이 연구에서는 깊은보-내부기둥 접합부의 내진성능평가를 위한 비선형 유한요소해석 기법을 제시하였다. 사용된 프로그램은 철근콘크리트 구조물의 해석을 위한 RCAHEST이다. 깊은보-내부기둥 접합부의 강도, 연성도 등 거동특성을 파악하기 위한 반복횡하중 실험을 수행하였다. 실험의 변수로는 축력과 횡방향 철근량을 정하였다. 이 연구에서는 깊은보-내부기둥 접합부의 내진성능평가를 위해 제안한 해석기법을 신뢰성 있는 실험결과와 비교하여 그 타당성을 검증하였다. This paper presents a nonlinear finite element analysis procedure for the seismic performance assessment of deep beam-and-interior column joints. A computer program, named RCAHEST(Reinforced Concrete Analysis in Higher Evaluation System Technology), for the analysis of reinforced concrete structures was used. Horizontal cyclic load tests were conducted to estimate the strength, ductility, and behavioral characteristics of deep beam-and-interior column joints. Experimental parameters are axial forces and amount of transverse reinforcement. The proposed numerical method for the seismic performance assessment of deep beam-and-interior column joints is verified by comparison of its results with reliable experimental results.
웹GIS를 이용한 실시간 자연재해 피해정보 관리시스템 개발에 관한 연구

본 연구에서는 태풍, 호우 등의 자연재해에 따른 공공시설물의 피해를 조사하여 광역적 무선통신을 통해 웹GIS의 지도상에 실시간으로 표출함으로써 보다 신속하고 효율적인 피해정보의 제공방안을 연구하였다. 연구 대상지역은 여름철 대형 태풍과 집중호우로 인한 피해가 반복되는 부산시 강서구지역 약 $180km^2$를 선정하였으며, 관련 데이터베이스는 GIS 데이터베이스와 재해 데이터베이스로 나뉘어 구축하였다. GIS 데이터베이스는 1:5,000 및 1:1,000 수치지도를 기반으로 행정경계 등 7개의 주제도로 구축하였고, IKONOS위성의 1m급 고해상도 위성영상을 이용하여 실제 피해현장과 주변 환경에 관한 정보들을 제공할 수 있도록 하였다. 웹GIS 시스템은 피해현황을 GIS 데이터와 함께 실시간으로 제공함으로써 신속한 현장파악, 대응책 마련과 복구계획 수립 등을 위한 의사결정에 기여가 매우 높을 것으로 예상된다. 나아가 소방방재청에서 구축하고 있는 NDMS(National Disaster Management System, 국가재난관리시스템)와 연계를 통하여 여러 국가기관에서 얻어지는 다양한 피해정보의 제공 또한 가능할 것으로 사료된다. This study mainly focused on the development of real-time based damage investigation system using web-GIS. The study area was Gangseo-Gu in Busan where frequently has relatively higher magnitude of damages from natural disasters. GIS DB was built to provide geospatial data such as 1:1,000 and 1:5,000 topographic maps and IKONOS high resolution satellite data. The web-GIS system has demonstrated the higher contribution for the better response and recovery against any type of natural disasters through real-time communication and data dissemination among government agencies and personnel. However, further researches need to be made to improve system capabilities. In addition, for more effective system operation and maximizing the benefits of exploiting web-GIS system, linkage with national DB such as NDMS is essential.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the performance of hollow reinforced concrete bridge column systems with reinforcement details for material quantity reduction. The proposed reinforcement details have economic feasibility and rationality and make construction periods shorter. A model of hollow reinforced concrete bridge columns was tested under a constant axial load and a quasi-static cyclically reversed horizontal load. As a result, proposed reinforcement details for material quantity reduction were equal to existing reinforcement details in terms of required performance. The companion paper presents the experimental and analytical study for the performance assessment of hollow reinforced concrete bridge column systems with reinforcement details for material quantity reduction.

We injection molded a thin type of plate and wedge type of plate with micro prizm patterns on its surface and investigated the fidelity of replication of the micro pattern depending on the process parameter such as mold temperature, melt temperature, injection rate or packing pressure. The size of the $90^{\circ}$ prizm pattern is $50{\mu}m$ and the size of the plate is about $335mm{\times}213mm$ and $400mm{\times}400mm$. The thicknesses are 2.6mm and 0.7mm at each edge of the wedge type of plate and 1mm at each edge of the thin type of plate. The fidelity of the replication turned out quite different according to the process parameters and location of the patterns on the plate. We measured the cavity pressure and temperature in real-time during the molding to analyze the effect of the local melt pressure and temperature on the micro pattern replication.
고속 월쉬 변환을 이용한 이동 유체간 열교환 상태 해석에 관한 연구

분포정수계는 시스템이 두 개 이상의 독립변수로 표현되면서 또한 각 변수에 대한 미분을 포함하는 편미분 방정식으로 표현되므로, 분포정수계에 직접적인 최적제어 논리를 도입하는 것은 매우 어렵다. 본 연구에서 제시하고자하는 새로운 알고리즘은 월쉬 함수 고유특성을 그대로 유지할 수 있는 유한급수전개방법을 이용함과 동시에 계산의 편리성을 위하여 고속 월쉬 변환을 사용하는 것으로서, 본 연구 방법을 사용하면 역행렬 연산이 필요 없게 되므로 기존의 방법에 의해 처리하기 힘든 분포정수계, 선형시변계, 비선형계의 해석 및 제어문제어도 쉽게 적용할 수 있다. This study uses the distributed parameter systems resented by the spatial discretization technique. In this paper, the distributed parameter systems are converted into lumped parameter systems, End fast Walsh transform and the Picard's iteration method are allied to analysis the state of the systems. This thesis presents a new algorithm which usefully exercises the optimal contro1 in the distributed parameter systems. In exercising the optimal control of the distributed parameter systems, the excellent consequences are found without using the existing decentralized contro1 or hierarchical control method. This study can be applied to the linear time-varying systems and the non-linear systems. Farther researches are required to solve the problems of convergence in case of the numerous applicable intervals. The simulation proves the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.

