      • 천안지역 일부 다중이용시설의 포름알데히드 농도에 관한 연구

        This study was conducted at a Terminal, a Parking Lot, an Underground shopping center, a Funeral hall and a Hospital waiting room of Cheon An area in August 2008 to examine the concentration level of HCHO(formaldehyde). The concentration level of the remodeled sites were 39.4 ± 12.0 ㎍/㎥ in the terminal, 32.7 ± 7.3 ㎍/㎥ in the parking, and 97.8 ± 29.4 ㎍/㎥ in the underground shopping center. The underground shopping center had the highest level and followed by the terminal and the parking. On the contrary, the site remodeling had the level of 17.7 ± 12.4 ㎍/㎥ in the funeral hall and 17.9 ± 0.6 ㎍/㎥ in the hospital waiting room. The funeral hall had highest level than that of the hospital waiting room. Both the remodeled sites and the not remodeled site had concentration level of HCHO below the standard level, but it was higher in the remodeled sites. There were no relations among the HCHO, the temperature and the humidity in facilities of Cheon An area.

      • 마늘 잼의 저장과정 중 성상변화

        In order to make a functional jam containing garlic, sugar, acid and pectin were mixed with garlic and concentrated by heating the mixture under atmosphere or vacuum conditions. And changes of some physico-chemical properties of the garlic jam(i.e., color, textural properties, vitamin C) were investigated during storage at 30℃. It was found that lightness(L) was higher in sample of vacuum concentration than that in atmosphere concentration and redness(a) and yellowness(b) were higher in sample of atmosphere concentration. During the storage lightness was found to decrease for all samples with more drastic decrease in sample of atmosphere concentration where browning was more severely observed after 8 weeks of storage. In terms of textural properties, hardness, chewiness and gumminess were higher in sample of atmosphere concentration than that in vacuum concentration. And springiness and cohesiveness were higher in sample of vacuum concentration. Although sensory score for garlic jam found to be lower than that for the existing strawberry jam, the present garlic jam might have high marketability if considering its physiological value. 마늘을 이용한 기능성 잼을 제조하기 위하여 마늘에 당, 산, 펙틴을 첨가하고 평압과 감압에서 농축하여 마늘잼을 제조한 후 색도, 조직특성을 조사하고 30℃에서 저장하면서 색도, 조직의 변화, 비타민 C의 변화를 측정한 결과는 다음과 같다. 원료마늘의 일반성분은 수분 57.2%, 탄수화물 23.6%, 조단백 1.9%, 조지방 0.75%, 회분0.93%이었고 비타민 C는 8.4 mg/l00g이었다. 명도는 진공농축한 것이 평압농축한 것보다 높았고 적색도와 황색도는 평압의 것이 높았다. 저장기간에 따라 명도는 모두 감소하였으나 평압에서 농축한 것이 감압보다 크게 감소하였으며 갈변화가 저장 8주에는 심하게 나타났다. 마늘잼의 조직특성은 hardness, chewiness, gumminess는 평압농축이 감압농축에 비하여 높았고 springiness, cohesiveness는 평압농축이 낮았다. 마늘잼의 기호성은 딸기잼에 비하여 떨어지지만 기능성을 감안할 때 시장성이 매우 높을 것으로 판단한다.

