Thyroid hemiagenesis is a rare congenital anomaly, in which one thyroid lobe fails to develop. It is reported that thyroid hemiagenesis associated with thyroid diseases such as Graves' disease, Hashimoto's thyroiditis, colloidal goiter and thyroid follicular and papillary cancer. However, Thyroid hemiagenesis associated Hashimoto's thyroiditis haven't reported in Korea. A 31-year-old female patient was clinically hypothyroid with a left-sided goiter. Hemiagenesis of right thyroid lobe indicated on 99mTc pertechnete scan and later confirmed on ultrasonography. The authors report this case with literature review.

만성 견비통에 대한 동씨침 치료의 무작위 대조군의 임상 연구

Objectives : To observe the effect of acupuncture treatment in chronic shoulder pain patients. Methods : 36 voluntary patients were randomly assigned to an acupuncture treatment group(E GrouP, n=18) and a control group(C GrouP, n=18). The E Group patients received acupuncture treatment on LI_(15), TE_(14), GB_(21) and Master Dong's acupuncture points, Shin-gwan and Gyun-joong, twice a week for four weeks. The C Group patients received no treatment. All patients in both groups were instructed to practise self exercise in their daily lives. Evaluations were made at baseline and after four weeks of study. The Constant Shoulder Assessment(CSA), Shoulder Pain and Disability Index(SPADI) and the patient's subjective pain was measured by Visual Analogue Scale(VAS). The obtained data was analyzed. Results '. The E Group showed significant(p<0.05) improvement in CSA, SPADI and VAS after four weeks of treatment. The C Group showed significant(p<0.05) improvement in CSA, but the change of SPADI and VAS was insignificant(P>0.05). CSA and SPADI of E Group significantly(p<0.05) improved compared to the C GrouP, but the difference of VAS change in the two groups was insignificant(p>0.05). Conclusions : Four weeks of acupuncture treatment significantly improved CSA, SPADI and VAS. The improvement of CSA and SPADI was significant(p<0.05) compared to untreated patients.

Identification of cdc25 Gene in Pinewood Nematode, Bursaphelenchus xylophilus, and Its Function in Reproduction

The cdc25 gene, which is highly conserved in many eukaryotes, encodes a phosphatase that plays essential roles in cell cycle regulation. We identified a cdc25 ortholog in the pinewood nematode, Bursaphelenchus xylophilus. The B. xylophilus ortholog (Bx-cdc25) was found to be highly similar to Caenorhabditis elegans cdc-25.2 in sequence as well as in gene structure, both having long intron 1. The Bx-cdc25 gene was determined to be composed of seven exons and six introns in a 2,580 bp region, and was shown to encode 360 amino acids of a protein containing a highly-conserved phosphatase domain. Bx-cdc25 mRNA was hardly detectable throughout the juvenile stages but was highly expressed in eggs and in both female and male adults. Functional conservation during germline development between C. elegans cdc25 and Bx-cdc25 was revealed by Bx-cdc25 RNA interference in C. elegans.

The Effects of Bronchoscope Diameter on the Diagnostic Yield of Transbronchial Lung Biopsy of Peripheral Pulmonary Nodules

Background: Transbronchial lung biopsy (TBLB) is a valuable diagnostic tool for peripheral pulmonary lesions. Thediagnostic yield of TBLB reportedly ranges from 41%-60%. Many studies demonstrated the various factors that influencethe yield of TBLB, including size, location, and distance from the carina or pleura. However, no study has evaluated theeffects of the bronchoscope diameter. We evaluated whether the bronchoscope diameter affected the diagnostic yield ofTBLB. Methods: We reviewed records from 178 patients who underwent TBLB using bronchoscopes of two different diameters(5.7 mm, thick outer diameter, Olympus BF-200; 4.9 mm, thin, BF-260). The fluoroscopic guidance rates, yield of TBLBand flexible bronchoscopy (FB) were compared between the two groups. Additionally, we compared the results of theprocedures with respect to diagnosis, distance from the pleura, and size of the lesion. Results: The results of fluoroscopic guidance, TBLB, and FB yield using thin diameter bronchoscope were significantlybetter than those obtained with a thick diameter bronchoscope (p=0.021, p=0.036, and p=0.010, respectively). Particularly,when the distance from the pleura was ≤ 10 mm, success rates for fluoroscopic guidance and FB with thin bronchoscopewere higher (p=0.013 and p=0.033, respectively), as compared to with thick bronchoscope. Conclusion: A thinner diameter bronchoscope increased the yield of bronchoscopy, and bronchial washing inconjunction with TBLB was useful in the diagnosis of peripheral pulmonary nodules.

