        해방기 시어의 일면

        이 논문은 정지용과 조지훈의 시를 대상으로 해방기 시어의 일면을 살핀 시도이다. 1935년 개척된 시어의 영역은 반봉건?반외세?민족국가 설립이라는 시대정신의 자장 안에서 축소되었다. 고어나 한자어는 새로움에 위배되는 것으로, 방언은 규정에 어긋나는 것으로 ‘표준어’와 대치되고 있었다. 정지용이 개척했던 여러 개성적인 시어, 고어와 한자어에 관심이 컸던 조지훈의 시어, 두 시인의 시어가 시대정신의 압력에 어떠한 반응을 했는지 파악하는 것이 이 글의 목적이다. 한자어와 고유어의 대결에서 한자어가 밀려나는 모습이 해방 이후 정지용의 시에는 담겨 있다. 보편성을 기반으로 한 고어나 방언이나 조어가 주류 시에 포함될 기회가 지연되었던 것이다. 조지훈은 해방 전 창작한 시에서 유서 깊은 대상의 고유명사를 한자어에 담았다. 그의 한자어는 고어와 밀착했다. 해방 이후 조지훈 시에는 특정 대상을 지칭하는데 쓰이는 한자어가 아니라 일상생활에서 쓰이는 한자어가 등장했다. 조지훈의 시는 스승인 정지용과 걸었던 길과 교차하며 갈라졌다. 정지용은 시대 현실과 유리된 동시에서 고유어를 적극적으로 활용하며 시적 이력을 마감했고 조지훈은 시대현실이 투영된 관념적 추상어들을 보여주며 남한 시단의 일반적인 흐름에 동참하였다. This article is an attempt to review the trends of the poetic words in the time of Koream Liberation focusing on poems by Jeong Ji Yong and Cho Ji Hoon. In 1935, the scope of pioneered poetic words was reduced into the field of to build an anti-feudal, against-foreign, and national country. Old or words in Chinese letters were considered as new ones while dialects were regarded as violation of the regulation to the standard language. This article aims at figuring out how poetic words by Jeong Ji Yong who pioneered diverse original words for poetry and by Cho Ji Hoon, who had great interest in old words and one in Chinese letters, have reacted by suppress of the ethos of the time. Jeong Ji Yong’s poems after the liberation contains defeat of words in Chinese letters in the competition between original Korean words and it. After Jeong Ji Yong, the possibilities of universal old words, dialects, and coined words were gone. Cho Ji Hoon included the proper nouns of the old objects consisting of Chinese-derived words in his poems before the Liberation. His use of words in Chinese letters were closely tied to old words. Since the Liberation, Cho Ji Hoon"s poems showed daily-used words in Chinese letters not one designating a specific object. Cho Ji Hoon"s poems separated from those of Jeong Ji Yong, intersecting with them. Jeong Ji Yong used original Korean words actively in the situation isolated from the reality at that time and finished his career as a poet while Cho Ji Hoon showed idealistic abstract words reflecting the reality of the time, participating in general flow of poetry in South Korea.

        A Study on Estimating Mean Lifetime After Modifying Censored Observations

        Kim and Kim (1997) developed a method of estimating the mean lifetime based on the augmented data after imputing censored observations. Assuming the linear relationship between lifetime and covariates, and then introducing the procedure of Buckley and James (1979) to estimate the mean lifetimes of censored observations, they proposed a mean lifetime estimator and its consistency under the regularity conditions. In this article, the Kim and Kim's estimator is compared with the estimator introduced by Gill (1983) through simulations under the various configurations. Also, their estimator is illustrated with two real data sets.

