      • 응집공정 개선을 위한 Streaming Current Detector(SCD)의 적용

        The determination of an optimal and economical coagulant dosage is a crucial problem in water treatment plants: low dosage generally yields a poor removal of raw water turbidity, whereas high dosage leads to sludges which are difficult to dewater. Existing dosage control methods such as jar test, computer controlled equation, zeta potential measurement have shown some limitations in the control of coagulation process. Recent trend of dosage control technology in the developed country is the use of SCD(Streaming Current Detector). SCD is an equipment which continuosely detects the surface charge of particles which are subject to vary with the addition of coagulant. In this study, a technique using SCD is tested and evaluated for the possible control of coagulation process in a water treatment plant. In a bench scale test, the method using jar test is compared with SCD method. Some advantages and disadvantages of SCD are discussed and sensitivity of SCD reading to several water quality parameters is examined. In a pilot scale test using a rapid mixing unit, both SCD and zeta meter reading are measured and compared. Both readings gave similar trends as the coagulant dosage, however, SCD is proven to be more useful because it can be measured on-line. Finally, in a full scale test, SCD is measured at an operating water treatment plant. SCD has the capability of detecting the variation of water quality as well as some problems resulting from clogging of sensors. Overall, SCD technique is proven to be useful and to give some scientifically sound basis for optimum coagulant control in a water treatment plant.

        노인 인구에서 신경인지기능저하와 혈청 지질농도와의 상관성

        Objectives : In this study, the authors evaluated the correlation between eurocognitive impairments and serum lipids levels among Korean elderly over the age of 65. Methods : A total of 609 elderly individuals participated in this study. Screening for cognitive impairments were carried out using the Mini-Mental Status Examination-Korean version (MMSE-KC). There were 197 subjects above 1.5SD Of MMSE- KC and they were evaluated using the Korean versions of the Consortium to Establish a Registry for Alzheimer's Disease (AD) (CERAD-KC) and Geriatric Depression Scale (GDS-K). Results : There was a correlation between old age/low levels of education and AD (p<0.05, P<0.01). There was an inverse correlation between the serum level of total cholesterol and the word list recognition test scores. The serum levels of LDL cholesterol were inversely correlated with the scores on the constructional praxis test, word list recall test and word list recognition test. Inverse correlations between the serum level of triglyceride and scores on the word list recall test and word list recognition test were also observed. Conclusion : There were inverse correlations between the serum levels of lipids and language/memory function in subjects with AD.

      • 멀티미디어 시스템의 구조적 메커니즘

        본 논문에서는 멀티미디어 시스템의 기본적인 구조와 구성 요소들에 대해 알아보고, 각 구성 요소마다 효율적인 기능 수행을 위해 필요한 방안들을 연구해 본다. 멀티미디어 시스템은 크게 정보 관리 부 시스템, 저장 부 시스템, 네트워크 부 시스템으로 나눌 수 있다. 정보 관리 부 시스템은 멀티미디어 정보를 유형별로 분류하는 기능을 하고, 저장 부 시스템은 디스크에 멀티미디어 데이터를 효율적으로 저장하고 검색하는 방법을 제공한다. 그리고 네트워크 부 시스템은 서버에서 클라이언트로 주기적 전달을 보장하는 일을 한다. 본 논문에서는 이들의 기능에 대해 개괄적으로 살펴보고 이러한 기능들을 효율적으로 수행할 수 있는 방법론적인 기술도 함께 하겠다. The structural mechanisms and the components of the multimedia system are examined and the major functions of each components are studied. A multimedia system is largely composed of three subsystems ; the information management, the storage and the network. The information management subsystem separates the multimedia data into different data types. The storage subsystem stores and retrieves the media data on disks efficiently. The network subsystem guarantees the periodic data transfer from the server to the clients. The methodology for the effective performance of each subsystem is discussed.

      • RAPD와 핵 리보솜 DNA ITS2 염기서열에 의한 한국산 전나무속 식물의 유전적 변이 및 계통유전학적 분석

        We analyzed the genetic variation and phylogenetic relationship among fourteen taxa of GenusAbies distributed in Korea using random amplified polymorphic DNA (RAPD) and internal transcribed spacer (ITS) 2 sequences of the nuclear ribosomal DNA (rDNA). RAPDs were used for identification of selected taxa by amplification using single 10-mer primers of arbitrary sequence. Fourteen taxa were clearly classified with 10 arbitrary primers, which generated 102 useful polymorphic bands that were evaluated according to the presence or absence of the fragments of equal size. The genetic distance between A. koreana for. chlorocarpa and A. koreana for. rubrocarpa was 0.127, showing the closest among any other pairs. By comparing the base sequences in the ITS2 region of the nuclear rDNA, genetic relationship was assesed among selected taxa. It showed twenty six sites of point mutation (base substitution) in 243 base pairs (bp) of ITS2 region. The G+C contents of ITS2 region were ranged from 58.3% to 61.7%. The value of nucleotide divergence among selected taxa was ranged from 0.4% to 9.8%. These results showed that RAPD and ITS2 sequence analysis was a useful tool for elucidating phylogenetic relationship and selection of specific marker in Abies species.

