        For the characteristics of the concrete using Hwang-Toh aggregate, thermal Insulation capacity test, absorption capacity of heavy metals several test were performed. The study found that the Hwang-Toh concrete could improved the characteristics of conventional normal concrete. The Hwang-Toh concrete shows 67.7% lower thermal conductivity than normal concrete, so it shows good thermal insulation capacity. And the leaching test results showed that 96% of heavy metals such as Pb, Zn, Mn were absorbed by the Hwang-Toh concrete.

      • 말쥐치 기름의 投與가 흰쥐의 血淸 및 肝臟의 콜레스테롤 濃度수준에 미치는 影響

        Sprague Dawley계 숫 흰쥐에 eicosapentaenoic acid 및 docosahexaenoic acid둥 고도불포화지방산을 함유하고 있는 말쥐치커기름과 monoenoic acid를 많이 함유하고 있는 올리브기름을 각각 10% 씩 첨가하고 또한 vitamin E를 식이 100g당 5, 50, 100 I. U.로 첨가한 사료로서 2주간 사육한 후 혈청 및 간장 중의 cholesterol 농도, 과산화지질 및 α-tocopherol의 농도를 측정한 바 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1. 증체량 및 사료섭취량은 전 시험군 간에 있어 유의적인 차이는 없으나 말쥐치기름 투여군이 약간 낮은 경향이었다. 2. 혈청 중의 총 cholesterol 농도는 올리브기름 및 말쥐치기름 투여 군 모두 vitamin E의 첨가량을 증가시킴에 따라 낮아지는 경향이었으며, 말쥐치기름 투여군 은 올리브기름 투여군에 비해 유의적으로 그 농도가 낮았다 (P<0.05). 3. 혈청 중의 HDL-cholesterol 농도 및 총cholesterol 농도에 대한 HDL-cholesterol 농도의 비율은 말쥐치기름 투여군이 올리브기름 투여군에 비해 대체로 높은 경향이었다. 4. 간장 중의 총 cholesterol 농도는 말쥐치기름 투여군이 올리브기름 투여군에 비해 약간 낮은 경향이었다. 5. 혈청 및 간장 중의 과산화지질의 농도는 말쥐치기름 투여군이 유의 적으로 높았으며 (P<0.05) vitamin E의 첨가량을 증가시킴에 따라 감소되는 경향이었다. 6. 혈청 및 간장 중의 α-tocopherol 농도는 말쥐치기름 투여군이 유의적으로 낮았다 (F<0.05). The Sprague Dawley male rats were fed experimental diets containing 10% file fish oil or 10% olive oil, and three graded levels of vitamin E(5,50 and 100 I.U./l00g diet) were provided for each test oil group. After two weeks feeding, the concentration of cholesterol, lipid peroxide and a-tocopherol in serum and liver of rats were determined. The results were summarized as follows. 1. The amount of body weight gain and food intake of rats were not significantly different among all the experimental groups but tended to slightly be low in rats fed file fish oil diet. 2. Total cholesterol concentrations in serum tended to be decreased as vitamin E level increased all of the file fish oil and olive oil diet groups, serum total cholesterol concentrations of the file fish oil diet groups were significantly lower than those of the olive oil diet groups. 3. HDL-cholesterol concentrations and the ratio of HDL-cholesterol to total cholesterol in serum generally tended to be higher on the file fish oil diet groups than those of the olive oil diet groups. 4. Total cholesterol concentrations in liver tended to slightly be lower on the file fish oil diet groups than those of the olive oil diet groups. 5. Lipid peroxide values in serum and liver were significantly high on the file fish oil diet groups and tended to be decreased as vitamin E level increased. 6. The concentrations of α-tocopherol in serum and liver were significantly low on the file fish oil diet groups.

