현대 섬유제품 트리밍에 나타난 부조 효과에 관한 연구

섬유제품에서 장식은 단순하고 획일화된 직물을 보다 아름답고 화려하게 만들어 미적인 조형욕구를 충족시키며 제품의 부가가치를 높이는 역할을 한다. 이러한 트리밍은 의류제품부터 침장류 제품에 이르기까지 광범위하게 활용되며 그 기법 또한 매우 다양하게 적용된다. 이와 같은 섬유 장식기법 표현 영역의 확대에도 불구하고 연구는 매우 미흡한 실정으로 섬유의 장식기법과 표현에 대한 심도 있고 구체적인 연구의 필요성을 느끼게 되었다. 섬유제품은 트리밍 기법의 적용방법에 따라 다양한 조형 특성이 표현되며, 그 가운데에서도 입체감을 부여하는 부조 효과가 많은 제품에나타나는 것을 발견할 수 있었다. 이러한 점에서 본 연구는 현대 섬유제품에 나타난 트리밍에 관한 구체적인 연구를 진행하여 직물 장식 표현 기법에 대한 기초자료를 제공하고, 나아가 섬유제품의 트리밍 개발에대한 응용 자료로 활용하고자 함을 목적으로 한다. 본 연구는 섬유 트리밍에 관한 일반적 특성을 고찰하고, 현대 섬유제품에 나타나는 트리밍의 표현효과를 분석하고자 한다. 연구의 주된 범위는 우선 섬유제품의 트리밍과 부조 효과를 이론적으로 고찰하였고, 그 이론을 바탕으로 현대 섬유제품에 표현되는 트리밍의부조 효과의 표현 유형을 도출하였으며, 마지막으로 표현 특성을 분석하였다. 연구방법은 최근 시중 또는 인터넷에서 판매되는 섬유제품에서 부조적 트리밍이 표현된 제품을 선별하고, 그 선별된 제품을 중심으로 구체적인 표현 유형 및 특성을 분석하였다. 연구의 자료는 인터넷을 이용한 국내외 정보 D/B 및 네트워크검색, 논문과 단행본을 포함한 도서와 출판물 등을 활용하였다. 그 결과 현대 섬유제품에 나타나는 트리밍의 부조효과의 표현 유형은 양각부조 효과와 음감부조 효과로 구분되었으며, 트리밍의 부조 효과 표현 특성은 중첩성, 공간 확장성, 유목성으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 내용과 결과로서 현대 섬유제품에 표현되는 트리밍 특성을 이해하는데 필요한 이론을 정리하고 제시할 수 있었으며, 이를 통해 새로운 직물 개발 및 조형성의 해석 범위를 확대시킬 수 있는 정보를 제공하는 밑거름이 될 수 있었다. Trimming satisfies the aesthetically figurativedemand in textile products with its advantage to makesplendid the simple and monotonous ones andindustrially leads to the high value added output. Trimming is applied extensively to diverse productsincluding clothing and beddings. Its technique is alsovariously used. In spite of such an extension ofexpressive realm in textile decoration method, there isyet much room for practical application, thus makingit necessary to have more specific and in-depth studyin relation to textile trimming techniques. However, the possibility was seen in the way ofdiversity for expression according to trimming methodsof textile products. The relief effect providing the stereocharacteristic was also found. In this perspective, thisstudy aims at introducing the basic materials in textiletrimming method through detailed research andutilizing the further developed technique. The research would examine the generalcharacteristics about textile trimming and analyze theeffect expressed in the modern products. For the mainstudy coverage here, trimming and relief effect wereexamined about textile product. Based on the theoreticalbackground from these results, expression types wereintroduced. Lastly, characteristics were analyzed aboutexpression related to relief effect from trimming. Forthe research method, products trimmed with reliefexpression were selected in the market and internet site, and then, expression types and their characteristicswere examined. As to the basic research material, browsing the information database and network frominternet was carried out and publications were usedincluding dissertations and separate volumes. As a result, types of relief effect in trimmings givenin the modern textile product could be classified intohigh relief effect and low relief effect. Characteristicsof relief effect appeared as overlapping, spatialextension, and noticeability. Findings in this study helped to organize andprovide the theories available for understanding thetrimming characteristics expressed in the moderntextile products and through which useful informationwas obtained in developing the new textile andextending the interpretation range of figurativeness intextiles.

