      • 각종 단백질 사료의 반추위내 분해도 및 하부 장기내 소화율에 관한 연구

        본 연구는 반추가축사료의 단백질 이용효율을 높이기 위한 방안으로 국내 사료회사에 주로 이용하고 있는 단백질 사료의 반추위내 분해단백질(RDP)과 비분해단백질(UDP) 및 소장에서도 흡수되지 않는 이용불능단백질 함량들을 측정하기 위하여 실시하였다. 반추위와 십이지장에 캐뉼라를 부착한 젖소에 in sacco와 mobile bag 기술을 이용하여 여러 가지 원산지와 종류가 다른 단백질 원료사료의 반추위내 분해율과 소장 내에서의 이용성을 평가한 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 나일론백을 이용한 반추위내 단백질 분해율을 측정한 결과 UDP가에 있어 우모분(78.0), 옥수수글루텐(75.2), 어분(64.9), 알팔파 펠렛(46.6), 면실박(44.9), 채종박(42.9), 캐놀라박(41.4), 참깨박(40.6), 대두박(39.2), 해바라기씨박(30.4) 순으로 나타났다. 2. 11가지 사료를 mobile bag을 이용하여 전장 소화율을 측정한 결과 건물 소화율은 49.1%(야자박)에서 97.5%(대두박)까지, 단백질 소화율은 71.5%(우모분)에서 99.6%(대두박), 소화 가능한 UDP 함량은 63.5%(대두박)에서 99.0%(우모분)의 범위를 나타내었다. 3. 우모분, 알팔파 펠렛 및 어분 등과 같이 소화 가능한 UDP 함량이 낮은 것은 비소화성 섬유소에 결합되어 있는 ADF-N 함량도 다른 시료보다 매우 높았다. 4. 알팔파 펠렛은 지나친 열변성으로 인해 ADF-N 함량이 사료들 중에서 가장 높았으며 이로 인해 전장 단백질 소화율은 물론 소화 가능한 UDP함량도 매우 낮은 것으로 나타났다. This study was conducted to estimate the amount of rumen degradable protein(RDP), undegradable rumen dietary protein(UDP) and digestible UDP, thereby utilizing dietary protein sources in ruminant diets more effectively. Ruminally and intestinally cannulated cows were used for in sacco and mobile bag techiniques to estimate ruminal degradability and intestinal availability of protein feed ingredients. The results obtained were as follows; 1. Based on in sacco data, UDP values were ranked as feather meal(78.0), corn gluten meal(75.2), fish meal(64.9), alfalfa pellet(46.6), cottonseed meal(44.9), rapeseed meal(42.9), cannola meal(41.4), sesame oil meal(40.6), soybean meal(39.2), sunflower oil meal(30.4). 2. Actual degradabilities in total digestive tract for 11 selected feeds varied from 49.1%(palm kernel meal) to 97.5%(soybean meal) for DM and from 71.5%(feather meal) to 99.6%(soybean meal) for protein, and digestible UDP contents ranged from 63.5%(soybean meal) to 99.0%(feather meal). 3. Feather meal, alfalfa pellet and fish meal, containing low amount of digestible UDP, also have high concentrations of acid detergent fiber bound N(ADF-N) which is unavailable for animals. 4. Alfalfa pellet has highest in ADF-N concentrations among protein ingredients due to extreme heat damage, thus protein degradability in total digestive tract was also very low.

      • 이침시술이 체중조절 선수의 스트레스 호르몬 변화에 미치는 영향

        This experimental study was designed to investigate effect of auricular acupuncture on the change of the urinary stress hormone in weight control of taekwondo players. Veteran taekwondo players in college were randomly divided into two groups, sample group(10 subjects were treated with auricular acupuncture) and control group(10 subjects were not treated with auricular acupuncture). The methods of weight reduction are low calorie diet, sauna and regular exercise(3hr/day) for 14 days. The acupoint of auricular acupuncture is shinmoon, stomach, endocrine, pancreas, hunger point. The urine samples were collected all four times at pre-treatment, post-treatment, before and after competition. These samples were used to analyze for cortisol, epinephrine and norepinephrine. The statistically analyzed results of stress hormones were summarized as follow; Urinary cortisol was shown significant increase in sample group at post-treatment. Epinephrine was shown signigicant increase in sample group at post-treatment, and control group was shown significant change at post-competition compared to sample group. Norepinephrine in control group was shown significant decrease at pre-competition compared to sample group.

