무지개송어 Oncorhynchus mykiss 치어의 염분 내성에 관한 연구

이 연구는 부화 후 23, 33, 158일령의 무지개송어 10가족의 전형매군에 있어서의 영분내성에 대하여 조사하였다. 염분내성은 무지개송어의 치어를 해수로 이동시킨 후 체중, 50% 사망시간(DT-(50)) 및 표피상피세포층의 두께를 조사하여 판단하였다. 무지개송어는 16‰의 해수로 옮긴 후 5일간에 걸쳐 26또는 32‰이 되도록 염분농도를 상승시킨다. 실험기간 중의 50% 사망시간은 성장과 함께 높아지는 경향을 나타내었으며, 각 시기의 가족간에 있어서도 유의적인 차이를 나타내었다. 한편 해수로 옮긴 후의 체중의 변화는 5개의 가족에서 일령의 증가에 따라 체중 감소율이 경시적으로 낮아지는 경향을 나타내었고, 그 외의 가족에서는 일령에 따른 일정한 경향이 나타나지 않았다. 표피상피세포층의 두께는 한 가족을 제외한 9개의 가족에서 감소하였다. 이상의 결과로 보아, 본 종에 있어서의 염분내성은 성장과 유전적 요인이 관련하여 나타나는 것으로 추정된다. 따라서 무지개 송어에 있어서 선발육종에 의한 염분내성이 강한 가족의 선발이 유효한 것으로 여겨진다. The seawater tolerance of 10 full-sib families of rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss) that are 23-, 33- and 158-day-old fry after button-up are described in this study. Body weight, 50% death times (DT_(50)), and epithelial cell layer after transfer into seawater were estimated for the salinity tolerance of rainbow trout fries. Ten full-sib families of rainbow trout were transferred into 1680 seawater, and salinity was increased gradually from 16‰ to 26 or 32‰ over five days. DT_(50) for all experimental period revealed growth-relatedly increasing. DT_(50) was also significant among families with increase in age. In addition, body weights of rainbow trout resulting from transfer into seawater decreased in five families with increase in their ages, but had no effect in the other five families. Thickness of epithelial cell layer decreased in nine families. These results suggest the seawater tolerance is related to the growth and genetic effects in this species. Selective breeding would be effective in improving seawater tolerance in rainbow trout.

Halon 대체 소화제로 쓰이는 불활성 기체 중 Ar, N₂, CO₂의 단일 성분일 때의 물성(포화압력, 밀도, 점도)에 관한 실험식을 구하였다. 문헌에서 얻은 실험값을 이용하여 다항식 등의 회귀분석에 의해서 실험식을 얻었다. 포화압력은 온도에 대하여 각각 2차와 3차의 실험식으로 표시하였다. 밀도는 Ar, N₂는 온도에 대한 1차 함수로 표시하였고, CO₂는 온도에 대하여 각각 2차와 3차의 실험식으로 표시하였다. 점도는 온도에 대한 지수함수로 표시하였다. 이들 실험식을 이용하여 단일 성분일 때의 상태를 알 수 있다. Inert gases, Ar, N₂, CO₂, as a Halon alternative, the empirical equations were correlated in terms of saturated pressure, density and viscosity. They were obtained by regression analysis from the experimental data in the literature. The empirical equations of saturated pressure were expressed as the second and third order function of temperature. The empirical equation for Ar and N₂ of density were expressed as the first order function of temperature. And CO₂ was expressed as the second and third order function of temperature. The empirical equation of viscosity was formulated as a power function with temperature. This empirical equations would allow us to predict pure component state.

대체 소화제로 사용되는 불활성 기체 중 Ar, N₂, CO₂에 대한 혼합물에서의 물성(포화압력, 밀도, 점도)에 관한 실험식을 구하였다. Mixing rule에 의해 계산한 값을 이용하여 다항식 등의 회귀분석에 의해서 실험식을 얻었다. 포화압력은 온도에 대하여 1차 실험식으로 표시하였다. 압축인자와 포화압력을 이용하여 온도에 대한 밀도에 관한 실험식을 제시하였다. 점도는 온도에 대한 지수함수로 표시하였다. Ar, N₂, CO₂ 혼합물의 조성이 40/50/10(mol. %)에서 열역학적 실험식을 구하였다. For the inert gases of Ar, N² and CO², the empirical equations of the gas mixture were correlated in terms of saturated pressure, density and viscosity. They were obtained by regression analysis based on the mixing rule. The empirical equation of saturated pressure was assumed as the first order function of temperature. The empirical form of density was expressed as compressibility factor and saturated pressure while the empirical equation of viscosity was formulated as a power function of temperature. This empirical equations of the physical properties were obtained in the composition of Ar, N² and CO², 40/50/10 (mol. %).

몬트리올 의정서에 의해서 규제받는 CFCs와 Halon의 대체 물질인 HFC-23, HFC-125, HFC-227ea, HFC-236fa와 불활성 화합물 Ar, N₂, CO₂의 열역학적 물성인 포화압력, 밀도, 엔탈피, 점도를 비교하였다. 본 연구에서는 소화제의 물성을 문헌값을 온도의 함수로서 표시하였다. HFC화합물의 열역학적 물성은 Halon-1301과 비슷하게 나타내었다. 불활성 화합물은 주로 혼합물로 이용되지만, 불활성 화합물의 물성은 Halon-13O1에 비하며 바람직하지 않았다. For CFCs and Halons regulated by Montreal Protocol and their alternatives of HFC-23, HFC-125, HFC-227ea, HFC-236fa and the mixtures of inert gases of Ar, N₂ and CO₂, the thermodynamic properties of saturated pressure, density, enthalpy and viscosity were compared. In this study, the data from literature were expressed as a function of temperature. Thermodynamic properties of HFC compounds were similar to those of Halon-1301. Inert gas was mainly used as a mixture, but the physical properties of the inert gas does not have the favorable advantages over those of Halon-1301.

<P>Yes-associated protein (YAP) is a nuclear downstream effector of the Hippo pathway, a regulator of cell growth. The phosphorylated form of YAP (pYAP), located in the cytoplasm, prevents cellular proliferation by spatially segregating YAP from the nucleus. This study aimed at investigating the relationships of pYAP and YAP with clinicopathological variables in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC). Samples of ESCC from 142 patients were studied using immunohistochemistry for YAP, pYAP and Ki-67. In all cases of ESCC, higher nuclear expression of YAP was correlated with Ki-67 expression, tumor diameter, histological grade (1-2 versus 3), and pathological TNM stage (I versus II-IV) in univariate analyses (p=0.036, p=0.025, p=0.021, and p=0.033, respectively). Higher nuclear expression of YAP was associated with worse overall and disease-free survival (p=0.006 and p=0.008, respectively). Multivariate analysis showed higher nuclear expression of YAP to be an independent prognostic marker for overall survival (p=0.034). We observed a trend towards inverse correlation of cytoplasmic pYAP expression and histological grade (1-2 versus 3) (p=0.087). Our results suggest that YAP shifts from the nucleus to the cytoplasm as a consequence of phosphorylation, which occurs in the presence of high tumor cell density in the case of ESCC, and may be a potential indication of histological differentiation. Nuclear expression of YAP is correlated with tumor cell proliferation and is an independent predictor of worse prognosis of ESCC.</P>