현대 의류 제품에 표현된 레이스의 미적효과에 관한 연구

레이스는 고대부터 현재까지 계승되고 발전되어 온 역사와 전통이 깊은 직물의 장식 방법의 하나로써 의류 제품에서 매우 다양하게 활용되고 있다. 산업사회 이후 기계의 발달에 따라 레이스의 제작 방법이 비약적으로 발전하였으며, 그에 따른 의복의 활용도 확대되고 있다. 속옷에 많이 사용되던 레이스가 현재 겉옷 전체에 적용되는 경우까지 확장되고 있다는 점에서 레이스 의류 제품 활용과 그에 따른 미적 효과에 관한 구체적인 연구의 필요함을 느끼게 되었다. 이러한 점에서 본 논문에서는 현대 레이스 의류 제품에 대한 구체적인 연구를 진행하여 의류 제품에서 적용되는 직물의 장식 표현에 대한 기초 자료를 제공하며, 나아가 패션의 장식적 개발에 대한 응용 자료로 활용하고자 한다. 본 연구는 레이스에 대한 일반적 특성을 고찰하고, 현대 의류 제품 가운데 레이스가 사용된 제품에 대한 표현 효과를 분석하고자 한다. 연구의 주된 범위는 레이스에 관하여 이론적으로 고찰하고, 그 이론을 바탕으로 현대 레이스 의류 제품의 표현 유형 및 특성을 도출하였으며, 마지막으로 레이스 의류 제품의 미적효과를 분석하였다. 연구방법은 2014년 SS부터 2017년 AW 컬렉션에 발표된 의류 제품에서 레이스가 사용된 제품을 선별하고, 그 선별된 제품을 중심으로 구체적인 표현 유형 및 특성과 미적 효과를 분석하였다. 연구의 자료는 인터넷을 이용한 국내외 정보 D/B 및 네트워크 검색, 논문과 단행본을 포함한 도서 및 출판물 등을 활용하였다. 그 결과 현대 레이스 의류 제품에 나타나는 표현 유형은 통합형 표현, 독립형 표현, 장식적 표현으로 구분되었으며, 그에 대한 미적 효과는 투시성에 의한 투명효과, 중첩성에 의한 공간효과, 텍스처에 의한 굴곡효과, 노출성에 의한 관능효과로 나타났다, 본 연구의 내용과 결과로서 현대 레이스 의류 제품의 표현 효과를 이해하는데 필요한 이론을 정리하고 제시할 수 있었으며, 이를 통해 새로운 의류 직물 개발 및 조형성의 해석 범위를 확대시킬 수 있는 정보를 제공하고자 한다. Lace is one of the ornamental ways in textile with a long lasting history, which was passed down to the present time from the ancient era. It is used very variously in apparel product. Thanks to mechanical development since industrial society, production method of lace has been improved greatly. Thus, its application becomes widened. Specific study on the laced apparel seems necessary in that its usage extends from inner wear in the past to overall outer wear lately. In such a context, this writing goes through detailed work on the modern lace clothing and gives information on the expressions of textile ornament. Further, this paper provides the application materials for ornamental fashion development. This study examines the general characteristics about clothing lace and analyzes its presentation effects on lace-applied category in the modern clothing products. Main scope covered in this work is theoretical examination, introduction of expression types and characteristics from modern products, and aesthetic effect of lace-applied products. For the research method, products for which lace was used are selected among those in the recent collections and then specific expression type, characteristics, and aesthetic effect are analyzed. For the research material, information data base inside and outside the country and network browsing via internet, dissertations, books and magazines, and related publications are referenced. Results show that expression can be divided into groups of integrated type, independent type, and ornamental type. Aesthetic effects appear as transparent form with transparency, cubic form with overlapping, bend form with texture, and sensual form with exposure. Outcome from this study would help to organize the necessary theories for better understanding of expression effects of laced products in the modern clothing and provide the basic information in developing a new textile and extending the interpretation scope about formativeness.

