 비교한 결과, 삼차원적 골격구조를 가지고 있는 SAPO-34와 SAPO-44에서 높은 에티렌 선택성이 얻어졌으며, 특히 Ni을 골격내에 도입시켰을 때 그 선택율은 더욱 증가하였다. 반면에 1차원적 골격구조를 가지고 있는 ZSM-23에서는 입체적 형상선택성의 감소로 올레핀보다는 파라핀의 선택율이 우세하였다. This work was focused on the synthesis and their catalytic performance on microporous materials having various pore types and dimensions in structures, such as the SAPO-34 and the SAPO-44 with CHA type, the SAPO-17 with ERI type of three dimensional structures, and the ZSM-23 with MTT type of one dimensional structure. Synthesized materials exhibited various acidities and the selectivities to olefin in methanol conversion. As a result, the order of their acid strength was as follows; SAPO-44>SAPO-34>SAPO-17>ZSM-5. On the other hand, the CHA type materials, such as SAPO-34 and SAPO-44, had high selectivity to light olefins(ethylene or propylene), and ZSM-23 with MTT typ of one dimensional structure showed high selectivity to paraffins over $\textrm{C}_{5}$~. This result is a proof that the structure in material had strong influence on catalytic performance. In addition, a surprising result is that the catalytic selectivity to ethylene enhanced on Ni-corporated materials compared with the non-corporated.

        생시르 기숙학교를 통해 본 루이 14세의 귀족정책

        This thesis is to examine Louis ⅩⅣ s policy of nobility by analyzing his administrative and financial support the Saint-Cyr and the students family. The mission of the Saint-Cyr established at the latter half of Louis ⅩⅣ s reign was to educate the poor noble girls to be wives as well as mothers of the provincial nobilities, that is to make loyal women. This corresponded well with Louis ⅩⅣ s policy of nobility. Louis ⅩⅣ s cultural policy was to hold social and cultural hegemony by producing subjects to the reign of the absolute authority. Louis ⅩⅣ needed to protect and make the traditional nobility secure because the nobility was essential to keep his reign. Louis ⅩⅣ tried to make efforts to integrate and control over the nobilities through a kind of compromise to revive the value of the traditional nobility and to strengthen the nobility. While Ordre militaire de Saint-Louis and Hootel des Invalides were a part of the nobility policy focusing on the noble men, the Saint-Cyr was the policy to produce the noble women being obedient through education and to bring up subjects from home, the root of society by the women. Therefore, the Saint-Cyr might be acknowledged to Louis ⅩⅣ as a kind of the national education institution to produce subjects necessary to keep its reign. Louis ⅩⅣ s these efforts can be easily found in his unstinted administrative and financial support to the Saint-Cyr from the stage of establishment. The fact itself that the only students in at least the fourth (4th) generation of the noble family in the side of father approve that the Saint-Cyr was for the traditional nobility from the beginning.

        오이디푸스 콤플렉스를 넘어서: 로렌스와 들뢰즈의 정신분석학 비판

        Though criticized for the apparently eccentric ideas quite different from those of Western scientific minds, D. H. Lawrence`s two psychological books, Psychology and the Unconscious and Fantasia of the Unconscious, remain central to understanding psychology in general as well as the novelist`s ethics and philosophy of life. For Lawrence, the unconscious of Freudian psychoanalysis has no positive meaning because the whole body of our repressions makes up our unconscious; it all along the line fails to determine the nature of the pristine unconscious in man. He points out that the incest motive is just a logical deduction of the human reason, which has recourse to this last extremity to save itself. Rather, the true unconscious is the spontaneous life-motive in every single living creature. It is underivable and inconceivable as a general thing or a mathematical unit because it exists only in living creatures. Furthermore, the baby`s first consciousness develops not from the brain, but from the solar plexus in the belly, which indicates the psychical to Lawrence is inseparable from the physical in its nature. In Anti-Oedipus published in 1972, Gille Deleuze and Felix Gattari find in Lawrence the poignant critic of Freudian psychoanalysis. They argue that Oedipus is not a real repressing representative, but a factitious product of the displaced psychic repression. So the desiring-machine, which is neither the living nor the machine, can escape the Oedipal codes which force the individuals to adjust to a unified whole. Also, "the body without organs" can provide the way out of the psychological framework of capitalism by preferring differences over uniformity, flows over unities, and the nomadic over the sedentary. However, having little regard for the life that is only in the living individuals, they ultimately fail to escape the idealistic nature of Western philosophy and determine the nature of true unconscious.

      • 저항과 재생 - D. H. Lawrence의 The Rainbow 중심으로

          Lawrence believes that the most serious disease of the industrial civilization was caused by rigid intellectualism, scientism, mammonism, possessiveness and the distorted idea about sex. And lawrence, in his novel, The Rainbow, continues to investigate how we should realize and retain the real life of human beings against all those evils and the social diseases of the industrial world. Furthermore, he seeks for the possibilities of the renewal of the society and individuals. As a solution to the problems, in his novel, he proposes the self-realization and the restoration of the real human relationships. In The Rainbow, Ursula, the highly educated woman of the third generation resists the severe trials in her life. And she tries to establish self-sufficiency and to attain self-realization with her intellect and sensibility. But she also can"t reach this goal, and only alludes to some hope that she will never give up her efforts that she will be able to achieve it in the future.

        『화이트 노이즈』를 통해 본 기술시대의 욕망

        This paper is an attempt to read Don DeLillo`s White Noise as a diagnosis of the age of modern technology. In his work, DeLillo explores the way technology has become not merely a pervasive and mortal threat to each of the characters, but also a deeply ingrained mode of existing and way of thinking. The fragmentary narrative technique such as the abrupt intrusion of TV sounds and the names of commercial goods into the plot serves to represent the contemporary American culture. Laden with "lust removed from nature", the technologically oriented people are deeply addicted to consumerism and the fear of death; as the author put it once, the extraordinary wonder of things is somehow related to the death fear that has been repressed in our perception. Jack, the professor-narrator whose major is Hitler, feels authenticated and confirmed when he is accepted by the invisible monetary system, while his wife Babbett is obsessed with unfathomable fear of death. In the middle of the novel, Jack and his family have to be evacuated from their Midwestern town after "the airborne toxic event". In chapter 21, we get to observe the absurdity and numbness of modern technological system; Simuvac who is in charge of the situation sees here only a chance to use the real event in order to rehearse the simulation, and Babbett believes every aspect of human experience can be corrected through technology. This is precisely the way technology reduces reality to a postmodern simulacrum. In the children of the novel who look precocious and a little pessimistic we may find the way to overcome the technological way of thinking. When Heinrich`s skeptic, yet intelligent exploration of the way of things around him is put together with Wilder`s innocent assurance, we can find a glimpse of hope to get out of the apocalyptic world.
