고출력 다중모드 반도체 레이저에 대한 단일 주파수 주입을 통한 잠금

최적의 빔 특성을 갖는 저비용, 고효율의 빔은 다양한 분야의 실험에서 매우 유용하다. 따라서 저출력, 단일 주파수의 다이오드 레이저 빔을 고출력 다중 모드 레이저에 광학적으로 주입하는 기술이 광범위하게 사용되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 외부공진기 다이오드 레이저를 주 레이저(SacherTEC 100)로 하여 종 레이저(Coherent S-79-1200C-100-Q)에 794nm 파장, 30mW 출력의 빔을 주입하였을 때, 단일모드로 주파수가 잠금이 되고, 460mW의 출력까지 얻을 수 있음을 확인하였다. 이러한 출력 빔은 헬륨원자를 33P2로부터 주양자수 n=26인 리드버그 상태로 전이시 키는데 활용이 가능하다. Because there is always interest in low-cost, reliable light sources displaying desirablespatial and spectral properties, optical injection has been widely used to explore the locking of low power, single-frequency diode laser beam into single stripe, broad area, high-power lasers. We are trying several new ideas, although there have been some previous studies. When we inject 30mW of 794nm light from a Sacher external cavity diode laser (master) into a Coherent S-79-1200C-100-Q (slave), the output changes dramatically from multimode to single mode up to a slave laser output power over 460mW. This maximum single mode power tracks the injected master laser power. The output frequency follows the master``s frequency. This light can be used to excite the Helium 33P2 state to the Rydberg states.