        웨딩헤어 관련 코디네이션의 이미지 지각 (Ⅰ) : 여대생을 중심으로 Based on Female University Students

        This paper looks at perceived images of female university students concerned with various wedding hair coordination including wedding hair styles, veil details and fitting positions and head dresses. To design and experimental test of a wedding dress and hair coordination variables, the content analysis of magazines was performed and hair experts were interviewed. 17 stimuli representing the variables of wedding hair coordination were manipulated and included with hair styles(2), veil details(2), veil fitting positions(2), head dresses(2) and a wedding hat(1). The questionnaire of 445 was carried out and data were statistically processed. As a result, five images of wedding hair coordination were factors loaded, that is, favorable, decorative, smooth, personal and pretty one. Various main and interaction effects were found in images of it regarding to changing hair styles, different veil details and fitting positions and head dresses, favorable images, they affected by interactions between hair styles and veil details, hair styles and veil fitting positions, hair styles and head dresses and between veil details and the fitting positions, For personal images, interactions between veil details and the positions of veil fitting had effects on female students; for smooth images, That is, for hair style, female university students were influenced by favorable and smooth images; for veil details by decorative and smooth images; for the positions of fitting veil, by decorative and smooth images; for the positions of fitting veil, by decorative and favorable ones. Then the researcher examined effects by dual interactions between factors of wedding hair coordination. For decorative images, they were found influenced by interactions between hair styles and veil details and between hair styles and head dresses. For personal ones. interactions between veil details and the fitting positions; for pretty images, interactions between the fitting positions and head dresses. These findings will provide sellers of the wedding dress with the idea of how females to perceive wedding hair coordination according to the variation of it.

      • 벗나무속 수종간의 핵 리보솜 DNA의 ITS Ⅰ 염기서열 비교

        Comparison of four species (Prunus yedoensis, P. sargentii, P. pendula for. ascendens, P. serrulata var. quelpaertensis) and one cultivar of P. yedoensis were carried out by comparing their nucleotide sequences from the internal transcribed spacers (ITS) I of nuclear ribosomal DNA (rDNA). The length of the ITS I region was ranged from 229 to 236 base pairs (bp). The G+C contents of ITS I ranged from 58.5 to 60.2%. The value of nucleotide divergence across for four Prunus species and one cultivar ranged from 0.4 to 6%. The pairwise distance between P. pendula for. ascendens and P. yedoensis was 0.004 showing the lowest value among any other pairs. On the other hand, the pairwise distance betwen P. yedoensis and cultivated P. yedoensis was 0.026. The nucleotide analysis based on ITS I sequence was considerably similar to previous studies on the basis of random amplified polymorphic DNA (RAPD).

      • 차체 점용접 접합부 피로강도의 실험해석

        다양한 외부 동하중에 의한 피로파단이 발생하고 있는 승용차 차체 점용접 접합부에 대해 피로시험을 수행함으로써 전반적이 피로거동을 파악하고자 하였다. 실제 파단 발생 부재를 구성하는 차체재료중 SPCC, SPRC35, SAPH38P를 선택하여 용접조건, 동종 및 이종재료간의 접합, 두께 조합을 가급적 실차와 동일하게 적용하여 다양한 인장-전단 및 십자-인장 점용접 시편을 제작하였다. 그리고 정적시험 및 피로시험을 수행하여 강도 데이터베이스를 구축하였다. The fatigue behaviour of spot-welded joints of a car body, in which fatigue fracture occurs by various external dynamic loads, is characterized by performing fatigue tests. SPCC, SPRC35, and SAPH38P steels are selected which constitute the car body. Welding conditions and combinations of steels and thicknesses are chosen to reproduce those of a real car body and various tensile-shear and cross-tension spot-welded specimens are manufactured. Both static tests and fatigue tests are carried out, and the database of spot-weld strength is constructed.