      • 성상세포종에서 등급에 따른 p53 단백 발현의 차이

        Background and Objectives: Mutation or inactivation of the p53 is important mechanism in a wide variety of human tumors. The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between expression amount of p53 protein and the grade of astrocytic gliomas. Materials and Methods: This study analyzes 40 paraffin-embedded astrocytic glioma, including 10 cases of low grade, 20 cases of high grade, and 10 cases of maligant glioma (glioblastoma multiforme) were used to analyze the status of abnormal accumulation of wild type of p53 protein. The evaluation of the immunostaining result was based on the percentage of positive neoplastic cells. Results: Average positive cell rate of p53 protein were 4.2%, 35.4% and 16.2% in low grade astrocytoma, high grade astrocytoma and glioblastoma multiforme, respectively. Conclusion: p53 gene mutations were correlated with histologic grade of glial tumors. High grade and glioblastoma multiforme showed higher positive cell rate than low grade astrocytoma. These results suggest that the high positive rates of p53 protein is related to the poor prognosis.

        용접 불티 차단막의 방염 및 난연성능 평가

        본 연구에서는 조선 및 화학공장 등 산업현장에서 용접ㆍ용단작업 공정에서 비산 되는 불티에 의한 화재 예방를 위하여 불티 차단막에 관한 방염 및 난연 성능 평가를 실시하였다방영성능 실험결과 기존제품의 용접 불티 차단막 6종 모두 충분한 방염성능을 갖고 있었다그러나, 용접ㆍ용단 불꽃에 의한 난연성실험 결과 섬유유리에 수지코팅한 제품 2종은 용접ㆍ용단 불티에 대한 화재예방성능이 부족한 것으로 나타났다용접 불티 차단막의 최소산소지수의 국내기준은 30이상으로 고려하는 것이 좋을 것으로 사료된다용접 불티 차단막의 성능향상을 위한 지속적인 연구가 필요하며, 방염 및 난연성능 기술지침 개발의 기초자료로서 활용될 수 있을 깃으로 사료된다. This study was undertaken to evaluate the performance of flame retardant for fire precaution from sparks at welding-cutting process in industry sites such as shipbuilding yard and chemical factoryAs the results of the performance experiment, six kinds of welding blanket in samples that are used commercially had enough in the performance of flame retardantNevertheless, the performance to fire precaution on welding blanket shows that the coating product of two kinds is not sufficientThe lower oxygen index to welding blanket is considered that it is more than 30 in domestic standardWe suggested that the performance improvement of flame retardant for welding blanket need continuously, and the guideline of the flame retardant to welding blanket should be considered and established.