Currarino syndrome is a hereditary syndrome characterized by the triad of a sacral bony defect, presacral mass and anorectal malformation. We retrospectively reviewed 13 Currarino syndrome patients who were treated in our center between 1997 and 2010. Demographic data, initial symptoms, initial diagnosis. pathologic diagnosis of presacral mass, associated anomalies and managements were analyzed. There were 8 boys and 5 girls. Four patients were diagnosed as Currarino syndrome immediately after birth with failure of passage of meconium and abdominal distension. Four patients underwent surgery for imperforate anus immediately after birth and W8re diagnosed as Currarino syndrome later and underwent reoperation. Three patients were diagnosed during work-up and management with of the tentative diagnosis of Hirschsprung's disease. Diagnosis of the remaining two patients was at the age of 26 months and 9 years and anorectal malformation was not associated. Twelve patients showed hemi-sacrum and one patient showed bilateral sacral subtotal agenesis. Two patients without anorectal malformation underwent presacral mass excision, untethering of spinal cord and repair of myelomeningocele. Six out of 8 patients, excluding 3 that expired or were lost to follow up, with anorectal malformation underwent colostomy, presacral mass excision, untethering of spinal cord, repair of myelomeningocele, posterior sagittal anorectoplasty and colostomy repair. One patient underwent only posterior sagittal anorectoplasty after colostomy. One waits the scheduled operation only with Hegar dilatation. Pathologic examation of presacral masses showed myelomeningoceles in 4 patients, lipomyelomeningoceles in 3 patients and dermoid Cyst in one patient. Teratoma was combined in 2 patients. Eight patients needed neurosurgical operation for spinal cord problems. Seven patients had urologic anomalies and two of them underwent operation. Currarino syndrome should be considered as a differential diagnosis in pediatric patients with abdominal distension, constipation and anorectal malforlnation. For proper evaluation and treatment, a multi-disciplinary approach is recommended.
Size Effect of Specimen and Aggregate on Fracture Characteristics of Cemented Sand

경화 모래와 같은 단단한 흙에서는 자주 파괴시의 응력이 실내실험을 통해 얻은 전단강도 보다 작을 뿐만 아니라 일반적인 해석방법이 적절하지 못한 경우를 보게된다. 여러 학자들은 이러한 현상이 일어나는 것은 흙속에 있는 균열이나 절리와 같은 불연속이 존재 하기 때문일거라 생각했고, 따라서 파괴역학이 이런 흙에대해서는 더 적절한 해석방법이 될 수도 있다고 생각 해왔다. 그러나 파괴역학의 개념을 도입하기에는 파괴 요소들이 재료의 구성뿐만 아니라 시료 그리고 입자의 크기에 크게 영향을 받기 때문에 어려움이 많이 있다. 본 연구에서는 경화모래의 파괴 특성에 시료와 입자의 크기가 미치는 영향을 기술한다. 실내실험 결과, 시료와 입자의 크기는 경화모래의 파괴 거동에 많은 영향을 미치는 것을 보여준다. In the past it has been often observed that the shear stresses at failure are much smaller than the shear strength obtained from traditional laboratory tests and conventional analysis technique is inadequate in stiff soil, such as cemented sand. Many researchers have brought attention to the fact that the presence of flaws i.e. fissures, cracks, joints have a great effect on the strength and overall stress-strain behavior of such materials. They have thought that fracture mechanics may appropriately be adopted as a good tool for analysis of these materials. However, the use of fracture mechanics concept especially for cemented sands is faced with difficulties in obtaining relevant parameters, because fracture parameters and predictions are highly dependent on the material constituents and the size of specimens as well as the size of particles. This paper addresses the effects of sizes which include specimen and aggregate on fracture properties of cemented sand. The results of laboratory tests show that the sizes of specimens and particle have a great effect on the fracture properties such as nominal strength of cemented sand.
직물의 보온성에 관한 연구(VI) -내층의 수분의 영향-

This experiment was conducted to determine the heat loss by the amount of perspiration from human body. Warmth keeping ratio determined by using cooling methods were as follows ; 1) The higher amount of moisture evaporation, the higher amount of heat loss was resulted 2) The cold feeling was found at the level of moisture content in clothes above 0.017 cc/$cm^3$ (amount of moisture evaporation; $160\times10^{-3}cc/cm^2{\cdot}min$) 3) There was no relationship between the characteristics of fabrics(kinds, density, were factor, moisture transpiration) and heat loss at the same moisture content.

This experiment was designed to analyze the factors, which are very common in practical sewing, affecting on sewing shrinkage by using orthogonal array ($L_{27}$) table. The results were analyzed by using the computer program, PDP 11/10. The results showed that sewing shrinkage was increased up to 3 times of laundrying but no further changes could be found. Sewing shrinkage was affected much by the number of stitching and yarn tension and the rate increased with proportion to the number of stitching in unit length and yarn tension. When cotton yarn was used in P/C fabrics, the shrinkage was much smaller, but this results did not agree with other articles reported. Sewing by using $\sharp$11 needle and 1000$\~$1500r.p.m. seemed to lower the shrinkage rate.
