        백서의 실험적 치아이동시 osteonectin 및 osteocalcin의 발현

        백서 전치에 견인력을 가해 비교원단백인 osteonectin 및 osteocalcin의 발현 및 분포 변화를 면역 화학적 염색을 통하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1. 견인력을 가한 후 28일째까지 견인측의 치주인대 섬유는 신장되어 있었고, 압박측의 치주인대 섬유는 압축되어 있었으며 섬유의 배열이 완전히 회복되지 않았다. 2. 대조군의 상아질과 백악질, 골세포에서의 osteonectin 발현은 경미하였지만 조상아세포, 치조골 기질에서는 약양성의 발현을 보였다. 3. 대조군의 상아질, 치수, 치주인대 및 치조골 기질에서의 oseocalcin의 발현은 경미하였지만 치은, 골세포 및 백악질에서는 음성으로 관찰되었다. 4. 실험군의 상이질, 백악질, 치수, 조상아세포에서의 osteocalcin 및 osteonectin의 발현은 견인력 적용기간에 관계없이 대조군과 큰 차이가 없었다. 5. 실험군의 악간봉합에서 osteocalcin의 발현은 치아이동 7일째까지 대조군과 차이 없다가 14일째 이후에 약양성으로 유지되었으나, osteonectin은 7일째까지 증가되어 강양성을 보이다기 14일째부터 감소되었다. 6. 압박측 치주인대에서의 osteonectin의 발현은 대조군과 차이 없이 경미한 양상을 나타냈으나 견인측에서는 14일째까지 시간경과에 따라 증가되었으나 28일째에는 감소되었다. 7. 치주인대에서의 osteocalcin의 발현은 14일째까지 경미했으나 28일째에 견인측이 압박측보다 많은 강양성을 나타냈고 치아측 보다는 치조골측의 섬유가 더 강한 염색도를 보였다. 8. 치조골 기질에서의 osteonectin의 발현은 14일째까지 경미한 반응을 나타내다가 28일째에 중등도의 양성 발현을 보였으나 osteonectin의 발현은 4일째까지 대조군과 차이가 없다가 7일째부터 시간에 따라 증가하였으며 압박측보다 견인측에서 발현의 정도가 많았다. This study was designed to evaluate the expression of non-collagenous protein in periodontal tissue during the experimental movement of rat incisors, by LSAB(labelled streptavidine biotin) immunohistochemical staining for osteonectin and osteocalcin. Twenty seven Sprague-Dawley rats were divided into a control group(3 rats) and 6 experimental groups(24 rats) where 75g of force was applied from helical springs across the maxillary incisors. Rats of experimental groups were sacrificed at 12 hours, 1, 4, 7, 14 and 28 days after force application, respectively. And the tissues of a control group and experimental groups were studied immunohistochemically and histologically. The results were as follows: 1. Until 28days after force application, periodontal fibers had been strectched on tension side and compressed in pressure side of all the experimental groups, and the arrangement of periodontal fibers had not been recovered yet. 2. The expression of osteonectin in control group was rare in dentin, cementum and osteocyte, and was mild in odontoblasts and matrix of alveolar bone. 3. The expression of osteocalcin in control group was negative in gingiva, osteoblasts, osteocyte and cementum, and was rare in predentin, capillaries in pulp and periodontal ligament and the matrix of alveolar bone. 4. There was no difference in the expression of osteocalcin of osteonectin in dentin, cementum, pulp, odontoblasts, between of control and of experimental groups. 5. The expression of osteonectin in intermaxillary suture got the peak in 7-day and was declined after 14-day. The expression of osteocalcin remained in same degree since it became mild in 14-day. 6. The expression of osteonectin in pressure side of periodontal ligament of experimental group was rare, which was similar to control group. But in tension side, it was increased until 14-day after which was declined. 7. The expression of osteocalcin in periodontal ligament was rare in 12-hour to 14-day, but became severe in 28-day, which was greater in tension side than in pressure side, and in the periodontal fiber next to alveolar bone than tc tooth surface. 8. The expression of osteocalcin in alveolar bone was rare until 14-day in pressure side, but became moderate in 28-day. The expression of osteonectin was increased from 7-day by time dependency, which was greater in tension side than in pressure side.

        Nd:YAG 레이저 照射에 따른 琺瑯質의 變化에 關한 實驗的 硏究

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the changes of polished and caries enamel of third molar when they were irradiated by the CW Nd : YAG laser with optical fiber delivery system and the pulsed Nd:YAG laser. The author investigated the hardness of lased enamel surfaces with the energy density of 40 J/㎠ and the shear bond strength between etched enamel and composite resin, and examined the polished and caries enamel surfaces irradiated by CW Nd : YAG laser with the energy density of 20-120 J/㎠ by using scanning electron microscope. The obtained results were summerized as follows : 1. The Knoop hardness decreased significantly after irradiating the Nd : YAG laser with the energy density of 40 J/㎠(P<0.01). 2. The shear bond strength of enamel showed a significant difference before and after irradiating the Nd : YAG laser with the energy density of 40 J/㎠(P>0.05). 3. SEM photographs showed the irregular microcracks and the structural change of lased enamel surface. 4. SEM photographs showed the aspect of decrease in decalcification of enamel prism after irradiated with the energy density of 40 J/㎠. 5. SEM photographs showed the aspect of removal in caries enamel when they were irradiated with the energy density of 70 J/㎠.

