        The design ranges of human-environmental system can be divided into seven kinds, water, thermal, air, light, acoustic, color, psychology and environment. This study aims at clarifying the theoretical background of thermal environment is what point of view is historically. Thermal environment developed based on the thermal comfort index, standard and law establishment etc. To constitute the amenity of thermal environment and to control it, it needs to prediction and adaptability.

        Experimental investigation was conducted to study the shear capacity of recycled aggregate concrete beams without shear reinforcement. The primer objective of the study was t investigate the suitability of using recycled aggregate concrete beams. In designing the specimens, shear-span/depth ratio and aggregate consideration(washed or non-washed aggregate) were chosen as main parameters. As a result, this study, to know the shear capacity of recycled aggregate concrete beams with the main variables such as shear span ratio and weather the recycled aggregate was washed or not, following conclusions come out. 1.In the 3-point flexural strength examine certain comparison of flexural strength between natural and recycled aggregate concrete wasn't come out, because it is failure specimen with early flexural crack simultaneously. 2.Shear strength of recycled-aggregate concrete beam under shear span ratio a/d=3 was higher than ACI(318-95) Code, but lower over a/d =4. 3.Ultimate shear strength of recycled aggregate concrete beam was higher than ACI(318-95) Code and it was very high on shear span ratio a/d =2.

      • 고강도철근콘크리트 기둥의 변형능력에 관한 실험적 연구

        Seismic design of reinforced concrete structures if based on the ductility approach that study to improve of strength and ductility in concrete members to require. This paper is, therefore, to study on the strength and the ductility of reinforced concrete columns subjected to high axial compression loads(0.35fc' .Ag). The test results from 1/3 scale models using high-strength reinforced concrete (fc'=560/㎠) is presented. For the research the experimental variables used the shape of shear reinforcing bar, the space of shear reinforced bar and axial force ratio. As a result, deformation capacity of reinforced concrete columns subjected to high axial compression loads affected in the influences of axial force ratio and the space of shear reinforced bar, the shape of shear reinforcing bar.

        Gastrointestinal stromal tumor (GIST) is the most common non-epithelial neoplasm arising in the gastrointestinal tract, but this tumor is rarely seen in association with type l neurofibromatosis (NFl) Generally, the majority of GISTs are isolated neoplasm and they are sporadically found in the stomach, but the GISTs in NFl patients are usually multiple and usually found in the small intestine. We report a case of multiple GISTs in the jejunum of a 63-year-old woman diagnosed as NFl accompanied by complication of gastrointestinal bleeding, In this case, Patient had multiple cafe-au lait spots and neurofibroma on skin and had freckling on axilla and groin, and then, we made a diagnosis of NFl. Gastrointestinal bleeding is controlled by resection of multiple GISTs. Generally, only 3-5% of all gastrointestinal bleeding comes from the small bowel. Causes of small intestinal bleeding are angiodysplasia, neoplasm, NSAIDs induced ulcer etc. but, If patients have NFl accompanied by complication of gastrointestinal bleeding, GISTs on small bowel must be considered.

        급속응고된 N-type Bi₂Te_(2.75)Se_(0.15) 열전재료의 미세조직과 열전특성에 미치는 압출비의 영향

        The n-Type thermoelectric compounds of Bi₂Te_(2.75)Se_(0.15) doped with 0.1 wt% SbI₃ were fabricated by gas atomization process and extruded under ratio of 16:1 and 28:1 at 450℃. The effect of extrusion ratio on the microstructures and thermoelectric properties were investigated by a combination of microscopy, XRD and thermoelectric properties. Grains of extruded bars are smaller than those of heated powder at extrusion temperature (450℃) due to the dynamic recrystallization but with increasing the amount of plastic deformation, grains of specimen extruded with 28:1 were slightly coarse. The compressive strength of hot extruded bar under 28:1 is 160 MPa and with decreasing the extrusion ratio to 16:1, the value is 250 MPa. The Seebeck coefficient a and electrical resistivity p were decreased with increasing ratio, while thermal conductivity x was increased. this results from decrease of carrier scattering and increase of carrier mobility. Extruded bar under ratio of 16:1 shows the higher value of figure of merit (Z=2.50x10^(-3)/K) than that of 28:1 (Z=2.07x10^(-3)/K). (Received June 24, 2004)

      • 인장하중을 받는 의사등방성 복합재 적층판의 피로손상

        The purpose of this work is to investigate fatigue damage of quasi-isotropic laminates under tensile loading in different directions. Low cycle fatigue tests of [O/-60/+60]s laminates and [+30/-30/90]s laminates were carried out. Materials systems used are AS4/Epoxy and AS4/PEEK. The fatigue damage of [+30/-30/90]s is very different from that of [O/-60/+60]s. The position of delamination generated at AS4/Epoxy and AS4/PEEK laminates were differentiated by the matrix difference that is, we suppose, the value of both G (critical energy release rate of mode-I) and G (critical energy release rate of mode-Ⅲ) difference. The experimental results are compared with the result obtained from the method of determining strain energy release rate components proposed by the authors.

        This paper is concerned with the new production method for jewelry by using rapid prototyping system. this system can directly produce the three-dimensional prototype shape of jewelry based on CAD modeling. Recently, rapid prototyping technology has been regarded as a powerful concurrent tool for integrating design and manufacturing process. In view of this, our study focuses the attention on the new application of this technology into the prototype production of jewelry which has been manufactured almost by hand. The characteristics of various RP systems are presented and one distinct jewelry example has been produced to show that out method is quick and efficient.

      • 강관구속된 철근콘크리트 기둥의 변형성능에 관한 실험연구

        A new method to prevent reinforced concrete columns from brittle failure. The method is called transversely reinforcing method in which only the critical regions are confined in steel tube. The steel tube can change the failure mode of the latter columns from the shear to the flexure. The steel tube also increase the compressive strength, shear strength and deformation capacity of the in-filled concrete. This paper described results of an investigation conducted to study the ductility of high-strength RC rectangular short columns subjected to constant axial and reversed cyclic lateral load. The variables in the test program were the amount of lateral steel, and shear span to depth ratio.

      • 음향방사로 인한 주기구조물에의 모우드 해석

        In this study, the mode shape of infinite fluid loaded plate is examined. The stiffeners are assumed to be equally spaced and exert only force on the Plate. The response of a fluid loaded ㄷ-type stiffened plate to a convected harmonic pressure and the far field radiation Produced by a point force excitation have been found by using Fourier transforms, a method which is particularly useful when fluid loading is included. At low and high frequencies the far field Pressure for a point excited stiffened plate is dominated by the fluid properties and the properties of the plate at the point of excitation. Mode in the far field pressure is found at the given direction of scattering frequencies, and in these frequencies the stationary phase wave frequencies are found to coincide with the free wave propagation constants for the stiffened plate. Also, the variation in the modes of the sound pressure level is increased with the increases of the bay space and in the bay area

Because the climate of summer is very hot, that is easy to increase the properties of hot medicines, a doctor must be careful to use it in summer. Also the climate of winter is very cold, that is easy to increase the properties of cold medicines, a doctor must be careful to use it in winter. But in the certain conditions to use diaphoretics or purgatives, in spite of that regulation a doctor can use them.
