Objectives : The aim of this study was to examine the behavioral and emotional problems associated with nocturnal enuresis in Korean children. Methods : Three hundred eighteen children with nocturnal enuresis, together with their parents, completed the Child Behavior Checklist (CBCL), Disruptive Behavior Disorder Scale according to DSM-IV (DBDS), Children's Depression Inventory (CDI), State-Trait Anxiety Inventory for Children (STAIC), and Piers-Harris Children's Self-Concept Scale (PHCSC). Ninety-three normal students were selected as the control group. Results : Compared to the normal control group, the mean scores with regard to the withdrawn, social problems, attention problems, delinquent behavior, aggressive behavior, externalizing problems and total problems profiles were significantly higher in the nocturnal enuresis group according to the CBCL results. The nocturnal enuresis group also scored significantly higher in the ADHD and ODD profiles of the DBDS. The nocturnal enuresis group was more depressed and anxious than the control group according to the results of the CDI and STAI. The mean score of the PHCSC was significantly lower in the nocturnal enuresis group when compared to the normal control group. Conclusion : The results of this study suggest that children with nocturnal enuresis in Korea have clinically relevant behavioral and emotional problems. The findings support the link between nocturnal enuresis and psychopathology in Korean children.

Impact loads may be expected in many of the engineering applications of composites. The suitability of composites for such applications is determined not only by the usual parameters, but its impact or energy-absorbing properties. Genetic algorithms(GA) is probabilistic optimization technique by principle of natural genetics and natural selection and neural networks(NN) is useful for predication operation on the basis of learned data. Therefore, This study presents optimization techniques on the basis of genetic algorithms and neural networks to minimum stiffness and weight design of laminated composites.
중안면부 함몰과 하악전돌을 동반한 Ⅲ 급 부정교합자의 교정-악교정수술 복합치료

성장이 완료된 골격성 III급 부정교합의 치료는 골격 부조화의 심도, 절치 치축, overbite와 연조직 측모의 심미성 등을 고려하여 필요한 경우 교정치료와 악교정수술을 병행하여 골격과 치아관계 개선에 따른 기능의 증진외에도 안모의 심미성을 증진시킬 수 있다. 특히 전후방적, 수직적, 횡적인 골격 부조화가 크거나 안면비대칭이 있는 경우, 또한 악교정수술후의 안정성이나 보다 이상적인 안모를 위하여 양악수술을 시행한다. 중안면부 함몰환자에서 안와하연과 관골부는 보존하며 비상악체를 전방이동하는 pyramidal Le Fort II osteotomy를 시행할 수 있으며, 안와하연과 관골부의 전방이동을 필요로 할 때는 quadrangular Le Fort II osteotomy를 시행할 수 있다. 이 수술법은 안와하연의 위치를 변화시켜 안와체적에 영향을 미치므로 상악골의 횡적, 수직적 이동량이 5mm 이상일 때는 시행할 수 없다. 서울대학교병원 치과진료부 교정과에 내원하여 중안면부 함몰과 하악전돌을 골격성 III급 부정교합으로 진단되어 교정-악교정수술(Le Fort II osteotomy 와 BSSRO) 복합치료를 받은 2명의 환자에 대해 살펴보고자 한다. In non-growing Class III malocclusion, the critical aspects which determine the need of orthognathic surgery are the severity of skeletal discrepancy, incisor inclination, overbite and soft tissue profile. Two-jaw surgery is more effective in correcting severe sagittal, vertical, transverse skeletal discrepancies and facial asymmetry. And more esthetic and stable profile can be achieved by two-jaw surgery. Some midfacial deficiency patients can be treated by pyramidal Le Fort II osteotomy to maintain infraorbital rim and malar complex and to advance nasomaxillary complex. Others who require advancement of infraorbital rim and malar complex can be treated by quadrangular Le Fort II osteotomy. On the following cases, patients who had represented midfacial deficiency and mandibular prognathism were treated with combined orthodontic-surgical therapy by Le Fort II osteotomy and BSSRO.

