Healthy adults and patients with history of breathing disorders and stroke were enrolled in this clinical study and underwent simultaneous test by polysomnography (PSG). The present study analyzed fluctuation in vital signs and movement activity extracted from the multichannel ballistocardiographic signals based on piezo sensor distribution under bed mattress. We assessed the validity using contact less technology to screening obstructive sleep apnea and stroke. We found an agreement of apnea-hypopnea index (AHI) with the number of hypopneas estimated by our method. Also we found abnormal changes in body pressure distribution during sleep in patient having history of stroke. Mean area of distribution for stroke was 3.44±0.82 having significant lower values than ones without stroke who had value of 9.19±2.35.

Recently various sensors have been utilized easily. The sensors are “small size”. They detect various physiological data of EMG (Electromyogram), EEG (Electroencephalogram), Pulse wave, Body Vibration, and Acceleration of muscle. These detected data are possible to send to analyzer by “wireless system”. In the presentation, following themes will be presented. (1) Both “EEG and Pulse wave” are measured simultaneously. The cerebral activity (i.e., brain activity) is evaluated with use of face scale that presents frequency of EEG. Pulse wave evaluates level of activity of autonomous nervous system as LF/HF. Both activities of brain nervous system and autonomous nervous system are possible to detect and evaluate simultaneously. The measured system is applied to evaluation for patients with chronic pain. (2) Both “EMG and MMG (Mechanomyogram)” are measured simultaneously. EMG is electric vibration just before muscular contraction, and MMG is mechanical vibration during muscular contraction. MMG denotes muscular ability. The measured system is applied to evaluation for muscles of thigh that has the largest muscles in the body. The measurement makes clear physical strength of human body. Other application is tried to study physiological tremor (e.g. Shivering) with use of EMG and MMG. The degree of advance of both disease of brain and aging is studied. (3) “Body vibration” is measured during sleep. The vibration is possible to extract many information from human body that shows heart rate, autonomous nervous activity, and sleep level. The measurement is applied to person in a home for the aged, and the results makes clear state of health in sleep. The results point out improvement of living rhythm for person lived in a home.

An orb was generated in experiments under an extracorporeal space and the orb and conciousness were synchronized to draw a thought graphy in manner and to caputure the formation process with a movie was conducted. The conditions for spiritual photo footage was studied.
Quantitative Evaluation of “Body Care”

There were various kinds of body treatments or massages in the world. “Body preparation (SEITAI)”, “Anma” and “Acupressure” had been well known in Japan, and their treatments became popular. Various kinds of treatments were classified by techniques which practitioner touched body directly or not and by direction of treatment. “Body Care” made subject rest of heart and body, and made relaxation of tension. The effect of “Body Care” was known qualitatively, but the effect has not been researched quantitatively. In the presentation, both psychological and physiological effects by the body care were studied quantitatively.
