        The analysis of the customers' mind is crucial in the modern society where marketing strategy is very important for the satisfaction of the customers. the purpose of this study was investigating the relationship between lifestyle characteristics and service satisfaction of sports center customer. To achieve this purpose, the population of this study are the participants of the swimming pool, bowling center, fitness club and golf club among the commercial sports center in Jeonju, Jeollabugdo. They are chosen by the multi-stage stratified random sampling considering the events and region. The valid samples are 420 persons at last among 500 persons except the 80 persons whose validity are determined low. To analyze the data, frequency analysis, factor analysis, t-test, ANOVA, regression analysis and covariance structural analysis are used in this study. In this study, those following results are gathered by analysing the data through above approaches. First, According to the background variation of the sports participator; material service to income, personal service to educational level and occupation, systematic service to sex and educational level, there are significant service satisfactions. Second, Lifestyle characteristics of the sports participator influence on service satisfactions significantly; persuit of the trend, social contact, nervousness and individualism influence on personal service social contact, persuit of the trend, nervousness and sentimentalism on systematic service and the other variations on material service.

        기술가치 평가를 위한 기술사업화 기간 및 비용 추정체계 개발

        기술사업화는 기업의 연구개발 과정 및 결과물을 시장에 효과적으로 연계하여 경제 가치를 창출하는 것을 의미한다. 거시적인 관점에서 보면 기술사업화는 국가수준의 R&D 효과성을 강화할 수 있으며, 관련된 산업의 발전을 촉진할 수 있다. 또한, 미시적인 관점에서 보면 기업이나 개인들은 기술사업화를 통해서 경쟁우위를 확보하고, 유지할 수 있다. 특정 기술이 사업화까지 이르기 위해서는 기술 기획, 기술의 연구와 개발, 상용화 즉 시장 진출까지의 크게 세 단계를 거치는 게 일반적이며, 이런 일련의 과정은 많은 시간과 비용을 수반한다. 따라서 연구개발 착수에서 상용화까지 소요되는 기술사업화 기간과 비용은 기업 입장에서는 시장 진출 전략을 결정하는 데 중요한 의사결정 정보가 되며, 기술 투자자에게는 기술가치를 합리적으로 평가하는데 더욱 중요한 정보가 된다. 이렇게 중요한 기술사업화 소요 기간과 비용을 과학적으로 추정하는 것은 매우 중요하지만 현재까지 이런 두 가지 정보에 대한 연구는 매우 부족한 실정이며, 널리 알려진 방법론도 부재한 상황이다. 본 연구의 목적은 기술사업화 기간과 비용을 추정하는 체계를 설계하고 이를 실제 기업데이터를 활용하여 개발하는 것이다. 구체적으로 특정 기술의 기술 자체의 요인, 기술개발 주체의 역량, 외부 환경 요인의 세 관점에서 어떤 요인들이 기술사업화 기간 및 비용에 영향을 주는지 도출하고, 해당 요인들의 수준에 따라 기술사업화 기간 및 비용을 제시하는 모형을 개발하고자 한다. 본 연구의 결과는 기술을 개발하는 주체와 기술을 투자하는 주체 모두에게 유용하게 활용될 것으로 기대된다. Technology commercialization creates effective economic value by linking the company"s R & D processes and outputs to the market. This technology commercialization is important in that a company can retain and maintain a sustained competitive advantage. In order for a specific technology to be commercialized, it goes through the stage of technical planning, technology research and development, and commercialization. This process involves a lot of time and money. Therefore, the duration and cost of technology commercialization are important decision information for determining the market entry strategy. In addition, it is more important information for a technology investor to rationally evaluate the technology value. In this way, it is very important to scientifically estimate the duration and cost of the technology commercialization. However, research on technology commercialization is insufficient and related methodology are lacking. In this study, we propose an evaluation model that can estimate the duration and cost of R & D technology commercialization for small and medium-sized enterprises. To accomplish this, this study collected the public data of the National Science & Technology Information Service (NTIS) and the survey data provided by the Small and Medium Business Administration. Also this study will develop the estimation model of commercialization duration and cost of R&D performance on using these data based on the market approach, one of the technology valuation methods. Specifically, this study defined the process of commercialization as consisting of development planning, development progress, and commercialization. We collected the data from the NTIS database and the survey of SMEs technical statistics of the Small and Medium Business Administration. We derived the key variables such as stage-wise R&D costs and duration, the factors of the technology itself, the factors of the technology development, and the environmental factors. At first, given data, we estimates the costs and duration in each technology readiness level (basic research, applied research, development research, prototype production, commercialization), for each industry classification. Then, we developed and verified the research model of each industry classification. The results of this study can be summarized as follows. Firstly, it is reflected in the technology valuation model and can be used to estimate the objective economic value of technology. The duration and the cost from the technology development stage to the commercialization stage is a critical factor that has a great influence on the amount of money to discount the future sales from the technology. The results of this study can contribute to more reliable technology valuation because it estimates the commercialization duration and cost scientifically based on past data. Secondly, we have verified models of various fields such as statistical model and data mining model. The statistical model helps us to find the important factors to estimate the duration and cost of technology Commercialization, and the data mining model gives us the rules or algorithms to be applied to an advanced technology valuation system. Finally, this study reaffirms the importance of commercialization costs and durations, which has not been actively studied in previous studies. The results confirm the significant factors to affect the commercialization costs and duration, furthermore the factors are different depending on industry classification. Practically, the results of this study can be reflected in the technology valuation system, which can be provided by national research institutes and R & D staff to provide sophisticated technology valuation. The relevant logic or algorithm of the research result can be implemented independently so that it can be directly reflected in the system, so researchers can use it practically immediately.         Wetting Layer Effect on Optical Gain of Strained CdTe/ZnTe Pyramidal Quantum Dots