In order to use superior impact properties couples to low density in laminated composites it is necessary to accommodate the anisotropic nature of resin impregnated fibers. Its stiffness is determines by stacking orientation. Genetic algorithm(GA) is probabilistic optimization technique by principle of natural genetics and natural selection and neural network(NN) is useful for prediction operation on the basis of learned data. Therefore, in this study minimum stiffness optimization of laminated composites is achieved by GA and required deflection is predicted by NN.

The purpose of this study is to survey the realities of the claims caused by exporting shoes in Busan, to analyze their problems, and to suggest the solutions in the long term point of view. For this study, first we selected forty-eight exporting companies among fifty-five in Busan, and surveyed in order to understand the actual conditions and the problems through the questionaires. The main contents of questions are the existances of claims, the contents of claims, the ways of solving and so on, with special reference to the sales contracts in which both parties specify the express terms such as quality, quantity, payment, insurance, inspection, claims and arbitration, and Incoterms(1980) as a governing law. One hundred and fifty claims for shoes against forty-four exporting companies were filed during twenty-two months from January, 2983 to October , 1984 But the remained four companies got the complaints or the protests from the buyers. Seventy claims among them, which are of 47%, were filed from the U.S, twenty-two from Japan, thirty-two from the E. C, so total eighty-three percents are of three regional areas; the U.S, Japan, and the E.C. In the survey regarding the causes of claims, the quality related claims were eighty which were 53% of total claims, the quantity claim sixteen, the shipment claims eight, and the L/C related claims ten. The Agreement of General Terms and Conditions of Business is a contract which stipulates general and common terms of sale, and becomes the basis of each offer. When we make this agreement, especially we should be careful about the following terms: quality term, price term, payment term, quantity term, packing term, shipment term, and trade term. Other important counter-measures suggested in our survey and studied as follows: 1. Enhancement of recognition for sales contract. 2. Special training program for sales contract. 3. Study of legal aspects of sale. 4. Revision of export inspection system. 5. Efficient operation of commercial arbitration.
진화 알고리즘을 이용한 적층복합재료의 최적설계에 관한 연구

The virtually limitless combinations of ply orientations, ply thickness and ply stacking sequences offered by laminated constructions considerably enhance the design flexibility inherent in composite structures. And it is known that evoutionary algorithms has an excellent ablility in the area of combinatorial optimazation problem. Therefore, it is necessary to optimize ply orientations, ply thickness and ply stacking sequences according to the constraint conditions using evoutionary algorithms. This paper presents optimization techniques to minimum stiffness and weight design of laminated composites.
평면굽힘하중을 받는 Al 2024-T3 합금의 미소균열 분포특성에 관한 연구

Machine structures, aircraft and pressure vessel etc. are designed by fail-safe or safe-fail concept but on the basis of existance of internal defect or crack initiation in early stage of fatigue life. Failure or fracture of machine structures is mainly occured by fatigue and relation between stress intensity factor range and crack growth rate can predict remaining life in components containing through-the-thickness crack but fatigue life of smooth specimen is dependent of initiation, growth and coalescene of micro-crack. Therefore, this paper presents relation between statistical properties of micro crack and fatigue life ratio in age-hardened Al 2024-T3 tested in-plane bending.
다축하중을 받는 적층복합재료의 강성 및 중량 최적설계에 관한 연구

The present paper deals with the stiffness and weight optimization of laminated composites under multiaxial loading on the basis of genetic algorithms. Laminated composites are in the form of laminates consisting of multiple laminae oriented in the design directions and bonded together in a structural unit. Design variables used in optimization are layer angle and thickness. In order to prevent GA from premature convergence, subelitism is used instead of elitism. It is shown that GA is applicable to multivariable design as well as single varialbe design.
골격성 Ⅲ급 부정교합자의 양악수술후 연조직 변화의 평가