      • 족관절에 대한 임상적 고찰

        The ankle joint is a modified complex hinge joint which plats an important vital role in normal gait, walking and weight bearing. The goal in the treatment of ankle fracture is the restoration of full function to the injured extremity such restoration can be accomplished only with full appreciation of the fracture, the concomitant soft tissue injuries and mechanical demands of the joint involved. The authors have reviewed a series of 131 cases of ankle fractures which were admitted and treated in orthopaedic department of Sunchunghyang university from Feb. 1994 to Oct. 2000. Among the 131 cases ,69 patients (52.7%) were male, and 62 patients (47.4%) were female. Peak incidence of age was 20-30 years old (55 cases, 42.5%). The main causes of injuries were slip down (84 cases, 64.1%) and the other causes were traffic accident (24 cases, 18.3%), rolling down (7 cases, 6.3), fall down (6 cases, 4.6%), direct blow (5 cases, 3.8%), sports injury (4 cases, 3.1%), human trouble (1 cases, 0.7%) in order. Accompanying injuries were noted on 32 case (23.4%) and fractures in lower extremities were most common (15 cases, 46.9%). Supination-external rotation injuries were most common by the Lauge-Hansen classification (53 cases, 40.5%) and type B ankle injuries were most common by the Danis-Weber classification (67 cases, 51.2%) type B2 ankle injuries were most common by the AO classification (44 cases, 33.6%). Open reduction was performed in 95 cases (72.5%) and closed reduction was performed in 36 cases (27.5%). The result was better in those cases which were treated by open reduction and internal fixation than those by closed reduction. SO anatomical reduction and firm internal fixation of the fibula and repair of the distal tibiofibular ligament or transfixation of the distal tibiofibular joint with screw were thought to be very important in the management of the ankle injuries.

        학교행정가의 리더십과 핵심역량에 대한 인식 연구

        21세기 지식정보화 사회는 전통적인 학교교육의 변혁을 요구한다. 이에 학교교육 개혁을 성공적으로 이끌어 나아갈 수 있는 교원의 리더십 특히 학교행정가의 리더십이 절실히 요구되고 있다. 그렇다면 지식정보화 사회에서 요구되는 학교행정가의 리더십이란 무엇이며 어떤 역량을 포함하는가? 본 연구는 학교행정가의 리더십과 핵심역량에 대한 선행연구가 학교 현장과는 유리된 채 이론적, 당위적 수준에 그치고 있다는 문제의식에서 출발하여 학교행정가의 리더십을 구성하는 핵심역량이 무엇인가에 대한 교사, 교감, 교장, 행정실장 및 서무부장의 인식을 파악하고 이들 집단의 인식을 비교 분석하는 데 목적을 두었다. 이를 위해 우선 문헌연구를 통해 리더십에 대한 관점과 개념의 변화를 고찰하였고 변혁적 리더십 관점에 기초하여 학교행정가가 갖추어야 할 핵심역량으로 교육적 리더십, 학교 계획 및 조직, 학교교육과정 편성 및 운영, 학교운영, 인적자원 개발, 학교재정 관리, 교육법 이해 및 집행, 학교교육정책 이해, 학교·학부모 및 지역사회 협력, 정보통신기술 활용과 같은 열 가지 역량을 도출하였다. 문헌연구를 통해 도출된 핵심역량에 대한 학교 현장의 관점을 알아보기 위해 초·중·고등학교 교직원을 대상으로 10대 핵심역량의 중요도와 현재 실행정도에 대해 설문조사를 수행하였다. 설문조사에는 144개 학교의 교직원 1,136명이 참여하였다. The purpose of this study is to investigate the perspectives of teachers, vice-principals, and school staff on school administrators' leadership and core abilities. For this purpose, first, we examined the perspectives and concepts of school administrator's leadership and identified 10 core abilities that constitute the school administrator's leadership. Second, we developed a questionnaire to investigate the perspectives of teachers, vice-principals, and school staff on to what extent the 10 core abilities are important and whether their school administrators actually exert these 10 core abilities. Finally, we conducted a survey research, including teachers, vice-principals, and school staff with various years of experiences in elementary and secondary schools in Korea. The findings show that teachers, vice-principals, principals, and school staff consider the 10 core abilities very important for school administrators. However, they perceive that school administrators, in reality, do not exert the 10 core abilities as much as they think these abilities are important. In particular, teachers rated school administrators' leadership relatively low compared to principals, vice-principals, and school staff. The difference between their perception on the importance and exertion of 10 core abilities indicates the need for programs that promote the development of 10 core abilities for school administrators and consequently support the development of school administrator's leadership.

      • 에탄올 기체에 대한 다공질규소의 감지 특성

        다양한 양극산화 조건에서 다공질규소를 제작하여 에탄올 기체에 반응 시켰을 때 나타나는 감지 특성을 조사하였다. 그 결과 다음과 같은 사실을 얻었다. 첫째, 다공질규소에 에탄올 기체를 노출시켰을 때 전류가 규칙적으로 증가하는 감지 특성이 나타났다. 둘째, 다공질규소층의 두께가 약 2000㎚일때, 에탄올 기체에 대해 가장 빠른 감지 속도가 나타났다. 셋째, 다공질규소 표면에 알루미늄을 증착 시킬 경우 좀 더 안정적인 감지 특성이 나타났다. In this paper, porous silicon layers was fabricated under various conditions and the current response properties when the gas-sensing device exposed to ethanol gas were investigated. The results are as follows : Firstly, when a porous silicon layer was exposed to ethanol gas for a certain period, its current response showed regular properties. Secondly, when a thickness of porous silicon layer was about 2000㎚, its current response properties shows a more rapid response. Thirdly, when an Al was deposited on porous silicon layer, the current response properties shows a more stable.
