Recently many countries have concentrated their effort on the port automation, in order to be the Hub-port, that the ULCS (Ultra Large Container Ship) could come alongside the quay in their region. As the magnitude of the container ship increases, that of the container crane (used in quay) increases from 50ton-class to 61ton-class more and more. The wind velocity criteria to design the structures used in the port was upgraded from 30m/s to 40m/s due to change of the weather condition. When we design wedge type rail clamp which can protect container crane from sudden wind blast with constant clamping force regardless of the operating period, it is important to determine the angle of wedge within proper range. In this study we designed the wedge angle of the wedge-type rail clamp using the FEA.

This study was carried out to analyze the effect of machinery house loaction on the stability of high efficiency gantry crane which can improve the productivity of the container transportation work by reducing cycle time. The wind load was evaluated according to 'Load Criteria of Building Structures' enacted by the ministry of construction & transportation. The uplift forces of high efficiency gantry crane under this wind load were calculated by analyzing reaction forces at each supporting point. And variation of reaction forces at each supporting point was analyzed according to machinery house location.

Because strong wind is one of the few forces that, although considered in container crane design, still cause significant damage, a container crane was tested to investigate wind load characteristic in uniform flows. So, this study measured an external point pressure at the each members of a container crane according to a wind direction and a shape of members in a wind-tunnel test. The result of this test was compared to those of computation fluid dynamics using a CFX 10. The scale of a container crane model for wind tunnel test applied similarity scales to consider the size of the wind tunnel test section and the boundary condition for CFD is like wind tunnel test.
DSP를 이용한 유도 전동기 구동장치의 경제적 구현 기법

Recently, AC induction motors are replacing the conventional DC motors in industrial drive applications. This is due to the fact that AC drive system is more reliable and more economical than DC drives. And the vector control theory gives high performance control characteristics to AC drive systems. However, the application of vector-controlled AC drive technique to the industries is not easy since the background theory is hard to understand and the implementation methods are complicated. In this paper, an implementation method for the vector-controlled AC drive system is proposed. This includes the analysis of most recent techniques in power circuit of three-phase inverter, control algorithm, digital signal processor(DSP), and DSP software. The target of the implementation is high reliability and low price for industrial applications. The proposed technique is confirmed through an implementation and experiment of 1 kW AC induction motor drive system.
포러스콘크리트의 기초물성에 미치는 시멘트페이스트의 유동성 및 진동다짐시간의 영향에 관한 실험적 연구

This study analyzed the influence of paste fluidity and vibration time for fundamental properties of porous concrete. Results of this study were shown as follows: 1) Even if target void ratio is same, void ratio and compressive strength of porous concrete is different according to w/c, paste flow and vibration time. So, In case of target void ratio, we must consider the influence of w/c, past flow and vibration time. 2) Though w/c and vibration time is same, as paste flow increase, all void ratio, continuous void ratio, and compressive strength decrease and difference between upper and lower void ratio increase. 3) Though w/c and paste flow is same, as vibration time increase, all void ratio and continuous void ratio decrease and difference between upper and lower void ratio increase. Also, compressive strength increase by 10 seconds and decease after 10 seconds. 4) As types of superplasticizer is different, all void ratio, continuous void ratio, and compressive strength is different. So, we must give consideration to paste fluidity and vibration time in order that increase of strength of porous concrete and distribution of uniform void.
순차적으로 도우핑한 드레인을 가지는 다결정 실리콘 박막 트랜지스터의 특성 및 수소화 효과

We have fabricated a novel gradually doped drain(GDD) structured poly-Si thin-film transistor. The GDD poly-Si TFTs reduce a fabrication process step, compared with the conventional LDD poly-Si TFT. without LDD implant by employing taper etched Si0_2 film instead of LDD implantation mask. The leakage current of GDD device is reduced two orders of magnitude from 21.52×10 exp (-9) A to 0.14×10 exp (-9) A in OFF state while keeping the ON current to be almost identical to that of the non-LDD poly-Si TFT's After 5 hours hydrogen passivation, the ON/OFF current ratio is increased by four times of magnitude, and the device characteristics, such as threshold voltage, subthreshold slope and leakage current, are improved remarkably.
수소화를 고려한 다결정 실리콘 박막 트랜지스터의 전기적 스트레스의 영향

We have investigated the effects of electrical stress on poly-Si TFTs with different hydrogen passivation conditions. The amounts of threshold voltage shift of hydrogen passivated poly-Si TFTs are much larger than those of as-fabricated devices both under the gate bias stressing and under the gate and drain bias stressing. Also, we have quantitatively analyzed the degradation phenomena using by analytical method we have suggested that the electron trapping in the gate dielectric is the dominant degradation mechanism in only gate bias stressed poly-Si TFT while the creation of defects in the channel region and poly-Si/SiO_2 interface is prevalent in gate and drain bias stressed device.

We have fabricated a LDD structured polysilicon thin film transistor with low leakge current and be optimized LDD length has been obtained. The device performance is improved by hydrogen passivation process. The on/off current ratio of poly-Si TFT's with 0.5㎛ and 1.0㎛ LDD length is much higher than that of conventional structured device due to the decrease of leakage current. The optimized LDD length may be 0.5㎛ from the experimental data such as on/off current ratio, threshold voltage and hydrogenation effect.

This study proposes an optimized diffuser strake design that can improve driving performance for cars in high-speed driving mode. The speed of the vehicle is set to 160km/h, and the number of strake is set to 4, 6 and 8, and the angle of the diffuser is set to 4, 5 and 6 degrees. The arrangement of the strake is centered, edged and equally arranged. The optimized diffuser design induced with the Ansys Fluent analysis shows a drag coefficient of 16% less than the basic diffuser-free model at a diffuser angle of 6 degree, 8 strakes, and equal arrangement.
