        한국의 광물명칭에 관한 연구

        The purpose of this study is to investigate historical records on Korean mineral terms. One of the earliest records on Korean mineral terms is the Donguebogam(oriental medical handbook) written by Heo Jun in 1613. Most of geological investigation of Korea was accomplished by Japanese geologists in the period of the 1900~1945. Korean mineralogical records have been described by Gottsch(1886), Kwasaki(1935), Kinosaki(1937, 1940), Tsuda(1941, 1952) and Galleger(1963). Korean mineral species have been described about 300 species by KIER(Korea Institute Energy and Resources) in 1977. In the results of this study, Comparisons and classifications between current korean mineral terms and korean traditional and chinese medical mineral terms are suggested.

        혈행화된 두개골 피판을 이용한 안와저 및 안와하연의 재건술 치험례

        A number of methods have been introduced for support the orbital floor following a maxillectomy without orbital exenteration or severe facial trauma. These methods including skin graft and muscular sling provided the unsatisfactory results, like as diplopia, orbital ptosis, enophthalmos and severe facial deformity. Therefore the bone and soft tissue reconstructions using microvascular free flaps were performed recently by many surgeons, but long time operation, donor site morbidity, postoperative large scar, and ptosis of the flap were pointed out as disadvantages of free flap reconstruction. Vascularized calvarial bone flap, a modified method of free calvarial bone graft, was adequate for reconstruction of the orbital floor and the infraorbital rim as a horizontal buttress, especially in case of poor vascular bed and postradiated state. The authors introduced the vascularized calvarial bone flap for the orbital floor and the infraorbital rim reconstruction in 3 cases of maxillectomy, and could be obtained satisfactory results aesthetically and functionally.

        고등학교 지구과학 실험·실습 요목 비교 분석

        The purpose of this study is to investigate the status of the experimental and practical education in high school earth. The present status and reasonable management of the experimental and practical education in high school earth science have been grasped from the questionaires. To do this, eighty eight earth science teachers in Korea are administered questionaires. The frequency of the experimental and practical items in the seven kind of earth science text books were investigated. The problems and the reasonable management for experimental and practical education were proposed in this paper.

        This study was to explore the running experience of general runners, This also tried to seek a way for the promotion of running as an affirmative Leisure activity. The relationship among optimal experiences, satisfaction and pleasure from running as a solo sport activity was examined by systemically analyzing the experiences from running, The experiences about the satisfaction and happiness of the participants were also examined, Results from this study could be used as a theoretical background for the promotion of running as a leisure activity, and should provide a basis for further research on the experiences in Korean society.

      • Benzoate 분해균주의 분리 및 특성

        Twenty-seven bacterial colonies capable of growing on benzoate as the sole source of carbon were isolated from streamside soils. Three of isolates were found to be extremely effective in metabolizing the benzoate, when they were incubated in the basal salt medium containing 2,000ppm of benzoic acid at 30℃ for 48hrs. The three isolates, Y205, W212 and J211 were identified Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Bacillus fastidiosus, and Aeromonas sp. respectively through morphological and physiological examination. Optimal temperature and pH for benzoate degradation of the isolates appeared to be 35℃ and pH for Pseudomonas sp. Y205 and Bacillus. sp. W212, and 30℃ and pH 7.0 for Aeromonas sp. J211. The highest degradation of benzoate by the three isolates was obstained in the growth media containing ammonium sulfate as nitrogen source. Optimal concentration of ammonium sulfate was 6.0g/l for Pseudomonas sp. Y205 and Aeromonas sp. J211, and 4.0g/l for Bacillus. sp. W212. When the three isolates were cultivated in basal salt medium containing 2,000ppm benzoate under optimal condition, they showed a logarithmic phase growth 12hours and a stationary phase growth 18hours after innoculation, and the benzoate degradation of 91.15-92.40% after 72-hours incubation. Benzoate degradation increased in parallel with the cell growth.

        慶山鑛山附近의 地質과 鑛化作用에 對하여

        The geology and minerliaztion of Gyeongsan mine and its vicinity were studied mainly from petrochemical and geochemical point of view. The mineral composition of ores and the content variations of trace elements in carbonate veins investigated in relation to the origin of ore deposits. From field observation, microscopic study and chemical analysis of major and trace elements it may be summarized and concluded as followings: 1) Mineralization is assumed to have been formed from carbonate-rich hydrothermal solution passing through the fissures developed in the granitic rocks. The major strike and dip of the fissures are NS to N10˚E and nearly vertical. 2) The characteristic variation trends of several oxides of bulk chemical analysis and modal analysis of the granitic rocks indicate that the rocks belong to adamellite to granite and have some similarity to the granite of G group in southern Gyeongsang basin (Lee, 1978) and the younger granite of Ogcheon geosynclinal zone(Lee, 1971). 3. Ore minerals in the carbonate vein are mainly arsenopyrite, molybdenite, pyrite and sphalerite. Sphalerite associates occasionaly with small amounts of bismuthinite and chalcopyrite. Gangue minerals found in this ore deposits composed of calcite, dolomite, ankerite, quartz, K-feldspar etc.. 4) The distribution pattern of trace elements show that Co content is mostly low and t tends to decrease, like Cu and As, with depth, and that Mo content is high in drill holes of No. 5 to 7 and tends to increase with depth. It seems that the variation trends of Co fairly show similarity with As and Cu, but dissimilarity with Mo and the others. 5) The raw ores of the past might be cobalt-bearing arsenopyrite, that was much enriched in Co, considering the ratio of Fe/Co based on the past analytical results of arsenopyrite.

        By the reason of increased demand of high productivity and quality, the manufacturer have an effort in many directions of a machine tool industries. Among there, we proposed method of decreasing displacement in MC(machining center). In other words, Quality related with vibration of a tool cutting products. For decreasing it, improved by optimizing a shape of the column-part and acceleration curves of motors In this paper we could find design factors has much influence on decreasing the displacement using the DOE(Design of Experiments) and optimized the level of the factors using ADAMS^(R) and MINITAB^(R). And we suggest optimized a acceleration curve using Matlab^(R).

        부정합 개념의 교수 · 학습 방법 개선을 위한 CAI 프로그램 개발 및 적용

        The purpose of this paper is to develop a CAI program and apply it to the students to see its effectiveness for middle students in understand how unconformity is formed. This CAI program was developed with 16 bit IBM-pc compatible computer using 'KAS (Korea Authoring System) Ver. 2.0. This program consists of 125 pictures and can be used for 45 minute instruction period. The number of KAS lines in this program is about 1300. This program was made to enhance students' achievement on the concept of geological unconformity through animation and sound effects. This research is considered to have the interaction effect between the computer and learner, and this material was made to assess the results of the learning. The results of its application revealed that the control group (38 students) was more excellent in their achievement than those (37 students) who didn't use this program. The achievement rate of the control group was 56.84% whereas that of the other group was 49.46%. This result shows that this CAI program is very effective.