        생활의 분산과 난해성의 기원 - 1960년대 김수영 시를 중심으로

        이 논문은 김수영 시의 난해성을 형성하는 요인으로 생활의 도입에 주목하였다. 1950년대 중반 김수영은 생활의 세목에 주목하여 시에 구체성을 더했다. 1960년대에 이르러 그는 구절의 반복으로 골조를 이루고 그 사이를 생활의 구체상으로 채운 시와 생활의 세속성이 어지럽게 펼쳐져 소음처럼 들리는 시, 개성적인 두 가지 모습을 선보였다. 어지러운 형태의 시에서 의미는 어느 하나로 고정되지 않고 다방면으로 발산하며 혼란스러운 모습을 연출한다. 세속성을 외면하지도 따르지도 못하는 시인의 갈등이 그 안에서 감지된다. 여기에서 난해성은 시가 일반적으로 환기하는 단순한 형태와 압축적인 의미를 배반하는 것으로 발생한다. 한편 구절의 반복이 골조를 이룬 시는 점차 생활의 세목을 지우는 쪽으로 전개되었다. 그러나 그와 같은 시에서도 생활의 파편이 남아 있었다. 여기에서 난해성은 자율성의 코드로 파악되지 않은 것에서 비롯한다. 역설적이게도 생활은 김수영 시의 난해성을 일으키는 기원이었다. 김수영의 시는 난해성이 삶에 닿고자 하는 말의 고투에서 생긴다는 것을, 생활은 말의 기원이자 지향점이라는 것을 방증한다. This thesis focused on the introduction of life as a factor that forms the difficulty of Kim Soo-young"s poetry. In the mid-1950s, Kim Soo-young paid attention to the details of life and added concreteness to the poem. By the 1960s, he showed two distinct aspects: poetry, which was framed by repetition of phrases and filled with concrete images of life, and poetry in which the secularities of life were exposed in a dizzying manner and sounded like noise. In a dizzying form of poetry, the meaning is not fixed in any one, but radiates in many ways, creating a chaotic appearance. The conflict of the poet, who neither ignores nor follows snobbery, is perceived in it. The difficulty here arises from the betrayal of the simple form and condensed meaning that poetry usually evokes. On the other hand, the poem, in which the repetition of verses was framed, gradually developed in the direction of erasing the details of life. But even in such a poem, fragments of life remained. The difficulties here come from not being comprehended by the code of autonomy. Paradoxically, the source of difficulties in Kim"s poetry was life. Kim Soo-young"s poetry proves that difficulty arises from the struggle of words to reach life, and that life is the origin and direction of words.

        Prediction of Retained Austenite Fraction in Quenching-and-Partitioning (Q&P) Steels Using the Gibbs Energy Balance Approach

        Prediction of retained austenite fraction is quite important in designing advanced high strength steels since retained austeniteis the source of transformation-induced plasticity. The present study investigates the phase constitution of a medium-carbonQ&P steel by comparing various approaches to the transformation stasis of bainitic ferrite and applying them to the partitioningprocess. Among them, the modified GEB approach gave the best agreement with the experimental observation, includingthe effects of heat-treatment condition and chemical composition on phase constitution. This indicates phase transformationduring partitioning can be effectively described by the physics of Gibbs energy balance approach.

        목적: Demonstrate a new instrument, technique or procedure 방법: In this video, we showed how to remove huge ovarian tumors in sinlgel port laparoscopic surgery by SW KIM`s method. SW KIM`s method is the technique to put a huge ovarian tumor into a specially designed extremely large endopouch (XXXL: 30x30㎠sized) using two conventional laparoscopic needle holders and one laparoscopic grasper and gravity by changing the patient`s position. After identifying the infundibulopelvic and uteroovarian ligaments salpingooophorectomy including huge ovarian tumor was performed by LigaSure. And then ovarian tumor was located in the pelvic cavity by changing the patient`s position into reverse-trendelenberg position and a XXXL endopouch was inserted and un-rolled inside the abdominal cavity. To insert a huge tumor into the XXXL endopouch, the endopouch was opened in triangular shape. Bilateral apex of baseline of trianglular opening of the endopouch was hold by two needle holders and then the upper apex was hold by a grasper. After holding three point of endopouch opeing, the patient`s position was changed into deep trendelenberg postion, then the tumor came into the endopouch by gravity. While changing the patient`s position, 2 needle holders and a graspers were moved into the pelvic cavity from the abdominal cavity. Aftere identifying the tumor inside the endopouch, tumors could be removed through the single port opening site or transvaginally in laparoscopic hysterectomy case without spillage of ovarian tumor. 결과: The advantage of SW KIM`s method is to remove ovarian tumor without spillage in a single port laparoscopic surgery by putting it into the large endoscopic bag despite narrow space. 결론: Using a specially designed 30×30 cm sized XXXL Endopouch and SW Kim`s technique, huge ovarian tumors could be removed without spillage in single port laparoscopic surgery.