      • 低鹽食 患者의 病院食에 대한 嗜好度 및 適應實態 硏究

        본 연구는 대구 C 병원에 입원한 저염식 환자 51명을 대상으로 1991년 9월 5일에서 9월 20일 사이에 환자의 식이 섭취량과 저염식에 대한 이해도를 조사 하였으며 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 저염식을 하는 질한으로서는 간경화증, 신부전증, 심장병 외 기타 여러 질병이었으며 남녀 모두 간경화증의 비율이 각각 73%, 44%로 가장 높았다. 2. 저염식의 1일 영양공급량 및 섭취량은 열량의 경우 공급량은 남자가 2,390kcal, 여자가 2.236kcal 이고 섭취량은 남자 1.500kcal, 여자 850kcal이며 섭취율은 남녀 각각 63%, 38%로 낮았으며 탄수화물, 단백질, 지방, Na, K, Ca, cholesterol 모두 섭취율이 낮았다. 3. 학력과 저염식에 대한 이해도는 남자의 경우 학력과 이해도 와는 상관이 없었고, 여자의 경우는 무학에서 저염식에 대해 이해하고 있는 비율이 32%로 이는 자신의 질병에 대한 관심이 높아지고 병원에서의 저염식에 대한 영양교육으로 이해도가 높아진 것으로 사료된다. 4. 짠맛에 대한 행동과 저염식에 대한 이해도는 입원전 짜게 먹는다가 남자 43%, 여자 36%로 높았으나 입원후 남자는 자신의 질병치료를 위해 그냥 먹는다가 57.7%로 높았다. 5. 저염식에서 식욕을 촉진시키는 요소로 남자는 절반이 배가 고플때였고 여자의 경우 44%가 자기가 좋아하는 음식이 나왔을 때 식욕이 가장 촉진된다고 하였으며 좋아하는 저염식의 종류는 남녀 모두 채소류를 가장 좋아했으며 다음이 어 육류, 곡류, 우유 및 유제품 순이었다. 6. 저염식에서 좋아하지 않는 음식에 대한 행동으로는 남녀 모두 43%가 전혀 먹지 않는다 였으나 남자의 경우 46%가 자신의 건강을 위해 다 먹으려고 한다였고 여자는 56%가 전혀 먹지 않는다 였다. 7. 저염식에서 주식을 남기는 이유는 남자 69%, 여자 68%가 입맛이 없어서 주식을 남기는 경향이 높았다. 8. 저염식에서 부식을 남기는 이유는 전체 47%가 간이 맞지 않아서 였으며 남자의 경우, 역시 69%가 간이 맞이 않아서 였고 여자의 경우 간이 맞지 않아서, 반찬이 맛이 없어서가 24%였다. 이러한 경우 저염식에 있어 환자가 식욕을 잃지 않도록 조리방법을 고려하여 짠맛 대신 신맛, 단맛 등으로 맛을 내거나 식염대용품을 개발, 적용하여 식염 섭취량을 줄이면서 환자들에게 충분한 영양공급 및 만족한 식사가 될 수 있도록 해야 할 것으로 사료된다. To understand the adaptability of patients to low sodium diet, a Servey on food intake and preference was carried out for 15days from 5th of september 1991. In the servey, 51 patients feeding with low sodium diet were took part during their nursing by C hospital in Taegu. The results were as follows: 1. Low sodium diet supplied to the patients who had disease in their liver, kidney and heart. Liver disease was the highest and it occupied 73 per cent of male and 43per cent of female patients, respectively. 2. The diet composed of 2,390 Kcal per day for male and 2,236 Kcal for female, Male patients took in 1,599 Kcal per day, while female patients took 850 Kcal. 3. There was little relationship between comprehension about low sodium diet and regular education level. More than 30 per cent of female patients with no regular education also understood the necessity of low sodium diet. It was caused by nutritional education during their hospital nursing. 4. Approximately 40 per cent of the patients favored salty taste before hospital nursing. However, during their medical treatment, 58 per cent of mail patients took low sodium diet in spite of poor appetite. 5. Half of male patients show stimulated appetite to low sodium diet by hunger, while half of the female patients show appetite by serving of favorite food. They favored the foods in the order of vegetables, meats, grains, milk and milk products. 6. When they lost appetite, 43 per cent of male and 56 per cent f female patients did not take the diet. However, contrastly 46 per cent of male patients tried to take much foods as possible. 7. Approximately 70 per cent of the patients did not fully intake the rice and 50 per cent of the patients did not fully intake side foods because of their poor appetite to low sodium diet.

      • 만성 호중구성 백혈병 1예

        Chronic neutrophilic leukemia(CNL) is a very rare myeloproliferative disease, characterized by sustained mature neutrophilic leukocytosis with granulocytic bone marrow infiltration, high NAP(neutrophilic alkaline phosphatase) score and absence of philadelphia chromosome, It is frequently accompanied by hepatosplenomegaly, elevated serum vitamin B_12 and uric acid level. For the diagnosis of CNL, the leukemoid reaction, especially secondary to neoplasia, infection and autoimmune diseases, should be excluded. Since Tuohy's first description in 1920, more than 50 cases fullfilling the above criteria have been reported worldwide, and 4 cases in Korea. Several authors have demonstrated the defect of intracellualr killing in the mature neutrophil and this finding correlates well with the very high incidence of fatal infection, The hemorrhagic diasthesis in CNL is caused by functional abnormality of the platelet. This disease has tendency to transform to blastic crisis and acute leukemia as in other myeloproliferative disease, but characteristically shows frequent coexistence with multiple myeloma. Until now , the therapeutic trials in CNL have been disappointing. Hydroxyrea and busulfan can control hyperleukocytosis. On the basis of functional defect in neutrophil, alpha-2b-interferon has been tried and several reports have demonstrated the clinical and functional effect of interferon on CNL. CNL is very rate hematologic disease and there are few report about general aspect of disorder. We report here a typical CNL case presenting with splenomegaly and leukocytosis with a review of the literature.

