CdIn_(2)0_(4) photoanodes of 1.0cm diameter and 2mm thickness were prepared by pressing the mixed powders of high purity CdO and In_(2)O_(3) with molar ratio 1.1. At 1,100℃, fied for 72 hours and at 800℃, annealed for 24 hours in O_(2) gas. The photoanode had both a high electrochemical stability m 1M Na_(2)HPO_(4), solution and a good photosenstivity. From their photalectrolysis, the flat band potential of the anode was -0.275 volt (V vs. SOE). The photovoltaic effect is observed in the wan-length range from 23Onm to 760nm and maximum photocurrent was 1.8mA/㎠ at 38Onm.
Treatment of patient with foreign body granuloma developed after live bee acupuncture therapy

Live bee acupuncture therapy has been performed in Korea as an alternative therapy for chronic symptoms such as myalgia and arthralgia. This procedure is still being conducted currently, despite of the risk of opportunistic infection and multiple dermatologic reaction, so-called live bee acupuncture dermatitis. We report at a 45-year-old female patient presenting with erythematous and indurated plaque with crusts on posterior neck accompanied by pain and itching sensation. Her symptoms included nausea, heating sensation occurred 3 days ago and was getting worse. The patient reported that she had been treated with live bee acupuncture (Bong-Chim) therapy for 8 months as folk remedy. An excision biopsy was performed at the posterior neck. Based on his clinical features and histologic examination, she was diagnosed with foreign body granuloma due to live bee acupuncture therapy and improved by intralesional injection of triamcinolone acetonide. Patients regard symptoms caused by live bee acupuncture dermatitis as a Myeong-Hyun phenomenon. Therefore, there are not a few cases of foreign body granuloma caused by treatment with live bee acupucture for a long time. We report a case of granuloma in which clinical features are interesting and review Korean literature in order to reconsider the perception of acupuncture treatment.
Lichenoid drug eruption related to nivolumab in melanoma patient

PD-1(Programmed cell death 1)inhibitors, such as Nivolumab or Pembrolizumab, are used to treat melanoma of skin, but they can induce lichenoid drug eruption as one of the common skin side effects. We report at a 87-year-old woman presenting with polygonal, violaceous papules and plaques with overlying white scale, symmetrically distributed on the arms, legs, and trunk, and no involvement of the mucosa for a month. She was diagnosed with melanoma with multiple lymph node involvement 6 months ago and treated with Nivolumab for 2 months, and there have been no changes in other drugs. Histological examination revealed localized dyskeratosis, epidermal hyperplasia, interface dermatitis, and lichenoid infiltration consisted of lymphocytes, histiocytes, and eosinophils at the upper dermis. Based on her drug history, clinical features and histologic examination, she was diagnosed with lichenoid drug eruption due to Nivolumab and improved by systemic steroid and antihistamines. Although the mechanism of the onset is still unclear, it is thought to be caused by cross reaction of normal skin which induced by immunological changes of T lymphocytes to potential antigens due to the target effect on the PD-1/PDL1 pathway, rather than nonspecific hypersensitivity. Recently, drug eruption after using PD-1 inhibitor has been estimated as a positive predictor of treatment response, but further study is needed.
3차 의료기관 응급실에 내원한 아나필락시스 환자에 대한 임상적 및 통계적 고찰

Background: Understanding the epidemiology of anaphylaxis is imperative for appropriate diagnosis and treatment, but the prevalence reportedly varies and only a few studies have compared the clinical features of anaphylaxis with the underlying causes in Korea. Objective: This study aimed to investigate the etiology and clinical features of anaphylaxis. Methods: We retrospectively reviewed the medical records of 319 anaphylaxis patients who visited our emergency room and extracted information on the causes, clinical characteristics, and subsequent outpatient visits. Results: Food, drugs, and environmental factors were common causes of anaphylaxis. Statistically significant differences (p<0.001) were observed between children (<18 years of age) and adults (≥18 years of age), with food and drugs identified as the most common causes, respectively. Clinical characteristics of the patients were compared according to the common causes of anaphylaxis. Cutaneous symptoms were observed more frequently in food-induced cases (n=137, 95.1%) compared to drug-induced (n=73, 77.7%) and bee sting-induced (n=18, 78.3%) cases (p<0.001), whereas neurological symptoms were observed more frequently in drug-induced (n=37, 39.4%) and bee sting-induced (n=11, 47.8%) cases than in food-induced (n=18, 12.5%) cases (p<0.01). Drug-induced (n=44, 46.8%) and bee sting-induced (n=11, 47.8%) cases were more severe than food-induced cases (n=32, 22.2%). Out of the 319 assessed patients, only 25, 14, and 14 patients were referred to the pediatrics, allergy, and dermatology departments, respectively, after visiting the emergency room. Conclusion: Clinical characteristics of anaphylactic patients differed according to the underlying cause, but these findings are presumably influenced by factors determining the severity of anaphylaxis. We found that subsequent follow-up care in other departments to identify the cause of anaphylaxis was inadequate for most patients. (Korean J Dermatol 2019;57(3):126∼135)

The annealing effects of CdS thin films prepared by the chemical vapor deposition method have been investigated. At 380℃, the annealing of CdS thin films for 30 minutes in H_(2) gas and vacuum (10^(-5) torr) has led to enhance the electrical conductivity and crystal structure of them. The resistivities are increased by as much as two and concentrations of the CdS thin films annealed have very fluctuating values, this may be expected to attniute to the surface scattering and surface potential resulted from the defects.
ZnSe-ZnS : Mn 직류 박막형 전자발광 소자의 제작 및 특성조사

A ZnSe-ZnS : Mn dc thin flim electroluminescene device was fabricated electron beam evaporation method and investigated the charcteristics. The brightness-voltage characteristics for dc operation were measured . The threshold voltage was 32V and at 60V the maximum brightness was 95fL. The brightness depending on the layer thickness of thin flim increased and a brightness tended to saturate above 8000A and the optimum temperature of substrate was 200-230℃. The spectrum of this device had a maximum intenty at wavelength 585nm.

다양한 응용분야에서 디지털 칼라영상은 프린터를 통ㅎ여 출력되어진다. 이러한 출력 장비들의 하드웨어적 특성은 칼라 영상의 색을 왜곡시켜 부정확한 색 재현을 얻게 된다. 본 논문에서는 색채학적 모델에 기반한 다차 비선형변환을 이용하여 주어진 칼라 프린터의 특성을 알아내고 이를 보정하는 방법을 제시한다. 또한, 샘플의 개수를 변화하면서 비선형 변환식을 계산하여 기기의 특성화 모델링 과정에 필요한 적정수준의 샘플 개수를 제시한다. 실험을 통하여 원본의 색과 재현되어진 색의 색차를 구함으로써 제시되어진 방법의 타당성을 검증한다.
