Objectives : The aim of this study was to examine the behavioral and emotional problems associated with nocturnal enuresis in Korean children. Methods : Three hundred eighteen children with nocturnal enuresis, together with their parents, completed the Child Behavior Checklist (CBCL), Disruptive Behavior Disorder Scale according to DSM-IV (DBDS), Children's Depression Inventory (CDI), State-Trait Anxiety Inventory for Children (STAIC), and Piers-Harris Children's Self-Concept Scale (PHCSC). Ninety-three normal students were selected as the control group. Results : Compared to the normal control group, the mean scores with regard to the withdrawn, social problems, attention problems, delinquent behavior, aggressive behavior, externalizing problems and total problems profiles were significantly higher in the nocturnal enuresis group according to the CBCL results. The nocturnal enuresis group also scored significantly higher in the ADHD and ODD profiles of the DBDS. The nocturnal enuresis group was more depressed and anxious than the control group according to the results of the CDI and STAI. The mean score of the PHCSC was significantly lower in the nocturnal enuresis group when compared to the normal control group. Conclusion : The results of this study suggest that children with nocturnal enuresis in Korea have clinically relevant behavioral and emotional problems. The findings support the link between nocturnal enuresis and psychopathology in Korean children.

This paper is a study on the isolated word recognition using neural network and DTW(Dynamic Time Warping). We trained the three group neural networks using the phonetics {(ㅇ, ㄹ, ㅁ), (ㅅ, ㅊ, ㅍ, ㄱ), (ㅕ, ㅣ, ㅗ, ㅠ, ㅜ)} which were included in Korean digits. In order to recognize the total phonemes in Korean digits, we constructed the neural network in a modular fashion by exploting the hidden structure of previously trained three phonetic subcategory networks. And Isolated words were recognized by the DTW using phonemes found in the previous step.

It is generally agreed the best clinical results in treatment of injuries of the ankle are obtaind by anatomical restoration of the joint. For objective measurements of tibiotalar joint, some investigators used different criteria and defined the specific reference points under variable angle of internal rotation Ant- Post. Projection. But, occasionally we didn't acquire the accurate roentgenographic finding that was suggested by investigators. so, we check the varible angle of internal rotation film in addition to angle suggestion by investigators and compare the criteria between them. 1. There was no significant difference to measure the accuracy of medial clear space in according to variable rotation angle. 2. The overlapping distance of tibiofibula syndesmosis decreased by increasing internal rotation angle, but was not under 1mm(ie, index of injury) 3. To measure the weber's 3 criteria, we need to check the variable internal rotation ankle, if necessary. 4. We acquired the normal range of measurement about Tile's 2 criteria by variable internal rotation angle.

Spontaneous intracranial hemorrage is rare in the childhood, which is usually caused by vascular anomalies, blood dyscrasia and trauma. A 15-year-old child presented with sudden headache while he was studying. The fretures of radiologic images suggested the cerebellar hematoma caused by the underlying lesion such as vascular malformation or cavernous hemangioma. The operation finding revealed that the hematoma was caused by a tumor, which adhered to the superior medullary velum of cerebellum. The pathology revealed it to be hemorrhagic pilocytic astrocytoma. The hemorrhagic pilocytic astrocytoma should be considered in the diagnosis of the lesion in cerebellar hematoma.

Distilled carbon from waste electric wire coated by vinyl is used to recover valuable metal such zinc, lead and iron in dust. Pemeability and compressive tests are who done to present basic data on extraction of zinc in dust. Experimental results obtained from sintering property of steelmaking dust, distilled carbon from waste electric wire coated by vinyl and waste pulp sludge mixture briquet at various sintering temperature are as followings; Permeability is increased as increasing distilled carbon and pulp amount at higher temperature than room temperature condition. Compressive strength at room temperature is increased as increasing distilled carbon and decreasing waste pulp amount, but decreased as increasing temperature and waste pulp amount. Weight Loss reaction experiment is increased a increasing distilled carbon and waste pulp amount. ZnO and Fe₃O₄ are obtained from sample containing ZnO, Fe₂O₃ and ZnO at 800℃. Permeability test at 500℃ and 800℃ did not well, because of 13.3% CaO in distilled carbon. Sample because semmi melted state at 1000℃. Distilled carbon obtained from waste electric wire showed effect of reduction and flux material.

In order to perform object measurements of telecommunication systems and devices, it is highly desirable to use the mathematically defined signal reproducing the characteristics of human speech. As the artificial voice must exhibit characteristics as close as possible to real speech, we obtain the statistical characteristics of speech. In this paper, the statistical characteristics are longterm average spectrum, instantaneous amplitude distribution, power envelope spectrum, fundamental frequency and time ratio of voice-unvoice. The statistical characteristics of Korean speech are compared with Japanese's and American English. Such results are useful in adapting speech signal processing technologies developed based on foreign languages.

High Density Plasma 발생 장치의 구성 및 특성

High density plasma deposition system was organized using electron cyclotron resonance source, and its plasma properties were measured by using the Langmuir probe method. The ECR microwave plasma conditions could be controlled by means of mass flow controller and ECR microwave power according to the vacuum pressure of 2.3×10^-5 Torr to 5.2×10^-2 Torr. The ion density was increased with an increase of gas flow rate, and a decrease of the distance between ECR source and substrates. The electron temperatures were decreased with an increase of gas flow rate, and a decrease of the distance between ECR source and substrates. The estimated plasma potential was from 27.0V to 31.5V

유산양 유방염에 대한 Chitosan 약침의 치료 효과

To improve the therapeutic method for mastitis, treatment effect of chitosan pharmacopuncture was examined in three milking goats(A,B and C). Mastitis was artificially induced in two milking goats(A and B) and one goat(C) was naturally infected case with mastitis. The acupoint used was Yang-Ming and chitosan suspensions(provided from Tottory University, Japan: 30㎎ of chitosan/㎖)were injected to the acupoint with 5㎖/time for 3 days, respectively. As for the change of somatic cells in milk along with chitosan pharmacopuncture, they showed a decreasing tendency after increase on the 3rd day in all udders of B. In addition, as for the change of total leukocyte counts of peripheral blood with chitosan pharmacopuncture, they showed a decreasing tendency after increase on the 3rd day in B and C except A which showed a increasing tendency until on the 7th day. In the change of neutrophil/lymphocyte(N/L) ratio, increasing tendency was seen in A and C but increasing tendency after slight decrease was observed in B. Further, in the change of serum total protein and A/G ratio, serum total protein content was decreased after slightly increase on the 3rd day in A, and they were decreased after increase until on the 7th day in B and C, respectively. As for the change of A/G ratio, different pattern increasing tendency was shown in A, B and C.
