MOTIE(Ministry of Trade, Industry & Energy) aims to build a Southwest 2.5GW offshore wind farm. The job will require help from the government, electric operator and manufacturers. The domestic offshore wind farm market will boost global competitiveness up until 2019. This research analyzes the economic impact of the offshore wind farm project. The local acceptance in terms of production, employment and value added are expected to be maximized. According to the quantitative analysis using the extended 2010 input-output table, we calculated that the production inducement impact will reach up to 13.5 trillion won. 11.07 trillion won from the offshore wind farm industry and 2.4 trillion won from others. Furthermore the impact of increase in employment is expected to reach 22,662. 9,883 will be from the wind farm industry and 12,779 from other fields. The impact is expected to be greater especially during the middle of the jobless growth period, Lastly, the value added inducement impact is expected to be 4.24 trillion won. Regarding economic impacts, strategies required for increasing local acceptance are as follows. First, in order to diversify and sophisticate the primary industry into a secondary or tertiary one, we need to develop the nearby wind farm site into a wind farm thema park. Attracting the wind farm production, installing and maintaining/repairing firms and establishing an experience center for K-12 students by providing them an education center for offshore wind energy can be specific means of development. Also, during the operation and after the destruction of facilities, the government should lay out the sub-structure of the wind farm as a sea ranch. Thirdly, the level of local acceptance regarding the community ownership of the offshore wind farm should increase to those of Middelgrunden(Denmark) and Navarra(Spain). Considering the economic condition of Buan, Gochang and the Yeonggwang area, community ownership is one of best solutions for the increment of local tax revenue. At last, considering the supports system of areas adjacent to power plants and ``Partnership management with local community’, the offshore wind farm operator may need to provide assistant policies to nearby communities. The policies should be based on Corporate Social Responsibility(CSR) such as education scholarship projects, local economy cooperative projects, sports/culture projects.

The antigenic potential of CFA-001, cefazolin, a cephalosporin derivative produced by an enzymatic semisynthesis, was determined in Hartley guinea pigs. A battery of tests employed consisted of active systemic anaphylaxis (ASA), passive cutaneous anaphylaxis (PCA), and indirect hemagglutination test (IHA). The results were as follows: 1) In ASA, no signs attributable to anaphylaxis was observed in guinea pigs sensitized with CFA-001, whereas OVA-sensitized animals induced severe anaphylactic symptoms; 2) guinea pigs did not produce antibodies against CFA-001 when sensitized with or without Freund's complete adjuvant (FCA) in homologous PCA tests. Meanwhile, antibodies against ovalbumin (OVA) were clearly detected; 3) No CFA-001-specific hemagglutination was observed in the IHA using sera obtained from CFA-001-sensitized guinea pigs. These results suggest that CFA-001 has no antigenicity potential in guinea pigs.
Development of Multiple CMP Monitoring System for Consumable Designs

Consumables used in Chemical Mechanical Polishing (CMP) have been played important role to improve quality and productivity. Since the properties of consumables constantly change with various reasons, such as shelf time, manufactured time, lot to lot variation from supplier and so on, CMP results are not constant during the process. Also, CMP process results are affected by multiple sources from wafer, conditioner, pad and slurry. Therefore, multiple sensing systems are required to monitor CMP process variation. In this paper, the authors focus on development of monitoring system for CMP process which consist of force, temperature and displacement sensor to measure the signal from CMP process. With monitoring systems mentioned above, complex CMP phenomena can be investigated more clearly.
Predictive Model for Growth of Staphylococcus aureus in Blanched Spinach with Seasoning