현대 섬유제품의 자수트리밍에 표현된 미의식 연구

자수트리밍은 소비자의 패션욕구를 충족시켜 섬유제품의 수요를 창출하는데 큰 역할을 담당하고 있으며 패션소재에 고부가가치를 부여하고 있다. 최근에 자수업체는 중국을 비롯한 베트남 등 동남아시아에서 자수직물을 생산하게 되면서 저렴한 가격으로 수출이 이루어지고 있으며, 특히 국내의 생산설비와 노동력을 위주로 자수직물을 생산하던 것이 국내 인건비가 높아지면서 어려운 상황이다. 이러한 상황을 극복하기 위해서는 무엇보다도 디자인개발이 필요하다. 이에 따라 자수트리밍의 디자인을 살펴보고 그에 따른 미의식을 찾아보고자 하였다. 연구를 위한 범위는 최근 국내 자수업체에서 생산하거나, 시중 또는 인터넷쇼핑몰에서 판매하는 섬유제품으로 한정하였다. 연구 방법은 섬유제품에서 나타나는 자수트리밍의 패턴(문양)형식과 소재, 기법 등을 분석하였고 그에 표현된 미의식을 고찰하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 자수트리밍의 현대성은 단순성이 강조된 모티프 패턴에서 찾아 볼 수 있으며, 노멀자수 기법으로 의류와 침장류까지 일상 생활용품의 장식적 완성도를 높이고 있다. 또한 퀼팅자수와 아플리케자수가 활용된 패션 제품에서는 실용성과 재활용성이 나타난다. 공존성은 여러 디자인 요소들이 어우러져 나타나는 것으로 패턴,소재,기법이 혼합되어 독특하고 새로운 감각의 섬유장식을 만들어 내고 있다. 케미컬레이스의 패턴과 레이스기법은 다공성 직물을 만들어 냄으로써 내비침의 미적 효과를 표현하였으며, 혼합성이 나타난 자수트리밍은 반복과 교차를 통한 중첩성이 나타났다. 여성성은 섬유제품을 통하여 여성의 특성과 아름다움을 강조하는 것에서 기인한 특성으로 패션소품의 자수트리밍이 여성의 우아하고 유연한 아름다움을 강조하게 된다. 특히 자수트리밍에 의한 유연한 패턴과 직물 표면장식은 미적인 정체성을 부각시켜 준다. 케미컬레이스의 패턴과 레이스기법의 내비침 효과는 우아한 인체의 곡선을 강조하기도 하고 관능미를 표현하는 소재로 활용되었다. 이처럼 현대 섬유제품의 자수트리밍은 외적이고 객관적인 미의식에 의하여 내면의 미로 승화되고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 따라서 본 연구에서 고찰된 현대 섬유제품의 미의식을 통하여 자수업계의 디자인개발에 기본 자료를 제공하고, 현재 국내에서 어려움을 겪고 있는 섬유업체의 제품생산에 고부가가치를 부여하는데 도움이 될 것으로 본다. The embroidery trimming products play a great role in generating the demand on textile products through meeting the consumers` satisfaction and helping increase the value addition. Lately, thanks to the production of embroidery textile goods in such areas as China, Vietnam, and other South Eastern countries, the low-priced supply has become realized. On the other hand, the domestic situation in South Korea is now undergoing difficulties a great deal due to the increase in cost of labor and manufacturing facilities. Based on this fact, this research would intend to find the characteristics and aesthetic sense expressed in pattern style, materials, and technique of embroidery trimming, taking a focus on the goods produced and sold in Korean industry, market, and internet shopping mall. The following are the results from this work. The modernity of embroidery trimming can be found the motif pattern, where the simplicity is stressed and this helps improve the decorative completeness for a variety of goods in the daily life from clothing to bedding thanks to the common embroider technique. On top of this, the practicability and recycling were found in the fashion products applied with the quilting embroidery and applique embroidery. The concomitant is an output combination composed of various designing factors such as pattern, material, and technique and through which a unique textile decoration is newly generated. The peculiar patterns and lacing techniques in chemical lace were contributable to the porous textile production and this helps the expression in aesthetic effect of visibility while the embroidery trimming with mixing characteristics showed the overlapping effect in repeating and crossing. The femininity can be gained through textile and fabric products characterized as female gender`s uniqueness and its intrinsic aesthetics. For this purpose, the embroidery trimming in a small fashion item gives an emphasis to woman` elegance and streamlined beauty. Particularly, both the flexible pattern and the decorative textile surface outstand the aesthetic identification. The peculiar pattern in chemical lace and the visible effect in lace-utilized technique were used for the stress of round body shape or as the expression element for voluptuous beauty. In this way, the embroidery trimming in modern textile products was found to be transformed into internal beautification with the external and objective sense of aesthetics. Based on the results in study, those findings by the sense of aesthetics in modern textile products could be provided as basic material in design development for the embroidery-related industry and be helpful for the domestic textile and fabric sector suffering from difficulties to make the high value-added products.