코치와 부모의 자율성 지지가 리듬체조 2부 경기 참가자의 기본 심리적 욕구와 내적동기에 미치는 영향

This study was aimed to verify the effect of autonomy supports of parents and coaches on the basic psychological needs and intrinsic motivation of the tier 2 rhythmic gymnastics competition participants, and define mediate effect of the basic psychological needs on the relationship between autonomy supports and intrinsic motivation, so the results can suggest proper direction for improvement, renewal of the tier 2 rhythmic gymnastics competition and promote young athletes. The 280 Tier 2 Rhythmic Gymnastics competition participants, who were not registered as an official athlete to the Korea gymnastics association between the periods from August, 2018 to October, 2018, came in on the study. Frequency Analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, correlation analysis, structure equation modeling were used for data analysis with SPSS 21.0 version program and AMOS 21.0 version program, and the results are shown below. The overall results showed the autonomy support from parents and coaches which is recognized by the tier 2 rhythmic gymnastics participants have positive effect on basic psychological needs and intrinsic motivation, and the autonomy support appears to improve intrinsic motivation through basic psychological needs.

공공가치 인식의 결정요인에 관한 탐색적 연구 - 제도적 소통(국민과 정부간 소통)을 중심으로 -

본 연구는 개인적 특성(사회·경제적 정향, 사회·정치적 활동)과 사회적 요인(사회적 자본), 제도적요인(기관간 협력)을 중심으로 다양한 공공가치(민주성, 공정성, 효과성, 청렴성) 인식의 결정요인을 분석하는 동시에, 이들의 관계에 제도적 소통(국민과 정부간 소통)이 어떠한 영향(조절효과)을 미치는지 살펴보고자 한다. 분석결과, 다양한 요인들이 다양한 공공가치에 영향을 미치는 것을 알 수 있었다. 다수의 공공가치들에 공통적으로 영향을 미치는 요인들을 알아보면, 정부와 시민단체간 협력이 강할수록, 국민과 중앙정부간 소통이 활발할수록 모든 공공가치(민주성, 공정성, 효과성, 청렴성)에 대한 인식이 높아짐을 알 수 있었다. 또한 지역소속감과 국민간 신뢰가 높을수록, 중앙정부와 부처간 협력, 중앙정부와 지방정부간 협력이 잘 될수록 공정성, 효과성, 청렴성에 대한 인식이 높아졌다. 그 외에도 나이가 많을수록 공정성, 효과성, 청렴성에 대한 인식이 높아지고, 공공기관일수록 민주성, 공정성, 청렴성에 대한 인식이 높아짐을 발견하였다. 그리고 국민과 정부간 소통은 정부활동에 대한 관심이 민주성, 효과성, 청렴성에 긍정적인 효과를 주도록 촉진하고, 중앙정부와 지방정부간 협력이 효과성과 청렴성에 미치는 긍정적인 효과를 확대하는 등 주요 결정요인들과 공공가치 인식의 관계에 다양한 영향을 미쳤다. 본 연구는 이러한 분석결과에 기반하여 국민들의 공공가치 인식을 제고하기 위한 방안으로 다음정책방향을 제시하였다. 첫째, 국민들의 고충민원, 부패방지, 국민참여를 담당하는 국민권익위원회를 중심으로 정부부처간, 정부와 국회, 지방정부, 시민단체간 협력활성화를 위한 협력적 거버넌스를 구축하는 것이 필요하다. 둘째, 국무총리 산하에 (가칭)국민소통기획관제도나 담당관제도 등을 설치하는 방안을 고려해야 한다. 셋째, 정부의 각 부처별로 공공가치 지수 및 소통지수를 개발·측정하여 공공가치에 대한 관심을 높인다. 넷째, 정부업무평가위원회에서 실시하는 중앙행정기관 평가시 주요정책과 기관역량 등을 평가하는 특정평가에 기관별 공공가치 평가지표를 추가하고 그 결과를 공개하는 것이 필요하다. This article is to analyze factors to determine the awareness of public values focusing on moderating effect of communication between citizens and government. Findings are as follows: Cooperation between government and civic organizations, and communication between citizens and government make positive influences on the awareness of public values such as democracy, fairness, effectiveness and integrity. And several factors(a sense of belonging in a local community, trust between people, cooperation between government departments, cooperation between central government and local government, cooperation between government and civic organizations) also make positive influences on the awareness of public values(fairness, effectiveness, integrity). In addition, communication between citizens and government accelerates the positive impact of interest in government activity on the awareness of public values. Policy implications are as follows: First, collaborative governance with government departments, local government, the national assembly, civic organizations, and etc is necessary. Second, public value index and communication index for each government department should be made.

절연재에 따른 TEM 안테나의 방사패턴 및 이득 변화

TEM Horn antenna is typically used in HPEM area. It is necessary to apply a high voltage of the antenna for radiating HPEM. Then, it is necessary to insulate essentially of applying a high voltage to the antenna. At this time, radiation pattern and gain of the TEM Antenna is changed. For this reason, it is necessary to analyze changing characteristics by using simulation. In this paper, I analyzed the radiation pattern of the antenna in accordance with the lens and insulating material. As a result, it was observed that the value of the gain is changed in accordance with the frequency. The lens is used for the antenna, the gain characteristic is improved.