        방선균 분리주가 생산하는 Phospholipase C 저해물질인 MT2617-2B의 분리 및 특성

        방선균 분리주 MT2617-2의 배양액으로 부터 phospholipase C (PLC) 저해물질인 MT2617-2B를 n-butanol 추출 및 column chromatography 법을 이용하여 분리하였다. MT2617-2B는 IR ^13C- 및 ^1H-NMR 그리고 ESI-MS에 의한 구조분석 결과, 한 개의 hemiketal ring, polyhydroxyl 및polymethyl groups으로 구성되었으며 side chain으로 한 개씩의 malonate 및 guanidine group을 가지는 분자량 1057의 macrolide 화합물이었다. 따라서, MT2617-2B를 기존의 macrolide 항생제인 copiamycin 및 niphithricin A로 동정하였다. 한편, MT2617-2B는 methanol 용액에서 실온에서 방치하였을 때 도일한 분자량을 가진 두 개의 이성질체를 생성하였다. PLC γ1과 -β1에 대해 각각 25 및 50㎍/㎖의 IC_50 값을 가지며, Staphylococcus aureus 와 Candida albicans에 대해서는 항균활성을 나타내지만 Escherichia coli에는 나타내지 않았다. A phospholipase C (PLC) inhibitor (MT2617-2B) was isolated from the culture broth of actionmycetes isolate MT2617-2 by the extraction with n-butanol and column chromatographic techniques. The molecular weight of the inhibitor was 1057, by the spectroscopic analyses of IR ^13C- and ^1H-NMR and ESI-MS. The chemical structure of MT2617-2B was found to be a macrolide compound consisted of a hemiketal ring, polyhydroxyl and polymethyl groups, which had a malonate and guanidine group as its side chain. MT2617-2B produced its two isomers having the same molecular weight by standing in methanol solution at room temperature. Therefore, MT2617-2B was identified as copiamycin and niphithricin A, macrolide antibiotics. The values of IC_50 against PLC γ1 and PLC-β1 were 25 and 50㎍/㎖, respectively. MT2617-2B had antimicrobial activities against Staphylococcus aureus and Candida albicans, but not against Escherichia coli.

      • 태권도선수의 체중감량시 補中治濕湯 투여가 신체조성, 혈액생화학적 변인 및 호르몬 변화에 미치는 영향

        This study was to investigate the effects of Bo-Jung-Chi-Seub-Tang administration on body composition, blood biochemical factors and hormonal changes during 2 weeks Weight Reduction in TaeKwonDo Athletes. 10 subjects were belong to be in elite athletes of KNUPE. They were divided two groups(administration group and non-administration) by 5 subjects in each group randomly. As the results of the experiment, conclusions were made as follows: In terms of % Fat, Fat W.T., Mg, TG, Renin, it was shown significant differences between two groups. Although there were no significant differences, rate of weight reduction and levels of LBM, BUN, total cholesterol, HDL-C, LDL-C in Bo-Jung-Chi-Seub-Tang administration group were changed more higher or lower than non-administration group.

      • 영아기 거대세포 바이러스(CMV) 간염 : 혈청내 CMV 특이 IgM 항체와 소변내 바이러스 조기항원 검출에 대한 연구

        Four hundred and three infants with hepatosplenomegaly or abnormal liver function were studied for antibodies of Hepatitis A and B, Rubella, Herpes simplex virus, Cytomegalovirus (CMV), Toxoplasma and Syphilis. Among them, 22 infants were also studied for viruses in urine. Monoclonal antibodies especially, for that of CMV, were used to detect virus encoded early antigen with in the urine and the following results were obtained. Among the 403 infants tested, 37 cases (9.2%) were confirmed CMV infection by detection of CMV specific IgM or viral antigen detection in urine. Among the 22 cases in which virus culture was done in urine, 8 cases (36.4%) were confirmed CMV infection and CMV was isolated in 6 cases (27.3%). Virus isolation rate of confirmed CMV infected cases was 75% (6/8). It can be concluded that hepatitis due to CMV plays a significant role in neonatal hepatitis in Korea.

        Preparation of UV Curable Gel Polymer Electrolytes and Their Electrochemical Properties

        We have investigated the effect of the number of ethylene oxide (EO) units inside poly(ethylene glycol)dimethacrylate (PEGDMA) on the ionic conductivity of its gelled polymer electrolyte, whose content ranges from 50 to 80 wt%. PEGDMA gelled polym er electrolytes, a crosslinked structure, were prepared using simple photo-induced radical polymerization by ultraviolet light. The effect of the number of EO on the ionic conductivity was clearly shown in samples of lower liquid electrolyte content. We have concluded that the ionic conductivity increased in proportion to both the number of EO units and the plasticizer content. We have also studied the electrochemical properties of 13PEGDMA (number of EO units is 13) gelled polymer electrolyte.