        인접행렬의 고유벡터 성분비를 이용한 공간 분석 : Spatial Configuration Analysis Using the Eigenvector Ratio of Adjacency Matrix

        The purpose of the ERAM model proposed in this paper is to analyze the spatial importance immanent in the intrinsic structure of spaces. Use of the adjacency matrix representing the connection of spaces makes it possible to analyze the spatial structure itself. On the assumption that a large number of people move continually at random in the system, the ratio of elements in any row of the n-th power of the adjacency matrix means the ratio of people of all nodes in equilibrium. Mathematically, it is the ratio of eigenvector corresponding to the dominant (maximum) eigenvalue, Therefore it is the attribute immanent in the structure of spaces itself. Moreover, it is possible to consider the relative level of attraction of spaces and the relative flow from spaces to spaces only by putting the gravity on the adjacency matrix. The ERAM model brings forth the flexible result reflecting the relativity of spaces and flows.

        봉지종류 및 괘대시기가 ‘원황’ 및 ‘화산’ 배 과실의 수확기 품질에 미치는 영향

        We tested fruits quality and skin coloration of two pear cultivar ‘Wonhwang’ and ‘Whasan’ produced by bagging with different kinds of paper bags in the Cheonan area, Chungnam Province, Korea. The fruits were bagged at 35, 45, 55 or 65 days after full bloom (DAFB) with 3 kinds of double layer paper bag which consisted of grey color, yellow color and newspaper for outer layer. The great extent of light interruption was observed in grey colored outer paperbag among three kinds of paperbag which showed only 0.46% of lowest light transmittance when compared with 43.7% and 40.0% of yellow paper and newspaper, respectively. The development of skin redness (a*) increased with the delay of bagging time in two pear cultivars. But the fruits treated at 65 DAFB showed uneven coloration and excessive development of redness which represented low fruit external appearance value. Uniform flesh firmness was attained at the fruits bagged with grey outer color paperbag regardless of bagging time, although the fruit quality indices including soluble solids and titratable acidity did not change significantly by using different kind of fruit bags and bagging time in two pear cultivar. Based on our results, it was explained that the grey-colored fruit bag had positive effect on the development of skin coloration without any detrimental effect on fruit quality factors in ‘Wonhwang’ and ‘Whasan’ pears.

        Ethephon 및 Aminoethoxyvinylglycine 처리가 ‘원황’ 배 모의 수출 환경에서의 품질 및 생리장해 발생에 미치는 영향

        We investigate the effect of preharvest spray of aminoethoxyvinylglycine (AVG), an inhibitor of ACC synthase activity, on fruit quality of ‘Wonhwang’ pear (Pyrus pyrifolia Nakai). And the effects were compared with ethephon which releasing ethylene to elucidate treatment efficacy of ethylene biosynthesis inhibitor on Asian pears. Chemicals were sprayed on 30 days before harvest with AVG (75 and 150 mg/L) and ethephon (100 mg/L), respectively. Highest flesh firmness during 21 days of shelf-life at 25℃ after 30 days of cold storage was attained in the fruit treated with 150 mg/L AVG (26.5N) when compared with untreated control (16.7N), while the fruits treated with 100 mg/L ethephon completely lost their marketability within 14 days of shelf-life by mass drop of firmness down to 11.6N. Low incidence of physiological disorders including pithiness and core browning were attained at the fruits treated with 150 mg/L AVG when we compared with untreated control. No occurrence of mealiness found in the fruits treated with AVG but ethephon treated fruits showed 36.4% during 14 days of shelf-life. Consequently, AVG spray at the concentration of 150mg/L on Asian pear ‘Wonhwang’ fruit regarded as useful preharvest management approach for keeping quality during marketing period after simulated exportation.

