        The composition and the microstructure of the Ag-Cu alloy electrodeposits electroplated in Succinimide bath were investigated varying the electrolysis conditions such as bath composition, current density and additive agents etc. The cathode overpotential increased with the increase of Succinimide concentration and current density ratio in the bath. The Ag content of the alloy deposits decreased with the increase of current density and pH and temperature in the bath. The optimum condition for 78wt.%Ag-22wt.%Cu code position alloy is an follows : pH10(adjusted by NH_4OH), 0.03M AgNO_3, 0.27M Cu(NO_3)_2 3H_2O, 0.5M Succinimide in bath and 3.5A/dm^2∼5.5A/dm^2 current density.

        Today, we realize that modern buildings and post-modern buildings are rely heavily on an insistent use of elementary geometrial shapes. Some, like the square, are easy to draw and others, like the circle and the triangle, or solids based on them like the cylinder, are rather more awkward to manage. Yet the worst contemporary architects and industrial designers will use them. The idea has got about that elementary geometrical shapes are in some way better than more complicated shapes. Generally Speaking, we owe this tendency to Neo-Classical architect. But it goes back much further. The objectives of this report are to analize the process that have been developed since seventeenth century, and this tendency can not equalize with original conception of Platonism.

        Scheduling is an important step which decides designed area and execution time of result hardware. Pipelining is a technique for increasing execution speed and resource utilization of designed hardware in case of executing much successive data. In this paper, we present an pipeline scheduling algorithm which decreases search space in getting through with the optimal solution. This algorithm can be used with other constructive scheduling algorithms. Joining with a constructive algorithm is showed in this paper. This algorithm also can be used to decrease search space in simulated annealing scheduling algorithm.

Female; 1,909)were measured from May 1 to May 31 in 1986 and various physical and nutritional indices related to them were calculated.

        The purpose of this study was to reform practically a Korean Judo's Doechigi-Bon(Forms of Counterattack, judo's Gaeshi no Kata, Judo's Uradori no Kata, Judo's Gonosen no Kata) that was established in 1955 Korea, according to changing of techniques by Judo's modernization, in order to have Judo's carefulness and systematic diffusion.       • Host Plant Preference of Alfalfa Weevil, Hypera postica Gyllenhal (Coleoptera: Curculionidae), against Different Gyllenhal (Coleoptera: Curculionidae), against Different

        Alfalfa weevil, Hypera postica Gyllenhal, is regarded as one of the most important insect pests on Chinese milk vetch and hairy vetch. The insect usually feed on leaves, stems and pods of the green manure which causes severe reduction of biomass. This study was conducted to observe the occurrence of H. postica larva and adult on Chinese milk vetch in 2009 to 2010, and to evaluate host plants preference of 11 different seedlings in 2010, Milyang, Korea. Occurrence of H. postica larvae on Chinese milk vetch was observed to increase from early April clearly and its peak population was showed during middle to late April. The 1st generation of newly emerged adult of H. postica was appeared on 20th May. Newly emerged H. postica adult was fed on green manure such as Chinese milk vetch and hairy vetch as well as various seedlings located at nearby upland. And then the insects were migrated into aestivating places in middle to late of June. Thus, host plant preference of H. postica adults were evaluated with 11 different seedlings using transparent acrylcage and at Chinese milk vetch field. As a result, H. postica adult preferred on Chinese cabbage, followed by soybean, kale, foxtail millet and proso millet. The damaged rating of seedlings were shown to have the same trend with adult occurrence. In particular, few H. postica adults were occurred on eggplant, lettuce, corn, crown daisy and peanut, and thereby those crops were regarded as non-preference plants due to the absence of damage. These informations can be used by upland farmers who sowing from late May to early June for effective management of H. postica.

