        저자들은 척수압박으로 하지마비를 보인 환자에서 수술 후에 급성 백혈병에 동반된 과립구성 육종으로 진단된 환자 1례를 경험하였기에 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다. Granulocytic sarcoma(GS) is an uncommon tumor composed of immature cells of the granulocytic series. Most case of GS occur in the course of acute leukemia and the blast crisis of chronic leukemia, Rarely, however, it may present before leukemia becomes clinically apparent. It may also occur in patients with myeloproliferative disoders. GS has been reported that it occurs in 3% to 9% of patients with acute myelogenous leukemia(AML) and the incidence of GS is reported to be higher in patients with t(8;21). GS occurs relatively commonly in africa and has been reported to affect 10-25% of black children presenting with AML. This is very rare case of granulocytic sarcoma with AML(FAB M5) presented with spinal cord compression which was supported by decompression laminectomy.

      • 榮山湖의 水系에 對한 生態學的 硏究

        Ecological studies were carried out and the water quality was determined by the biological indicators and physicochemical factors at seven stations of Sandong Bridge, Hwangryong River, Nampyong Bridge, Kwangju Chon, Yongsanpo, Myongsan and Yongsan Lake from August, 1983 to March, 1984 in Yongsan River. The physicochemical water quality qas clear in the upper stream and though being polluted in Kwangju Chon and Yongsanpo, but recovered from pollution in the down stream by self-purification. The benthic invertebrates collected were composed of 44 species in 15 drders, and the number of species was more abundant in the upper stream than in the lower stream of Yongsan River. The species composition of the attached algae was 75 species in 38 genera. Diatoms appeared in all stations, but the green algae and the blue green algae occurred mainly in the upper stream. Estimation of saprovity from attached algae showed that the water quality was oligosaprobic orβ-mesosa-probic in the middle and lower stream of Uongsan River, and polysaprobic in Kwang-ju Chon.

      • 우리나라 株式市場에서의 月中效果와 그 原因에 대한 實證的 硏究

        The purpose of this study is to examine the existence of monthly effects and to discover the causes of monthly effects in the Korean Stock Market. According to the prior empirical studies, the existence of monthly effect varies largely depending on the selection of trading month. The results from this study show the monthly effect, confirmed by the fact that the mean cumulative return of the last half of calendar month exceeds that of the first half of calendar month, significantly exists in the Korean Stock Market opposed to the U.S. Stock Market. This study also found that the monthly effect is affected by corporate disclosure and is heavily influenced by the turn-of-the month effect. The empirical results found are as follows; First, by selecting calendar month as trading month, the monthly effect appears in the Korean Stock Market. Particularly, the fact that cumulative return for the last half exceeds that for the first half totally differs from the prior empirical results including Ariel's study. Second, January effect may affect the monthly effect, but large stocks show stronger evidence of the monthly effect even after excluding the returns realized during January. That is, large stocks have experienced higher month-end returns for the rest of eleven months Third, the weekend effect does not affect the monthly effect, but timely corporate disclosure appears to major causes of the monthly effect. Finally, this study suggests the optimal investment strategy based on utilizing the monthly effect. According to the cumulative returns for nine(six) trading days, the maximum return can be realized by holding stocks from the last five(four) trading days of the particular trading month to the first four(two) trading days of the next trading month. Therefore, it is recognized that the calendar trading effect are heavily influenced by the turn of the month effect.

        More than 95% reduction in BOD of swine manure treated with aerobic digestor can be obtained at F/M ratio of 0.06-0.143㎏·BOD/㎏ MLSS·day with 6.8 days hydraulic retention time. And in case of anaerobic digestor controlled at 35℃, more than 82% BOD removal can be obtained at VS loadings of less than 1.07㎏·VS/m³·day with more than 10 days sludge retention time.