        병원내 안전관리 향상을 위한 항목 및 지침 선정

        Background : The goal of this study was to establish the QA items and guidelines for preventing and improving of safety management. Therefore we investigated the nurses' recognition and knowledge of the safety and risk procedures and policies, and the agreement between the nurses beliefs on the degree of miportance of those procedures and policies, with actual implementation in hospitals. Method : The subjects of this study were 201 nurses who participated in a program called continuing education for nurses, which held in December, 1993. Result : The results of this study were as follows: 1. Among 18 types of hospital risks, the items that scored highest or the need of closer attention in safety management was the needle stick, medication errors, falling, and bed sores. 2. In most questions of the 18 incidences, the nurses showed that the estimated result would have positive signs except for hospital infections, burns, and bed sores. 3. Even though the survey shows that incidences and types of occurences varies according to the person's age and the time of incident, they mostly occur between midnight to 6AM. Falls and bed sores can be seen more in the elderly. Medication errors, hospital infections and bums are frequently found between the ages of one through twenty. 4. There was a higher mean score for recognizing the importance of those items than the importance of implementing them. Conclusion : In summary, nurses did perceive the need of safety management but the hospital policy for proper safety management was not established. So we recommended that the hospital administration would undertake an early detection and proper management system for hospital precautions, based on QA items & guidelines presented in this study.

      • 시각적 피드백을 병행한 어깨복합운동프로그램이 어깨비대칭 청년들의 어깨 근력과 정렬에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was to identify whether shoulder complex exercise program with visual feedback could improve the shoulder muscular strength and postural alignment in adolescents with shoulder asymmetry. Twenty eight subjects were recruited from the K university and divided into three groups: experimental 1, 2group(Each n=10) and control group(n=8). For 4 weeks, the experimental group 1 performed shoulder muscle complex exercise program and the experimental group 2 performed shoulder complex exercise program with visual feedback. The control group did not perform exercises. The shoulder muscle strength and difference between the height of left and right shoulders were assessed before, after training using the hand-held dynamometer and Global Posture System. Subordination variables, general characteristics analysis, χ² test and Kruskal Wallis H test were conducted to evaluate differences between groups and training before, after changes were checked Wilcoxon signed rank test with using the PASW 18.0 statistical program. The results of the study were as follows. 1) Both the experimental 1, 2group showed improvements in muscle strength of several muscles following training (p<.01). The control group showed significant reduction in the left posterior deltoid (p<.05), and did not show significant changes in examining other muscles (p>.05). And there were differences among three groups in shoulder muscle strength (p<.001). Muscle strength changes in several muscles were greater in the experimental 1, 2group compared with the control group (p<.001). Muscle strength changes in the several muscles were greater in the experimental group 2 compared with the experimental group 1 (p<.001) 2) Both the experimental 1, 2group showed significant decreases in the difference between the left and right shoulder heights following training (p<.01). The control group did not show change (p>.05). Changes in the difference between the left and right shoulder heights were greater in the experimental 1, 2group compared with the control group (p<.001).

        난백 마요네즈의 개발을 위한 주부들의 마요네즈 소비실태 및 난백 마요네즈의 물성과 관능적 특성

        The study was carried out to investigate housewive's consumption pattern and preference of mayonnaise for the development of egg-white mayonnaise. Data was collected from 515 housewives in Ulsan by self-administered questionnaire. The collected data were analyzed by SPSS package program. The results were as follows : 1. Most (98.1%) of housewives were concerned about nutrition and health and they considered that nutrition was the most important factor when purchasing food related items. 2. The frequency of using processed foods was two to three times a week and the reason for use it was the convenience. Usually the housewives obtained nutrition related information through mass media such as TV, radio(37.5%), and newspaper, magazine (32.1%). 3. 75.9% of the subjects thought mayonnaise is a high calorie food and 57.5% of them knew the basic ingredients of mayonnaise. Most(79.3%) of housewives perceived that cholesterol which is rich in egg yolk is related to cardiovascular disease and arteriosclerosis. Among family members, children showed high degree in the preference for mayonnaise. 4. Comparison of the low cholesterol mayonnaise which was made by egg white for egg yolk with commercial product was made by sensory evaluation and mechanical test. The viscosity and turbidity did not show any difference. Overall taste of low cholesterol mayonnaise was better than of commercial product. Based on these results of this study provided useful information for development of egg-white mayonnaise (low-cholesterol mayonnaise) and expected the possibility of using low cholesterol mayonnaise will be high.