        <P>The optical properties of strained CdTe/ZnTe pyramidal quantum dots (QDs) are investigated as a function of the wetting layer thickness using an eight-band strain-dependent k·p Hamiltonian. The ground-state subband energies in the conduction and valence bands rapidly decreases with the increasing wetting layer thickness. This is attributed to the reduction of subband energies in both the conduction and the valence bands due to the strain effect. The optical gain peak on the shorter wavelength side decreases with the increasing wetting layer thickness. On the other hand, the gain peak on the longer wavelength side is nearly independent of the wetting layer thickness. The decrease in the gain peak on the shorter wavelength side is related to the decrease in matrix elements corresponding to transitions between higher subbands such as (3,4) and (4,3).</P>

        Theoretical Studies on the Two-Dimensional Electron-Gas Properties of MgZnO/MgO/ZnO Heterostructures

        The polarization effects on the two-dimensional electron-gas (2DEG) of the ZnO/MgO/MgZnO heterostructure were theoretically investigated. The carrier confinement in the MgZnO/MgO/ZnO high-electron-mobility transistor (HEMT) structure is shown to be superior to that in the conventional MgZnO/ZnO HEMT structure. The electron density is shown to be very sensitive to the layer thickness and to become a maximum at a layer thickness of 2 nm. Also, the MgZnO/MgO/ZnO HEMT structure shows a larger saturation drain current than the conventional MgZnO/ZnO HEMT structure does. This is mainly due to the increased channel electron density induced by the enhanced polarization charge with the inclusion of the MgO layer.

        Risk of cancer in pre-dialysis chronic kidney disease: A nationwide population-based study with a matched control group

        Background: Cancer risk and epidemiology in pre-dialysis chronic kidney disease (CKD) warrant further investigation in a large-scale cohort. Methods: We performed a nationwide population-based study using the national health insurance database of Korea. We screened records from 18,936,885 individuals who received a national health examination ≥ 2 times from 2009 to 2016. Pre-dialysis CKD was identified based on serum creatinine and dipstick albuminuria results. Individuals with preexisting cancer history, renal replacement therapy, or transient CKD were excluded. A control group without evidence of kidney function impairment and matched for age, sex, low-income status, and smoking history was included. Risk of cancers, as identified in the claims database, was investigated using a multivariable Cox regression model including matched variables and other unmatched clinical characteristics as covariates. Results: A total of 471,758 people with pre-dialysis CKD and the same number of matched controls were included. Urinary (adjusted hazard ratio [HR], 1.97; 95% confidence interval [95% CI], 1.82-2.13) and hematopoietic (adjusted HR, 1.53; 95% CI, 1.38-1.68) malignancy risk was increased in pre-dialysis CKD and all CKD stages. However, the risk of digestive cancer was lower in the pre-dialysis CKD group (adjusted HR, 0.89; 95% CI, 0.87-0.92). The risk of digestive, respiratory, thyroid, and prostate malignancy demonstrated a non-linear association with CKD stage, with stage 1 or stage 4/5 CKD without dialysis demonstrating relatively lower risk. Conclusion: Cancer risk varied in pre-dialysis CKD compared to controls, and the association between cancer risk and CKD stage varied depending on the cancer type.

        Optical characteristics of type-II ZnTe/ZnSe quantum dots for visible wavelength device applications

        The optical characteristics of type-II ZnTe/ZnSe pyramidal quantum dots (QDs) were theoretically studied as a function of structural parameters such as the band offset, strain, capping layer thickness, and QD thickness. The band bending effect due to the strain dominantly occurs in the QD and the capping layer regions. As a result, the valence band wave function is shifted to the left side of the barrier and the conduction-band wave function is also dominantly located on the left barrier side. The transition energies are redshifted with increasing pyramid base, which is mainly due to a decrease in the valence subband energy. On the other hand, the subband energy in the conduction-band is shown to be nearly independent of the pyramid base length, showing a characteristic of a type-II band structure. Also, the transition energy is found to be nearly independent of the capping layer thickness.

        Purpose: Return of spontaneous circulation (ROSC) has been known as a predictor for survival in out-of-hospital cardiac arrest (OHCA). Still, there is high mortality in case of cardiovascular (CV) cause even though ROSC by prompt cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). The aim of this study was to evaluate the relationship between CPR time and mortality. Methods: We enrolled the 611 patients (≥ 18 years) visiting emergency department (ED) for OHCA from Jan. 2010 to July. 2012. We retrospectively analyzed the 77 patients (male 54 [70.1%]) with ROSC and CV cause. We compared prior CV risk factor, transporter, arrival time at ED (day or night), first ECG (ventricular arrhythmia or sinus arrest) and CPR time (more than 30 min or less than 30 min) between death and survival. Results: There is similar age and gender between 32 survival (male 25 [78.1%], mean age 63 years) and 45 death (male 29 [64%], mean age 61 years). Both had similar prior CV risk factors like ischemic heart disease, diabetes, hypertension, and stroke. However, the incidence of prior heart failure in death was significantly higher than in survival (17.8% vs. 3.1%, respectively). The first ECG was similar between both groups. The arrival time at ED was not different between both groups. However, the incidence of CPR duration more than 30 min in death was significantly higher than in survival (26.7% vs. 6.3%, respectively, p=0.02). Conclusions: Even though spontaneous circulation was returned by prompt CPR in patients with OHCA by CV cause, long CPR time might be associated with mortality.