현대 의상에 나타난 몰라(Mola) 이미지에 관한 연구

현대 패션은 광범위한 장식적 요소를 활용하여 디자인의 표현 영역을 확대시키고 있다. 특히 직물을 활용한 표면 장식기법은 패션 장식 가운데 가장 폭넓게 활용되고 있는 방법이라 할 수 있다. 디자이너의 창의적인 감각을 표현할 수 있는 몰라(Mola)기법은 컷팅(Cutting)과 직물의 레이어드(Layered) 효과를 적절히 조화시키는 텍스타일 기법으로써 현대 패션에서 중요한 역할을 담당하게 되었다. 과거 몰라는 일부의 전통 복식에 활용되는 한정적 장식 기법이었으나 현재 몰라는 특정 복식에 국한되지 않고 패션 전반에 활용되는 중요한 기법이다. 이러한 현상에도 불구하고 몰라에 대한 연구는 매우 미흡한 실정으로 현대 의상에서의 몰라 기법과 그에 표현된 이미지에 대한 구체적인 연구의 필요성을 느끼게 되었다. 따라서 본 연구는 현대 패션에 나타난 몰라에 대한 구체적인 연구를 진행함으로써 직물 장식 표현 기법에 대한 기초 자료를 제공하며, 나아가 패션 장식 개발에 대한 응용 자료로 활용됨을 목적으로 한다.본 연구는 현대 의상에 표현된 몰라의 특성을 고찰하고, 2010년 이후 해외 컬렉션에 소개된 몰라 이미지의 표현 효과를 분석하고자 한다. 연구의 주된 범위는 현대 의상에 나타나는 몰라의 표현 유형 분류와 그 이미지에 관한 효과이다. 연구 방법으로는 우선 몰라에 대한 이론적 고찰을 하였고, 그 이론을 바탕으로 현대 패션에서의 몰라기법표현 방법 및 유형을 도출하였다. 마지막으로 몰라 이미지에 대하여 분석하였으며, 구체적인 분석은 2010년 이후 국외 컬렉션에 발표된 작품을 중심으로 하였다. 그 결과 현대 의상에 표현된 몰라는 직접적인 표현과 간접적인 표현으로 구분되었으며, 컬렉션에 나타난 몰라의 이미지는 투시적 이미지, 전통적 이미지, 그리고 절충적 이미지로 나타났다. 본 연구의 내용과 결과로서 현대 의상에 표현되는 직물 장식기법과 그 특성을 이해하는데 필요한 이론을 정리하고 제시하였으며, 이를 통해 새로운 직물 개발 및 조형성의 해석 범위를 확대시킬 수 있는 정보를 제공하였다. Modern fashions extends its expression realm extensively for design by using the decorative elements, The surface decoration technique with application of textile, in particular, can be one of the widely accepted methods among those decorative effects in fashion. Mola technique that enables the designers to show their creative sense is sort of a textile technique through which cutting effect and layered effect are integrated in an appropriate manner. Now, it has become the application method playing an important role in the modern fashion field. In the past, this mola approach was partially confined to the traditional costume as decoration method. However, it is of significance as a generic technique in fashion presently more than ever before. With all these phenomena, the study on mola is not considered enough, thus making it necessary to examine further with regard to the expression technique and its resulting image for the modern costume. Therefore, this work would look into details on mola shown in the modern fashion, set up the basic data about expression method of decorative textile, and provide the applicable decoration material for further fashion development. This study examines the characteristics on mola featured in the modern costumes and analyzes the expression effects shown in the overseas collection since 2010. The range covered mainly in this work is the classification of mola expression type and the image effects that appear in the modern clothing. As to the study method, theoretical background was reviewed about mola, firstly. Based on the studied results, the modernized expression methods and types were induced. Lastly, image analysis on mola was followed. For the analyzed works in detail, this study would try to focus on those introduced in the foreign collections after 2010 in general. As a result, mola expressions could be divided largely into direct expression and indirect expression in the modern costume. Images of mola given in the collections were shown as three: transparent image, traditional image, and eclectic image. Findings in this research provided some organized theories necessary to understand the textile decoration technique and its characteristic expressed in the modern costumes, and by which the useful information would be available for the development of new textile and the extension of interpretative range of formative feature.

텍스타일제품에서의 기계자수에 관한 연구

Most of embroidery used in textile products had been made either by hand or by sewing machine with which workmen embroidered one by one until computers were widely distributed in early 1980s. However, with the introduction of computers in textile industry, computer-based embroidery led to various design, elaborateness, and mass production of embroidery, and the frequency in use of it in textile products came to a high increase. At the same time, this exactly met the consumers' sense of fashion and their needs for high quality, raising more and more demand. From these perspectives, I could conclude as following: First, the improvement of fashion in quality and its diverse changes led consumers to create individual unique images according to their own tastes. Second, technical changes in embroidery expanded the exports of embroidered fabrics and elevated textile products to be high value-added ones. Third, the development of computer-based embroidery created demand of consumers by corresponding to their needs to follow vogue as fashion changes. Therefore, I hope this study would contribute to textile and fashion industries as it makes people recognize the possibility of improvement which computer-based embroidery has; attempt continued many different trials and researches related to this.