지방정부 공무원들의 공공서비스동기와 공직가치가 조직성과에 미치는 영향 연구 - 촉진적 리더십의 조절효과를 중심으로 -

본 연구는 지방정부 공무원들을 대상으로 공공서비스동기와 공직가치가 조직성과에 미치는 영향을 분석하고, 이러한 과정에서 리더의 촉진적 리더십이 미치는 영향을 분석한 것이다. 분석결과, 공공서비스동기와 공직가치, 촉진적 리더십은 일반적으로 조직성과인 효율성과 서비스 질에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났고, 공공서비스동기와 촉진적 리더십의 상호작용항과 공직가치와 촉진적 리더십의 상호작용항은 다양한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 분석결과에 대한 정책적 함의로서, 지방공무원은 지방정부와 주민에 대한 봉사정신과 함께 주민들의 권리를 지키기 위해 노력하는 것이 필요하고, 일상생활에서 주민들과 서로 의존하는 관계임을 인식하고 공동체 의식을 강화하는 것이 필요하다. 또한, 주민들과 의사소통 기회를 확대하여 서로 의견을 교환하고 갈등을 적절히 조정하는 것이 중요하다는 점을 제시하였다. The purpose of this study is to analyze the impact of public service motivation and public service value on organizational performance and to investigate the influence of facilitative leadership on this relationship. The results showed that public service motivation, public service value, and facilitative leadership generally had positive effects on organizational performance but facilitative leadership had a variety of effects. As the result of the analysis, it is necessary for local government officials to strive to protect the rights of residents and to strengthen community consciousness. Also, it is necessary for local government officials to expand communication opportunities with residents, to exchange opinions and to adjust the conflict appropriately.

공공가치가 정부 신뢰에 미치는 영향 연구:

본 연구는 다양한 공공가치 유형들(민주성, 공정성, 청렴성)이 정부 유형별(중앙정부, 지방정부) 신뢰에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 알아보는 동시에, 정부(대리인)가 국민(주인)과의 관계를 형성하는데 중요한 영향을 미칠 수 있는 정보의 비대칭성이 공공가치와 정부 신뢰의 관계에서 어떠한 역할을 수행하는지 살펴보고자 한다. 분석결과, 첫째 본 연구의 공공가치 유형인 민주성(대응성), 공정성, 청렴성은 모두 중앙정부 신뢰에 정(+)의 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, 공공가치 유형 중 공정성과 청렴성은 지방정부 신뢰에 대해 정(+)의 영향을 미쳤다. 셋째, 정부와 국민간 정보의 대칭성이 크고 정부가 공정하게 업무를 처리하는 경우 정부 신뢰가 낮아졌다. 넷째, 정부와 국민간 정보 대칭성은 정부가 청렴하게 공공업무를 수행함으로써 중앙정부 신뢰가 커지는 효과를 더욱 촉진하였다. 본 연구는 이러한 분석결과에 기반하여 정부 신뢰를 제고하기 위한 방안으로 다음 정책방향을 제시하였다. 첫째, 중앙정부 각 부처들은 국민들의 생각과 의견에 항상 많은 관심을 기울이고, 이들의 요구를 충족시킬 수 있는 정책을 고안하는 것이 필요하다. 둘째, 중앙정부와 지방정부는 공공서비스 수혜대상인 사회구성원들에게 일관성 있는 절차를 통해 공정하게 서비스가 제공되도록 해야 한다. 셋째, 중앙정부와 지방정부는 모든 업무처리과정을 투명하게 공개하는 등 청렴하게 행정서비스 업무를 실시하는 것이 바람직하다. 넷째, 다양한 정보제공 채널을 활용하여 사회구성원들이 정부가 하는 업무들을 잘 인지할 수 있도록 해야 한다. This study is to analyze the impact of public value on government trust and to analyze the effect of information asymmetry on the relationship between public values and government trust. Analysis results are as follows. First, democracy, fairness, and integrity make positive influences on the central government trust. Second, fairness, and integrity make positive influences on the local government trust, too. Third, symmetrical imformation decelerates the positive impact of fairness on government trust. Fourth, symmetrical imformation accelerates the positive impact of integrity on the central government trust. Policy implications are as follows. First, The government ministries always need to pay much attention to the people’s opinions and to devise the policies to meet their needs. Second, governments should provide public services to citizen through a consistent process and with fair benefits. Third, It is desirable that governments conduct public administrative work in a transparent manner, such as disclosing work processes. Fourth, It is necessary to utilize various information channels so that citizen can recognize the government achievements well.