        Disruption of rsmA Gene of Pectobacterium carotovorum subsp. carotovorum LY34 and Effect on Pathogenicity

        The rsmA gene was cloned from soft-rot bacterium Pectobacterium carotovorum subsp. carotovorum LY34 (Pcc LY34), and its role in pathogenicity was investigated by marker exchange mutagenesis. From a cosmid library of Pcc LY34 genomic DNA, a positive clone carrying the rsmA gene was selected, and the gene was cloned by polymerase chain reaction (PCR) amplification. The gene is 186 bp in size and encodes a protein of 62 amino acids with a predicted molecular mass of 6,839 Da. The calculated pI of the RsmA is 8.16. The phylogenetic tree showed that the RsmA of Pcc LY34 appeared genetically identical to the CsrA of Pectobacterium atrosepticum SCRI1043 (100% identity) and similar to the CsrA of Yersinia pestis KIM10+(98.3%). The gene was disrupted by the $Km^r$ gene, and the cells became mutated (i.e., $RsmA^-$ mutant). The pathogenicity test revealed that the disease rating of the $RsmA^-$ mutant only differed slightly from that of the wild type on a slice of potato tuber and a Chinese cabbage stalk. These results suggest that RsmA is not an essential factor for the pathogenicity of Pcc LY34 and that the rsmA gene of Pcc LY34 is not completely derepressed in the $RsmA^-$ mutant for virulence-related genes, contrary to the results of Erwinia carotovora subsp. carotovora $RsmA^-$ mutant, which proved hypervirulent for celery petioles. These results showed that the microenvironmental conditions of the host and/or strain of pathogen are important for the coordination of virulence gene expression.

        Achievements of PVS (Primo Vascular System) Research from a Historical Perspective

        The purpose of this paper is to compare the biological research carried out in North Korea with the modern outcomes in the same field, from a historical perspective. In the 1960s, the group led by Bong-Han Kim asserted the existence of a fundamental circulatory system in the human body. Their findings were introduced in five papers as well as in the newspaper Rodong Sinmun. The size of the group, the range of equipment, and their findings expanded gradually, and the final paper on blood cells would be only published one of over sixty papers reported at that time. In the five papers, some unclear and inconsistent contents were found. Meanwhile, in the 2000s, PVS (primo vascular system) researchers have published over one hundred papers to prove the existence of this novel system. Some trends have emerged in approximately sixty papers as follows: The research on the identification of the anatomical and histological characteristics has gradually expanded to encompass the system’s own functioning. Also, new visual results (e.g. before and after dyeing, and its comparison with blood clots) and the exploration of possible medical applications (e.g. cancer metastasis channels or stem cells location) have been proposed. However, it is difficult to identify papers which comprehensively represented the elements claimed by Bong-Han Kim’s group. In addition, papers have been published more in alternative or Oriental medicine journals than in Western biomedical journals. It seems necessary to report more existence of the system in one laboratory animal and in more influential journals.

        Effect of Developmental Lead Exposure on the Expression of Hippocampal NMDA Receptor Subunit mRNA

        목적: in vivo 및 vitro에서 해마 신경세포의 발생단계별 NMDA 수용체 아단위 mRNA 발현에 대한 연 폭로 영향을 알아보고자 하였다. 방법: 흰쥐 해마 신경세포의 발생단계별 NMDA 수용체 NR2A, NR2B 아단위 mRNA 발현에 대한 연의 영향은 정상군과 연 폭로군의 출생 후 7일, 14일, 22일 흰쥐의 해마에서 in situ hybridization으로 mRNA 발현 정도를 densitometer로 측정하여 비교하였고, 연과 NMDA 의 세포독성은 해마 신경세포 일차배양 후 도립현미경을 이용한 형태학적인 관찰과 LDH 활성도를 이용하여 측정하였다. 결과: 연 과 NMDA 에 의한 세포독성에 대한 in vitro 실험에서 형태학적 소견과 LDH 활성도에서 해마 미성숙 신경세포와 성숙 신경세포사이의 차이가 있었으므로, 연과 NMDA 독성효과는 해마 신경세포의 발달 단계에 따라 차이가 있다. 정상군의 해마에서의 NR2A mRNA 발현은 출생 후 연령이 증가함에 따라 점진적으로 증가하였으나, NR2B mRNA 발현은 출생 후 연령이 증가함에 따라 점진적으로 증가하였으나 NR2B mRNA 발현은 연령의 증가에 따른 변화가 없었다. 연 폭로에 희한 NR2A mRNA 발현은 유의하게 감소하였으나(p<0.05), NR2B mRNA 발현은 변화가 나타나지 않았다. 만성적 연 폭로는 NR2A를 포함하는 NMDA 수용체를 감소시킬 수 있음을 알 수 있다. 결론: 연은 해마신경세포의 발생단계에서 NMDA 수용체 아단위 특히 NR2A mRNA 발현의 변화를 야기하여 시냅스 신호 전달에 영향을 나타냄을 알 수 있었다.