      • 파악력 평가시 10%법칙 적용의 이용성에 관한 연구

        The purpose of this study was test utility of 10% rule in assessment of hand grasp strength. The 10% rule states that the dominant hand possesses a 10% greater grip strength than the non-dominant hand. The subjects for this study consisted of 50 male 50 female college students who agreed participate in this study. Grasp or grip strength was measured with a factory-calibrated hand dynamometer(Preston Co. production) for cylindrical grasp and JAMAR dynamometer for tip pinch strength. Results showed an 14.60% strength of cylindrical grasp and 10.61% strength of tip pinch difference between dominant and non-dominant hands. Second showed that the 10% rule is valid for right handed person. except cylindrical strength of female and tip pinch strength of male. Further research is necessary to determine the characteristics according to hand size and graspping time.

      • 아펜탈정의 생물학적 동등성 평가

        The bioequivalence of two aceclofenac tablets was evaluated in 14 normal volunteers (age 21∼29yrs) following oral administration. The test product was "Apental tablet" made by Asia Pharmaceutical Co. and the reference was "Airtal tablet" made by Daewoong Pharmaceutical Co.. After one tablet containing 100 mg aceclofenac was administered, blood was taken at predetermined time intervals and the concentration of the drug in plasma was quantitated with an HPLC method. AUC, C_max and T_max were calculated and statistically analyzed for the bioequivalence of the two products. The results showed that the differences in AUC, C_max and T_max between two products were 4.23%, 2.15% and 0%, respectively. The powers for AUC, C_max and T_max were >90%,>90% and 85.8%, respectively. Confidence intervals were within ±20% for three parameters. All of these parameters met the criteria of KFDA for bioequivalence, indicating that "Apental tablet" is bioequivalent to "Airtal tablet". (Kor. J. Clin. Pharm. 1999; 9(1): 44-48)

      • 원적외선 건조에 의한 곡물 가공 부산물의 항산화능의 변화

        Effect of far-infrared drying to cereal processed byproducts was tested for antioxidative ability. Electron donating abilities of rice hull, rice bran, and barley bran after far-infrared drying were 93.88%, 91.50%, and 90.59%, respectively. According to TBARS, the inhibitions of lipid peroxidation of rice hull and rice bran were maintained independently on far-infrared drying and simple heating drying, while those of barley bran were decreased with the simple heating drying. The antioxidant ability of rice processed byproducts was more stable than that of barley byproducts. Isovitexin, the main antioxidant compound of rice byproducts, suggested to play an important role in the characteristics of rice byproducts.

      • 니코틴 패취제의 생물학적 동등성 평가

        The bioequivalence of two nicotine patches was evaluated in 16 normal male volunteers (age 21∼27 yrs) following single transdermal application. Test product was "Nicostop patch" made by Sam Yang Co. and reference product was "Nicotinell TTS patch" made by Korean Searle Ciba-Geigy Co. After nicotine patches were applied onto the inside of the forearm, blood was taken at predetermined time intervals and the nicotine concentration in plasma was determined with a sensitive GC method using NPD detector. AUC and C_max the differences in AUC and C_max between two products were 5.47% and 2.70%, respectively. The powers (1-β) for AUC and C_max were >90% and 88.76%, respectively. Detectable differences(△) and confidence intervals were all less than 20%. All of these parameters met the criteria of KFDA for bioequivalence, indicating that "Nicostop patch" is bioequivalent to "Nicotinell TTS patch".

      • 四味軟堅湯加味方이 抗癌 및 抗轉移 效果에 미치는 영향

        To svaluate the antitumor and antimetastatic effects of Samiyeongeontanggamibang(SYTG), We have examined whether SYTG can inhibit the growth of several tumor cell lines, tumor cell adhesion, experimental tumor metastasis and increase survival rate of tumor-bearing mice by inhibition of DNA topoisomrase activity. The results were obtained as follows: 1. SYTG extracts revealed an efficient cytotoxicity against A549, SK-OV-3, B16-F10, and SK-MEL-2 cell lines. 2. SYTG extracts inhibited DNA topo-isomerase I from calf thymus. 3. The T/C% in S-180 bearing ICR mice treated with SYTG was 115.8% 4. SYTG extracts significantly inhibited adhesion of A549 cell to complex extracellular matrix. 5. In pulmonary colonization assay, SYTG suppressed lung metastases in tumor cell-injected mice. 6. In CAM assay, SYTG extracts inhibited angiogenesis at 15ug/egg concentration as compared with control. These results suggested that SYTG extracts might be a potent inhibitor of cancer.