      • Penicillinase Producing N.gonorrhoeae株와 Nom-Penicillinase Producing N.gonorrhoeae株의 약제 감수성에 관한 비교연구

        Studies were carried out to evaluate the actual status of the carriers infected with N. gonorrhoeae among the high-risk populations over the country and to determine the drug resistance patterns of β-lactamase producing N. gonorrhocae isolates, in particular attention to the recent increasing discoveries of Penicillinase producing Neisseria gonorrhoeae strains this country. The results could be summerized as follows: 1. The isolation rate of N. gonorrhoeae from the suspicious gonorrhoeal patients (men) were 37.5% on the average, out of a total of 817 examined, but from the prostitutes or bar-girls the isolation rate showed 9.4% on the average out of 3.609 examined, of the isolated 644 gonorrhoeal strains, one hundred and fifty-three strains were detected as β-lactamase producing N. gonorrhoeae. The average detection rate of β-lactamase producing N. gonorrhoeae was 23.8%, but the frequency of PPNG detection was much different depening on the areas where the specimens collected ranging from 3.8%(Chun buk do) to 41.2%(Kyung buk do), except the area Jaeju island where on PPNG was detected. 2. Most non-PPNG strains were able to be inhibited at the concentration of the drugs below 32ug/ml of Penicillin G and 8ug/ml of Ampicillin, but nearly half or more than half of the β-lactamase producing N. gonorrhoeae strains were not inhibited at 32ug/ml of the drugs, In other words, β-lactamase producing N. gonorrhoeae had acquired high resistance to Pehicillin G and Ampicillin. 3. In susceptibility of PPNG and non-PPNG to spectinomycin, Kanamycin, Tetracycline, Erythromycin, Cefuroxin, Cefoperazone, it seemed to be no significant diffevence, but some exceptions showing a peculiar drug resistance to 16ug/ml of Cefuroxin, 64ug/ml of Kanamycin, 512ug/ml of Spectinomycin or 32ug/ml of Tetracycline. And also a few multi-resistance like PPNG strains could rarely be detected showing resistance to the concentration of Tetracycline 32ug/ml, Cefuroxin 16ug/ml, Kanamycin 64ug/ml. 4. In the correlation of inhibitory Zone size dise diffusion method on the MICS by agar plate dilution method to 89 N. gonorrhoeae strains with Pencillin G, Ampicillin, Erythromycin, Tetracycline, and chlorampenicol, Ampicillin showed the highest correlation coefficient as an absolute value showing r=-0.7598, which had negative correlation. Through these studies β-lactamase producing N. gonorrhoeae strains were able to be found from the specimens collected through all over the provinces of the country except the Island of Jaejudo hopsitols.

      • 한국산 족부 백선균의 항진균제 감수성에 관한 연구

        Minimum inhibitory concentration(MIC) of griseofulvin, imidazole derivatives such as ketoconazole, econazole, miconazole and itraconazole on 52 strains of Trichophyton ruhrum, 22 strains of T. mentagraphytes, 10 strains of Microsporum spp. and 1 strain of Epidermophyton floccosum were determined after one week of incubation at 25C on Sabouraud dextrose broth. The results were summarized as followes : 1. The MICs of griseofulvin against 4 different tinea pedis fungi were ranged from 10-100mcg/ml. This values indicated that effectiveness of antifungal activity were relatively lower than those of three other imidazole derivatives such as ketoconazole, econazole, miconazole and one itraconazole. 2. Out of three imidazole derivatives, econazole had relatively higher inhibitory concentrations with 0.1-10mcg/ml against all tinea pedis isolated. 3. Out of 5 antifungal agents, itraconazole which is trizole derivatives showed the highest inhibitory activity with 0.1-10mcg/ml against all tinea pedis tested. 4. These results indicated that inhibitory activity of griseofulvin against tinea pedis were lower than those of four other antifungal agents tested. But these four antifungal agents such as ketoconazole, econazole, miconazole and. itraconazole were effective against tinea pedis tested.