The safe storage time of blanched spinach with seasoning was determined using a predictive model of Staphylococcus aureus as a function of storage temperatures (5, 15, 20, 25, 30, $35^{\circ}C$). Storage of blanched spinach with seasoning at 5 and $15^{\circ}C$ did not show any appreciable increase in the viable populations of S. aureus. At 20, 25, 30, and $35^{\circ}C$, a progressive increase in the viable populations of S. aureus was observed and increased more rapidly at 30 and $35^{\circ}C$. A primary model (Gompertz model) was used to determine the determination coefficient ($R^2$) values of lag time (LT) and specific growth rate (SGR). $R^2$ values were not detected (ND) ($5^{\circ}C$), 0.9777 ($15^{\circ}C$), 0.9980 ($20^{\circ}C$), 0.9949 ($25^{\circ}C$), 0.9940 ($30^{\circ}C$), and 0.9959 ($35^{\circ}C$). A quadratic polynomial model equation could be proposed as a secondary model and was applied for lag time and SGR from primary modeling graphed as a function of storage temperature. The compatibility of the model was confirmed by calculating $R^2$, mean square error (MSE), bias factor ($A_f$), and accuracy factor ($B_f$) values as static parameters. For LT and SGR, $R^2$ values were 0.9718 and 0.9789; MSE, 3.25 and 0.00; $A_f$, 1.19 and 1.12; $B_f$, 1.05 and 1.02, respectively. These results indicate that the predictive model for S. aureus on blanched spinach with seasoning has a high statistical compatibility. Predicting S. aureus growth under different temperature storage conditions yielded safe storage times of blanched spinach with seasoning of 10, 10, 8, and 6 h for storage temperatures of 20, 25, 30, and $35^{\circ}C$, respectively.
Consumable Approaches of Polysilicon MEMS CMP

Chemical-mechanical polishing (CMP), one of the dominant technology for ULSI planarization, is used to flatten the micro electro-mechanical systems (MEMS) structures. The objective of this paper is to achieve good planarization of the deposited film and to improve deposition efficiency of subsequent layer structures by using surface-micromachining process in MEMS technology. Planarization characteristic of poly-Si film deposited on thin oxide layer with MEMS structures is evaluated with different slurries. Patterns used for this research have shapes of square, density, line, hole, pillar, and micro engine part. Advantages of CMP process for MEMS structures are observed respectively by using the test patterns with structures larger than 1 urn line width. Preliminary tests for material selectivity of poly-Si and oxide are conducted with two types of silica slurries: $ILD1300^{TM}\;and\;Nalco2371^{TM}$. And then, the experiments were conducted based on the pretest. A selectivity and pH adjustment of slurry affected largely step heights of MEMS structures. These results would be anticipated as an important bridge stone to manufacture MEMS CMP slurry.
Update on the epidemiology of inflammatory bowel disease in Asia: where are we now?

Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) has become a global disease. As IBD is a chronic disease that can result in remarkable morbidity and disability, estimation and understanding the disease burden of IBD is imperative to prepare adequate health care systems. However, variations in IBD incidence or prevalence may reflect differences in the distribution, and there are regional disparities in Asia with a large population of approximately 4.6 billion in 2020, which is equivalent to 60% of the total world population. Although comprehensive understanding of the epidemiology of IBD in Asian countries is difficult, this review includes updated data regarding the incidence and prevalence of IBD and the estimated disease burden in Asia. Fluorescence Quenching of Norfloxacin by Divalent Transition Metal Cations

Fluorescence quenching of norfloxacin (NOR) by Cu2+, Ni2+, Co2+ and Mn2+ was studied in water. The change in the fluorescence intensity and lifetime was measured as a function of quencher concentration at various temperatures. According to the Stern-Volmer plots, the NOR was quenched both by collisions and complex formation with the same quencher. However, the static quenching had a more important effect on the emission. Large static and dynamic quenching constants support significant ion-dipole and orbital-orbital interactions between NOR and cations. The both quenching constants by Cu2+ were the largest among quenchers. Also, quenching mechanism of Cu2+ was somewhat different. The change in the absorption spectra due to the quencher provided information on static quenching. The fluorescence of NOR was relatively insensitive to both the dynamic and static quenching compared with other quinolone antibiotics. This property can be explained by the twisted intramolecular charge transfer.