      • 窒素, 燐酸 및 加里의 施肥水準이 藥用作物 仙鶴草(Agrimonia pilosa L.)의 生育 및 收量에 미치는 影響

        This study was carried out to determine the effect of various fertilizer levels on the growth and yield of Agrimony. this experiment was conducted for 2years from 1998 to 1999 in Medicinal Plant Experiment Station, Kyungnam ARES. The results obtainned were summarized as follows : 1. The growth characteristics such as plant height, tillers and leaf numbers were more increased at 22-10-10 plot than of other fertilizer levels. 2. Variations of percent flowering of Agrimonia pilosa L. treated with different fertilizer levels were more increased at 22-10-10 plot than of other fertilizer levels. 3. Yield per 10a of Agrimonia pilosa L., Fresh weight was 1,500kg in 22-10-10 plot, and 243kg in non-treatment plot. The dry weight was 736kg in 22-10-10 plot, and 96kg in non-treatment plot. Yield of Seed and Fruit following to different application levels was highest at the fertilizing plot of N, P2O5, K2O=22-10-10.

      • 원위 대퇴골의 고립성 골연골종에서 발생한 속발성 연골 육종 1례 보고

        연골육종은 비교적 서서히 자라며 늦게 전이하는 악성 연골 종양으로 알려져 있다. 골 연골종에서 발생한 속발성 연골육종은 발생빈도는 드물며 타부위로의 전이가 적고 악성도가 낮은 경우가 많아 적합한 수술적 치료로서 좋은 예후를 보이는 것으로 보고되고 있다. 본 동국대학교 정형외과학 교실에서는 우측 대퇴골 원위부 골간단부에 생긴 고립성 골 연골종에서 이차적으로 발생한 연골육종을 치험한 바 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다. A case of Secondary Chondrosarcoma Arising from Solitary Osteochondroma of the Distal Femur Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, College of Medicine, DongGuk University Phil Hyun Chung M.D., Jung Su Hwang M.D., Suk Kang M.D., Yang Mln Kim M.D., Hyung Ho Oh M.D., Dong Ju Chae M.D., Jong Pil Kim M.D. Chondrpsarcoma is a malignant cartilage-forming tumor that grows slowly and metastasis of this tumor occurs in late stage. Secondary chondrosarcomas arising from a solitary osteocartilaginous exostosis are rare and those have a better prognosis than other chondrosarcomas, and they rarely metastasize. We present our experience with a case of secondary chondrpsarcoma arising in solitary osteochondroma of distal metaphysis of right femur with clinical details.

        제조업 산업장의 유기용제 노출에 관한 연구

        Objective : For the purpose of preparing the fundamental data and health promotion and control program on organic solvents in air of manufacturing industry. Methods : The author surveyed number of organic solvent components which was used in working site and also determined the organic solvents concentration in air of 927 manufacturing industries and 1,267 working process with gas chromatography(NIOSH manual) for five years from 1995 to 1999. Results : Mean numbers of solvents components by type of industry, working process was number of 12. There were exceeded to TLV of 1,2-dichloroethane in textile manufacturing industry N,N-dimethyl furan in tanning and dressing of leather ; luggage, handbags, saddlery, harness and footwear manufacturing industry and chemical and chemical product manufacturing industry by type of industry. There were exceeded to TLV of 1,2-dichloroethane in handwriting and drawing process, cellosolove in adhesive spreading process, N,N-dimethly furan in production of solvent process and adhesion process by working process. Total exceeded rate to threshold limit values of organic solvents mixture were 12.9% for EI(Exposure index) and 10.0% for Em(Estimation of mixture) by type of industry, 11.3% for EI and 8.2% for Em by type of working process. The highest exceed rate was 36.7% for EI in tanning and dressing of leather ; luggage handbags, saddlery, harness and footwear manufacturing industry and 29.0% for Em in textile manufacturing industry. the highest exceeded rate was 23.1% for EI and 12.5% for Em in adhesive spreading process by working process. Mean values of total subjects by type of industry and type of working process were 0.7±1.8 for EI and 0.7±1.7 for Em respectively. Conclusions : As above results, the author suggest that it makes the environmental control program on 1.2-dichloro-ethane, N,N-dimethyl furan, cellosolve by kind of organic solvent and on textile manufacturing industry, tanning and dressing of leather ; luggage, handbags, saddlery harness and footwear manufacturing industry by type of industry, and on handwriting, drawing process and adhesive spreading process and adhesion process by type of working process.