      • 榮山湖 水質의 理化學的 特性

        1985년 4월부터 1987년 5월까지 7회에 걸쳐 영산호수계의 7개 調査地点에서 영산호 수질에 대한 이화학적 조사를 실시하였다. 투명도는 0.2∼1.9m의 변화폭으로 매우 혼탁한 상태였고 pH는 5.9∼8.2 범위로, alkalinity는 표층이 22.2∼59.4㎎/ℓ 저층이 18.5∼159.1㎎/ℓ, 염분도는 0.0∼1.6‰의 범위였으며 저층이 표층에 비해, 또한 하구둑부근의 하류에서 湖의 상류지역보다 높았다. 전기전도도는 표층이 87∼800㎛hos/㎝, 저층이 102∼5300㎛hos/㎝로 상·하류간의 변화가 염분도와 유사한 경향을 보였다. DO는 1.70∼13.99㎎/ℓ로 층별, 계절별에 따라 큰 변화를 나타냈고 COD의 값은 표층이 1.9∼6.6㎎/ℓ, 저층이 1.4∼7.3㎎/ℓ으로, BOD는 표층과 저층이 각각 0.5∼4.8㎎/ℓ, 0.6∼3,8㎎/ℓ 범위에서 변화하였으며, 영산호에 유입되는 유기물질 부하가 계절적으로 심하다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 표층과 저층에서 NH₄( )-N량은 각각 10.0∼205.0㎍/ℓ, 10.0∼260.0㎍/ℓ의범위에서, NO₃( )-N은 8.0∼309.0㎍/ℓ, 8.0∼316.0㎍/ℓ의 범위에서, NO₂( )-N량은 1.0∼18.0㎍/ℓ, 1.0∼21.0㎍/ℓ의 범위에서, PO₄³( )-P량도 1.0∼84.0㎍/ℓ, 1.0∼118.0㎍/ℓ으로 조사시기와 층별 그리고 조사지점에 따라 차이를 나타냈다. Physicochemical water quality of Yongsan Lake was studied at seven stations from April, 1985 to May, 1987. Transparency in the lake showed variation range from 0.2 to 1.9m and the lake was extremely turbid. Variation in pH ranged from 5.9 to 8.2 and alkalinity varied widely from 22.2 to 59.4㎎/ℓ in surface layer and from 18.5 to 57.1㎎/ℓ in bottom layer of the lake. Salinity varied from 0.0 to 1.6‰. The salinity of bottom layer was higher than that of surface layer and the salinity value of the downstream was higher than that of upperstream of the lake. Conductivity varied from 87.0 to 800㎛hos/㎝ in surfce layer and from 102.0∼5300.0㎛hos/㎝ in bottom layer. The variation of conductivity was similar to the case of salinity. DO contents in the lake showed extremely high variabilitydepending on months and layers of the lake, variation ranged from 1.7㎎/ℓ to 13.99㎎/ℓ. The value of COD varied from 1.9 to 6.6㎎/ℓ in surface layer and from 1.4 to 7.3㎎/ℓ in bottom layer. BOD of the lake was variable depending on the seasons and stations. BOD values ranged from 0.5 to 4.8㎎/ℓ in surface layer and from 0.6 to 3.8㎎/ℓ in bottom layer. COD and BOD variability from the results inidicated that the lake was generally high in organic matter loading. In surface layer and bottom layer of the lake, the content of NH₄( )-N were varied from 10.0 to 205.0㎍/ℓ and from 10.0 to 260.0㎍/ℓ, respectively, those of NO₃( )-N, from 8.0 to 309.0㎍/ℓ and from 8.0 to 316.0㎍/ℓ, respectively, those of NO₃( )-N, from 1.0 to 18.0㎍/ℓ and from 1.0 to 21.0㎍/ℓ, respectively and those of PO₃³( ) -P, from 1.0 to 84.0㎍/ℓ and from 1.0 to 118.0㎍/ℓ, respectiely. All of these nutrients of the lake were highly variable depending on the seasons and layers as well as stations.

        This study explores the potential of improving the physical properties of poly(trimethylene terephthalate) (PTT) by inducing thermotropic liquid crystalline polymers. The TLCP was synthesized by polycondensation reaction of terephthaloyl chloride with corresponding diols. The TLCP used was copolymers containing random PTT groups on the polymer backbone. The PTT moieties were used to increse compatibility between the PTT and the TLCP. The TLCP showed the nematic phase above those melting temperature(T_m) The TLCP seems to act as plasticizers and nucleating agents in the matrix polymers Liquid crystalline phase did not reaveal any significant macrophase separation and thermal degradaton under the temperature of processing condition.

      • Allylphenyl ether의 합성 및 oxymercuration-demercuration 반응

        Treatments of 2,4,6-trimethylphenol with allyl bromide, 4-bromo-2-methyl-2-butene in K₂CO₃/acetone lead to the corresponding allyl phenyl ether derivatives. Two allylphenyl ethers were compared with their splitting patterns in the HNMR spectrum. Additionally, allyl phenyl ether, 3, can react with Hg(OAc)₂/NaBH₄/NaOH(aq) to give the oxymercuration-demercuration product, 5 in good yield.