본 연구는 골격성 Ⅲ급 부정교합 환자에서 상악골 전방이동수술과 하악골 후방이동수술을 동시에 시행하였을 때 경,연조직 측모 및 연조직 후경의 변화를 관찰하고 경,연조직 변화의 상관성과 그 비율을 산출하여 교정-악교정 수술 복합 치료 계획의 수립과 결과의 예측에 이용하고자 하였다. 서울대학교병원 치과진료부 교정과에 내원하여 상, 하악골의 수직적 골격 부조화는 경미하고 전후방적 골격 부조화가 심한 골격성 Ⅲ급 부정교합으로 진단되어 술전 교정치료를 받고 1990년 7월부터 1995년 4월 중에 Le Fort I 골절 단술 또는 Le Fort Ⅱ골절단술로 상악골을 전방이동시키는 동시에 시상분할 골절단술로 하악골을 후방이동시킨 성인 환자 25명(남자 13명, 여자 12명)을 대상으로 수술전, 후 측모두부방사선사진을 계측, 분석하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1. 상악골의 전방이동에 따른 상순부 연조직의 수평적 변화는 Stms를 제외하면 상관성이 높았으며 A point의 전방이동에 따라 Sn, SLS, LS 는 각각 71%,67% 37%의 비율로 전방이동하였다. 2. 하악골의 후방이동에 따른 하순부 연조직의 수평적 변화는 상관성이 상당히 높았으며 ID, B Point,Pog, Gn의 후방 이동에 따라 LI, ILS, Pog', Gn'은 각각 84%, 107%, 96%, 97%의 비율로 후방이동하였다. 3. 하악골의 후방이동에 따라 SLS, LS, Stm, LI 는 중등도의 산관성을 가지며 하방이동하였다. 4. 경조직의 전후안면고경비율과 연조직의 상,하안면고경은 수술전후 유의한 차이가 없었으나 수술후 Stm의 하방이동으로 하순고경에 대한 상순고경의 비율은 유의성있게 증가하였다(p<0.001). 5. 연조직 후경은 수술후 LI-LIH에서는 증가하고 LS-LSH에서는 감소하였으며 LS-LSH의 수술후 변화량과 수술전 후경은 역상관관계를 나타내었다(p<0.001). The purpose of this study was to evaluate the amount and interrelationship of the soft and hard tissue changes after simultaneous maxillary advancement and mandibular setback surgery in skeletal Class Ⅲ malocclusion. The sample consisted of 25 adult patients(13 males and 12 females) who had severe anteroposterior skeletal discrepancy. These patients had received presurgical orthodontic treatment and surgical treatment which consisted of simultaneous Le Fort I or Le Fort Ⅱ osteotomy and bilateral sagittal split ramus osteotomy. The presurgical and postsurgical lateral cephalograms were evaluated. The computerized statistical analysis was carried out with SPSS/PC program. The results were as follows: 1. The correlation of maxillary hard and soft tissue horizontal changes were high and the rations for soft tissue to A point were 71% at Sn, 67% at SLS and 37% at LS. 2. The correlation of mandibular hard and soft tissue horizontal changes were very high and the rations were 84% at LI, 107% AT ILS, 96% at Pog' and 97% at Gn'. 3. The correlation of mandibular hard tissue horizontal changes and soft tissue vertical changes were moderate. 4. The upper to lower lip length were increased(P<0.01). 5. The soft tissue thickness were decreased in upper lip and increased in lower lip(p<0.001). The postsurgical changes were reversely correlated with initial thickness in upper lip.
극치통계해석을 이용한 Al 2424-T3합금의 피로강도설계에 관한연구

The fracture of a structure, machine, machine part comes of surface micro-crack initiated and propagated at the root notch, where the actual stress is high. Irregular distribution characteristics of micro-crack on the basis of elastic-plastic fracture mechanics doesn't predict exactly remaining life of them. It is thought that maximum micro-crack length represents the total fatigue damage because fatigue can be characterized as a progressive failure phenomenon that proceeds by the propagation and coalescence of micro-cracks to an unstable size. The maximum micro-crack length in an area larger than the sample area can by estimated by statistics of extremes. Therefore, the remaining life of components can be accurately predicted using the distribution of micro-crack length in critical area and the fatigue model.