      • 두경부 암환자의 항암화학요법에 따른 삶의 질 변화

        The purpose of this study was to assess the changes in quality of life wish elapse of chemotherapy in head and neck cancer patients. This study was a longitudinal descriptive design. The subjects were 9 patients who had stage III and stage IV head and neck cancer and received neoadjuvant cisplatin and 5-fluorouracil chemotherapy. Linear Analogue Self Assessment Scale (LASA) of the QOL which it includes eleven items(seven physical items appetite, nausea/vomiting, physical well-being, vigor activity, energy, sleepiness, fatigue and four mental items anger, anxiety, depression & vital power) were used to assess the quality of life eleven times(once in the prechemotherapy period and from the 1st day to 10th day postchemotherapy). The means of scores at each time were analyzed by repealed measures of ANOVA and Bonferroni multiple comparison method. The results are as follows : 1. The degree of appetites decreased significantly on the period between third and sixth day compared with that of appetites on the prechemotherapy day (p<0.001). 2. The degree of physical well-being decreased significantly on the period between first and fifth day compared with that of physical well-being on the prechemotherapy day (p<0.001). 3. The degree of nausea/vomiting decreased significantly on the period between first and fourth day compared with that of appetites on the prechemotherapy day (p<0.001). 4. The degree of anger decreased significantly on the second, fourth, eighth and ninth day after chemotherapy compared with that of anger on the prechemotherapy day(p<0.001). 5. The degree of fatigue decreased significantly on the fourth day compared with that of fatigue on the prechemotherapy day(p<0.001). 6. The increment of nausea/vomiting and poor appetite started on the 2.89th day and 3.67th day after chemotherapy, respectively. 7. The increment of sleepiness started on the 2.56th day after chemotherapy. 8. The increment of depression and anxiety started on the 2.33th day and 3.33th day after chemotherapy, respectively. 9. The lowest degrees of nausea/vomiting and poor appetite were 37.00±17.9 % and 28.64±14.94 % after chemotherapy compared with those of nausea/vomiting and poor appetite on the prechemotherapy day, respectively. 10. The lowest degrees of anger and vigor activity were 48.12±28.3 % and 39.83±24.9 % after chemotherapy compared with those of anger and vigor activity on the prechemotherapy day, respectively. 11. The recovery rates of eight items of quality of life (appetite, vigor activity, energy, fatigue, anger, anxiety, depression & vital power) were shown to reach a peak on the tenth day after chemotherapy and be reached to almost 84 % compared with those of quality of life on the prechemotherapy day. 12. The recovery rates of physical well-being and sleepiness were shown to reach to 67.75 % and 95.68 % on the 10th day after chemotherapy compared with those of physical well-belong and sleepiness on the prechemotherapy day. 13. The recovery rates of seven physical items were faster than those of four mental items on the 10th day after chemotherapy. In conclusion, it is suggested that nursing care strategies to improve the quality of life in patients with chemotherapy would be established both physically and mentally, and be extended at least ten days when patients stayed their home after chemotherapy.

      • 농촌여성의 성역할태도와 스트레스인지 및 디스트레스

        This study was to provide basic materials for inhancing the welfare of agricultural women by finging out the gender-role attitude, the level of stress perception and distress. For this purpose, the questionaire survey was constructed to 293 agricultural women in Young il Gun in KyongBuk area. And the results of this study are as follows. The gender-role attitude of agricultural women is relatively modern when their age are lower and education level are higher. The level of stress perception of agricultural women is higher than that of the urban married women. Also distress level of agricultural women is higher than that of the urban married women, and the physical distress is higher than mental distress. Higher aged women, lower-education group and longer-labortime group showed the higher stress perception level. The level of stress perception of agricultural women correlated with distress level and distress level was higher than the level of stress perception. And the level of distress is higher than that of stress perception of agrecultural women.
