최후곤,신완선,장중순,서준성,여명구,안동근,김진봉 成均館大學校 科學技術硏究所 1996 論文集 Vol.47 No.2
This study Focuses on developing several modules involved in an integrated production information system for medium- or small-sized industries. The modules of order management, quality control, production scheduling, and shop management are executed for an example case industry. The potential values of this research includes that the major information modules to collect, analysis, and display production data and shop data for constructing the computer integrated manufacturing system(CIMS) are programmed with various features of medium- or small-sized industries

In this letter, we propose a new prediction block filter that can reduce errors between the original and prediction blocks. The proposed filter adaptively adjusts filter coefficients by using the previously reconstructed adjacent blocks and their prediction blocks. Then, the filter is selectively applied to the current prediction block according to the rate-distortion optimization. Moreover, since the same filter coefficients can be derived in the decoder, they are not encoded into the bit-stream. The proposed method achieves a 4.65% bitrate saving on average compared with H.264/AVC.
Protective effect of betaine against galactosamine-induced acute liver injury in rats
Choi, Yeo Jin,Na, Jong Deok,Jun, Doo Sung,Kim, Young Chul Elsevier 2018 Journal of Functional Foods Vol.44 No.-
<P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>We investigated the protective effect of betaine against galactosamine (GalN)-induced acute hepatic injury. Male rats received betaine from 2 wk prior to GalN treatment. Betaine supplementation inhibited the elevation of serum enzyme activities and the histopathological changes induced by GalN challenge. However, hepatic lipid peroxidation, glutathione levels, and oxidative DNA damage were unaffected by either GalN or betaine treatment. GalN treatment suppressed ornithine decarboxylase (ODC) expression and decreased putrescine levels in liver, both of which were prevented by betaine supplementation. In H4IIE cells, treatment with betaine or <I>S</I>-adenosylmethionine provided complete protection against GalN-induced cytotoxicity. Addition of difluoromethylornithine, an irreversible ODC inhibitor, abolished the protective effect of betaine and <I>S</I>-adenosylmethionine<B>,</B> indicating that depletion of putrescine is critically implicated in GalN-induced cytotoxicity. These results suggest that the beneficial effect of betaine against GalN-induced hepatotoxicity can be attributed to the improvement of polyamine metabolism via elevation of <I>S</I>-adenosylmethionine availability in the liver.</P> <P><B>Highlights</B></P> <P> <UL> <LI> Betaine prevents GalN-induced liver injury both <I>in vivo</I> and <I>in vitro.</I> </LI> <LI> Induction of liver injury by GalN does not involve oxidative stress. </LI> <LI> GalN-induced liver injury is associated with impairment of the polyamine metabolism. </LI> <LI> By increasing SAM, betaine improves the polyamine metabolism dysregulated by GalN. </LI> </UL> </P> <P><B>Graphical abstract</B></P> <P>[DISPLAY OMISSION]</P>
A novel splicing variant of b -TrCP1, a binding protein of b-catenin, in epithelial ovarian cancer

Objective: Three splicing variants of b-TrCP1, b-TrCP1-variants 1, 2, and 3, have been found in human cells. We sought to identify a novel variant, b-TrCP-variant 4, whose full-sequence has never been cloned, from ovarian cancer cells and evaluate its regulatory function on b -catenin. Methods: Normal and cancerous ovarian tissues were obtained and snap frozen in liquid nitrogen. Total RNA was isolated. Approximately 0.5-1.0 g of total RNA was reverse transcribed into cDNA using, real-time PCR. To quantitatively determine the mRNA concentration of the variants, real-time PCR was performed. Co-immunoprecipitation assay and b-galactosidase assay were done. The membrane bound proteins were developed by Western blot analysis. The expression and localization of the proteins was observed under by immunofluorescence staining and confocal microscopy. Luciferase activity was assessed using a dual-luciferase reporter assay kit. Results: A novel b-TrCP1-variant 4 harbors exon II instead of exon III of variant 1, with no change in the open reading frame. The expression of b-TrCP1-variant 4 is abundantly expressed in cancerous ovarian tissues rather than variant 1 and 2. Similar to variants 1 and 2, b-TrCP1-variant 4 directly interacts with b-catenin, one of the substrates of SCF-TrCP E3 ubiquitin ligase and down-regulates the transcriptional activity and protein expression of b-catenin with a significantly weaker effect than that by variants 1 and 2. However, the co-expression of b-TrCP1-variant 4 with variant 1 in same proportion has no effect, whereas other combinations effectively downregulate the activity of b-catenin, indicating that the heterodimer of variants 1 and 4 has no function. Conclusion: B-TrCP1-variant 4 could play a critical role in SCF-TrCP E3 ligase-mediated ubiquitination by acting as a negative regulator of -TrCP1-variant 1.

<P>The well-defined hierarchical superstructures constructed by the self assembly of programmed supramolecules can be organized for the fabrication of remote-controllable actuating and rewritable films. To realize this concept, we newly designed and synthesized a benzene-1,3,5-tricarboxamide (BTA) derivative (abbreviated as BTA-3AZO) containing photoresponsive azobenzene (AZO) mesogens on the periphery of the BTA core. BTA-3AZO was first self-assembled to nanocolumns mainly driven by the intermolecular hydrogen-bonds between BTA cores, and these self-assembled nanocolumns were further self-organized laterally to form the low-ordered hexagonal columnar liquid crystal (LC) phase below the isotropization temperature. Upon cooling, a lamello-columnar crystal phase emerged at room temperature via a highly ordered lamello-columnar LC phase. The three-dimensional (3D) organogel networks consisted of fibrous and lamellar superstructures were fabricated in the BTA-3AZO cyclohexane-methanol solutions. By tuning the wavelength of light, the shape and color of the 3D networked thin films were remote-controlled by the conformational changes of azobenzene moieties in the BTA-3AZO. The demonstrations of remote-controllable 3D actuating and rewritable films with the self-assembled hierarchical BTA-3AZO thin films can be stepping stones for the advanced flexible optoelectronic devices.</P>