      • Preparation of resistant starch/poly(vinyl alcohol) blend films with added plasticizer and crosslinking agents

        <P>We report on the physical properties of films synthesized with native corn starch (NCS) and resistant starch (RS4) prepared with NCS. NCS and RS4/poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA) blend films were synthesized with a mixing process and casting method. Glycerol (GL) and citric acid (CA) were used as additives. Glutaraldehyde (GLU) was used as a crosslinking agent of the films. RS4 was synthesized with sodium trimetaphosphate and sodium tripolyphosphate as a crosslinker. Then, the RS4 thus synthesized was confirmed by the pancreatin–gravimetry method, swelling power, differential scanning calorimetry, and X-ray diffraction. The tensile strength, elongation, swelling behavior, and solubility of the films were measured. The results of the measurements indicated that the RS4-added film was better than the NCS-added film. In particular, the RS4/PVA blend film with CA as an additive showed physical properties superior to those of the other films. Also, the physical properties with GLU added as a crosslinking agent to the films were investigated. With increasing GLU contents, the tensile strength increased but the elongation, swelling behavior, and solubility values of the GL-added and CA-added films decreased. © 2007 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.         Fabrication and photocatalytic properties of ceramic ZnS nanocomposites

        Ceramic ZnS nanocomposites were prepared by mechanical processing and one-step heat sintering with powder mixtures offly ash, waste glass, and ZnS (template-free hydrothermal method manufacturing). Chemical durability and morphologicalcharacteristics of heat-treated samples at 800 oC with/without acid treatment were evaluated. The photocatalytic activities wereestimated with methyl orange (MO), methylene blue (MB), acetaldehyde (ATA), and 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid (2,4-D) asphotodegradation targets. Crystallization behaviors of the prepared ceramic ZnS nanocomposites were investigated using Xraydiffraction (XRD), field emission-scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM), and energy dispersive X-ray spectrometry(EDS). In addition, compressive and bending strength as mechanical properties were evaluated. Ceramic ZnS nanocompositeswere found to showed improvement in optimal photocatalytic reaction and physical properties regardless of acid treatmentwhen the amount of ZnS nanoparticles was increased from 7.0 to 25.0 wt%. Degrees of photocatalytic decomposition of MO,ATA, 2,4-D, and MB by acid treated ceramic ZnS nanocomposites containing 25 wt% ZnS were about 0.185, 0.121, 0.216,0.236, respectively, after UV irradiation for 180 min.

        Photocatalytic properties of ceramics TiO2 nanocomposites from waste resources

        Ceramics TiO2 nanocomposites were prepared by using titanium oxide (TiO2) nanoparticles, fly ash from the thermal powerplant and the mixed waste glass powder. We applied a mechanical milling method and thermal reaction in this process. Thephotocatalytic activities were estimated for methyl orange (MO), acetaldehyde (ATA), 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid (2,4-D),and methylene blue (MB) as photodegradation targets. Crystallinity, morphological properties, and chemical compositions forprepared ceramics TiO2 nanocomposites were also observed by X-ray diffraction (XRD), field emission-scanning electronmicroscopy (FE-SEM), and energy dispersive X-ray spectrometer (EDS). In addition, density, compressive strength, bendingstrength and chemical durability were measured to characterize the physicochemical properties of TiO2 nanoparticle contents (0-20 wt%). It was verified that addition of TiO2 nanoparticles considerably improves the physicochemical properties of theprepared nanocomposites samples. With increased TiO2 nanoparticle content, the photocatalytic activities of the ceramics TiO2nanocomposites for photodegradation target materials increased under UV light irradiation. The degree of photocatalyticdegradation of MO, ATA, 2,4-D, and MB in the ceramics TiO2 nanocomposites improved to about 0.264, 0.141, 0.302, and 0.368,respectively, after the UV irradiation for 240 min when 20 wt% TiO2 nanoparticle was added. In addition, the photocatalyticdegradation rate of photodegradation target materials was evaluated using the pseudo-first-order kinetics proposed by Lagergren.
